Doll Plans 2017!

• Wait impatiently for my Kid Delf Darae to arrive
• Build the diorama that I ordered from Banggood. Should be Nendoroid scale, but we shall see.
• Enter (and win!) the lottery for the DD Saber.
• Fix everything that needs to be fixed for my Pullips -- some cracked wrists, damaged hair peaces, etc. None of it is particularly difficult, just no time.
• Get another display cabinet so I have room to display some of these things properly rather them taking up room just sitting on my work bench.
• Perhaps order a PukiFee for myself on Christmas (if it hasn't sold out by then).
• Take some photos. I've got enough camera gear, just no time.
• I'd like to try making some clothes. I've got a machine and more or less know how to use it, just need to get some fabric, some plans and some time. Maybe in winter when it's cooler...
• Get a practice head to try my hand at faceups. I can't draw a stick figure, so this may be a disaster. At least it won't be too expensive to try though.
• And for a really boring one -- sort out some insurance for the dolls/figures that I have. It's too easy to put off, but it's not that difficult to deal with insurance companies.

It would be good to complete at least a few of these during the year. We shall see...

 

I think I will focus on the dolls that are at home already. No new dolls, expect a body for my floating Dollkot Bera head. I have her for so long but she never got a body. This year I learned to do my own faceups, in 2017 I would love to learn how to make clothes and maybe shoes as wel.

 

I really want to buy an anime doll and I prefer dollfie dream I also hope to buy a doll chateau doll in 2017

And I plan to open my etsy shop in 2017!!

 

In no particular order:

• Finish paying off my Pathos LuoSheng
• Sew dresses and knit sweaters for my DC Ada
• Get faceups for both
• Start selling clothes for BJDs to start saving up for more
• Buy a Dollzone Hal to start shelling a character

I just started to get into BJDs over the summer, and I look forward to any pleasant surprises down the road. I hope to learn how to do faceups, but I think I want to save some money to invest in an air brush due to safety reasons. Hope we all have an excellent year

 

Well, I will have my first doll before 2017, so I feel like a lot of my plans for the coming year will be revolved around making/getting clothing, shoes, and additional wigs for her. Maybe furniture, too! In an ideal world, I'll get my hands on the Dollmore Ballet Kid body for her and getting all of the sueding and blushing done on it. If I can do that much, I will be so pleased with myself! And maybe, just maybe, this time next year I can start a layaway for my next doll, a Luts Model Delf.

 

• Sell my DF Ella (she's in the marketplace now, actually), maybe sell my DF Zi Luo as well
  
• Maybe buy a Minifee Chloe
• Faceups, wigs, and shoes for all of my dolls

 

• Receive my Mystic Kids QingCen (who I already ordered...stupidly a few weeks before Mystic Kids began their Christmas event! D'oh!). He'll be the first doll I get blank and intend to make into my own OC, so it'll be a lot of work.
• Get his faceup, wigs, clothes, accessories, backdrops, etc. I already have been collecting stuff for him and already know some of what I want to buy. My far out foolish hope is that I can get him totally ready before Anime Boston 2017, because I want to bring him to the doll meet!
• Learn to sew. It's a valuable life skill, not just for dolls, and I have access to a really great machine so there's no excuse.
• Find and order a doll to shell another one of my OCs. I still haven't found the perfect sculpt for him, but I'm sure I'll find him before 2017 is up!
• ....I had already made all of these plans, and then Angell-Studio released Lanling. I...I kind of...have to have him. With his clothes and mask and everything. So...somehow...he's coming to me...in 2017. Don't know where I'll find the money for it, but I'll do my best!

 

Hmm, I think this year I will get an Iplehouse Leonard EID in light brown skin. I will do the faceup and make his clothes myself, so all I will really need for him is eyes, shoes and a wig.

 

My doll plans are:

• Get an impldoll body for my soom lilid head.
• Get a body for my minifee shushu head.
• Buy clothes and wigs from amadiz studio for my luts girl and little monica girl.
• Sort out a style for my latti green coco.
• Buy a fairyland doll.

