Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     5. I saw photos of a Thea recently and just completely fell in love! So much so, that I have one if my own coming home now hopefully next week. I was thinking about calling her Dorothea. I've got an outfit and everything ready for her arrival. :D

    6. Sorry for the double post, I got a photo of Dorothea now that I finally got around to restringing her and sueding her. (Apparently she was strung with YoSD elastic and it had come undone in shipping anyway). Here is my new girl Dorothea, or Thea for short. I'm still lacking shoes for her, not sure what to get for her yet.

    10. I saw this a while back but was a bit busy, hope you see this, I personally love their posing. I got a great photo of my Thea in a rocking chair recently. I did have to take some extra string out of her when I got her but if you are not afraid of restringing, they really pose well.

    12. I love how solid my girl really is. She has a great quality to her, and I've even been thinking about getting an Alice to match my Thea. I took some new photos of her trying on a different wig, but I'm not sure if I like this one better than the curls or not.

    16. This is a pretty quiet thread but I just wanted to ask all you 1/3 DL owners;how well do your dolls pose?
      I have a DollLove Alice who was very floppy in the legs when I first got her. I finally got some inspiration to restring her last night and made her much tighter but she's still pretty clumsy when it comes to standing. I feel like it's just because the sculpt of her long legs and the way her knees sort of bow back that she can't hold her weight, but maybe she's still loose...? I don't think my arms can possibly string her any tighter though! *_*

    17. Yeah, my Alice had posing problems too, especially when trying to get her to stand... Glad to hear I'm not the only one that had that problem.

    18. My Alice stands like a rock, I never worry about her falling on her face like some of my others are prone to do (eyes Karasu warily). She will be 2 years old this April.

    19. I'm glad too! I've compared her to the company stock photos and it really does look like her knees curve back more in real life, but then I guess it would be a problem with more of the 1/3 girl bodies... perhaps it's more to do with how she's weighted than her actual stringing? Who knows, but I'm glad you have a sturdy girl Jendaw!
      I just can't quite work out what will fix it, for now I've bought her a nice stand so at least I know she's safe :)
