Doll-Love (also known as DollLove) Mini Discussion Thread

Decided I would provide some pictures of my Doll Love girls. The first is Dusk (God-Enjoy) and the second is Dawn (Alina) :3

 

Your girls are absolutely stunning, I love them both! Dusk has such a unique style, I especially like her headpiece, is she like a forest guardian? I must see more pictures of Dawn, her gentle faceup and that blue-purple wig is to die for, I see why everyone says good things about the Alina sculpt!

thank you! Dusk is an elf (I classify her with the high Elves) , her favorite places to be are in the forest. All of her outfits I have made (my mom made one or two of her outfits but I don't dress her in them as often). Dawn will wear anything as long as it's pretty (Dawn's wig is from Angell-Studio). XD



...I didn't have the heart to tell them that those "flowers" are actually just weeds.

 

To Calabri: Oh, really? I'm so sorry then, I really didn't catch on that by "Mini", it was referring to the doll size as well! I'm so sorry to have taken up space with my post then, is there a possible way to delete it? Thank you for telling me and being so kind about it, I'm new to the threads here so I'm not quite sure about all the rules, haha. That's embarrassing, I saw people mentioning Youyous so I got a little confused... I'll come back when my friend's Evol comes in then, thanks for the info. ^^

And thank you also for the compliment, the little cutie belongs to someone else though but it was fun playing with her while I can, haha.

 

Oh my goodness, you made those yourself? You are a very talented seamstress, those outfits are to die for! I wish I had the skill to sew my dolls something, haha! Ohh how fancy, a high class Elf! I love dolls with elf-like ears, just about all my resin boys have some sort of unique ear shape! I really love that corset-like piece too, my tastes run in this direction, hehe. Dawn is just so precious, I can't get over how pretty she is! A friend of mine has that exact wig too, isn't it just fantastic? I'll definitely be on the look out for any other pictures of your two beauties. ^.~

To KasumiKaze: ^^" yes it was a bit of work...I had to make the patterns myself as well...since there is no such pattern of the types of outfits I want Dusk to wear. As for Dawn's outfit, I have made similar outfits to sell on etsy, but I think either the market is dead or I set my prices too high :/ then again I've seen people sell they outfits for more, yet they get sold...must be that I would have to make a name for myself first XD. If you ever consider getting a Doll Love, I highly recommend them. My friend has a Kaja vamp from Doll Love XD he's pretty cute!

my first and so far only doll was a dolllove lincy, and i adore her.
i love how even with the same face up she can have such a differnt face depending on lighting, wig ect

Can I just say that out of all the other doll brands I've seen, one of the many things I really love about Doll Love dolls is the piece under the hand that sort of hides the 'S' hook. I feel it articulates the hand and gives off this realistic wrist look!

Dont know how active this thread is -- but I just ordered a Doll Love Midsummer!!! I am very excited! I am not sure about a name yet but I have a small handful of ideas... ^_^ yay!

aaw. I love the little hat.

As for the body, the only thing I find I dont like about her body is her feet are sooooooo tiny! even my RS dolls have longer feet then her. Do you know if mnf shoes fit?

also, she is very noisy, her joints creeeek! that doesnt bother me though, it just seemed odd when i took her out of the box.

 

His hat was made by my friend, who owns a DollLove Lincy herself ^ u ^

I don't know anything about the girl feet... I only have a boy, and he's my only MSD, so I can't compare feet either xD

Yeah, creaky joints... xD I was about to say they wear off over time, then I picked up my boy and he's still creaky, so I think I just got used to it.

Edit: OH Back to the feet, I don't know when I'll get the chance but I can compare my friend's (multiple friends) minifee and doll love girls whenever we have another doll meet.

Hi! I was wondering if anyone's tried putting a Doll-Love head on a MNF body?

I really want a minifee body for the amazing posing abilities, but I love my girl's head.