I really hope I can complete these ggoals and not get too sidetracked!

 

In 2017, I hope to...

• Attend the International Doll & Bear Show in Asheville, NC.
• Find a body for my SD floating head.
• Purchase no more than three new dolls.

 

• Get an Iplehouse HID lady. Finishing my collection(?)
• Sew more clothes
• do more face-ups

 

Doll Plans for 2017:

• Limit the number of new family members - I went a bit overboard this year.
• Shell Meia... again. Her 'old' shell suddenly decided she is Mahalo. Ah well, I still love her to pieces.
• Learn how to take - and actually take - decent pictures.
• Finish DoA doll profiles for everyone.
• Find a guitar for Elycia that will fit with her scale.
• Sew, sew, sew.
• Body for Kachina.
• Stands. For everyone. Good Stands. Yes.
• Finish sculpting my tiny fairy.

I thought I'd get my Anka next year since I paid her off in early December buutttt.... she's already home.

So the plan for next year is

- Wait for a face-up slot to open with one of the artists whose work I love (and jump on it!). I'm finishing some illustration commissions so that money should cover the face-up after I buy Christmas gifts.
- Save up some and order her a custom-made wig to suit her character
- Design an outfit for her and finish it. She's a space nomad so it should be lots of fun (and lots of little stitching!)

This should take me to late spring I think. I don't know what'll happen after but I don't really want to buy any more dolls I think, unless I randomly get a few thousand dollars from somewhere. My finances are split between paying for the important life stuff, paying for dates, spending a little bit extra on video game stuff, and then saving for either an electric scooter or a boat

 

I have three or four dolls that I would like to get for 2017. I know for sure I'm getting a Bobobie Apollo to shell into a Kpop star I really like. I also want to get a resinsoul Mi for a character I've been wanting to shell before I even got my first doll. She will be in tan skin with jointed hands. The other two I have planned is a Resinsoul Ming and Resinsoul Spring. The ming will be on the tang body in tan and the spring (who will be my first yosd) is being decided on. I would eventually like to try to get one of my grails if possible which is a dollfie dream candy and mystic kids Lillian.

 

My big spender goal is to finish buying dolls for my OCs. I still need three full dolls and one body, so that's quite a chunk of change! I have sculpts picked out for everyone though, so that's nice.

My other plans are creativity-based. I want to work on my face ups and start introducing acrylics into them instead of just using pencils for my lines, I want to keep working on wigs with the ultimate goal of making wigs to fit my characters, and then there's the big one: finally get brave enough to start sewing! I also want to try shoe making. It seems fun. I also need eyes for everyone, but I think I'll be buying those and not making them.

 

OMG! I don't even know! Money is getting ever tighter so probably I won't be doing very much.

- Hope I sell the dolls I've been selling ages
-Pay of my SDC Mei which I have on layaway
-Pay off Nefer Kane Lapine which I have on layaway
-Finish face-ups on Moon and Bloon
-Take more doll pics (once I find my new camera!!! Which I promptly lost because it's teeny. I also need to figure out how to work it...)
-Maybe sell some more dolls??
-Actually get some display cases or somewhere to put them so they aren't in their boxes all the time.
-More shoes!
-More clothes!
-More wigs!
-Organize said shoes and clothes and wigs
-Go to at least one convention.

 

In 2017, I hope to get my first BJD! (I only have a practice head right now) Finances and availability will depend which one I get and what happens to her heh

 

I plan on getting my very own first bjd
i have her story set up already and how i want her to look, money is a little tight as being an adult sucks, so im starting small something i can practice on and not feel guilty xD

 

Well... I've been out of the hobby for the past 3-ish years so I was just slowly starting to get back in when SOOM had their Teenie Free Choice and I put 2 dolls on layaway!
So, in 2017 my plans are:
- To pay off my SOOM babies
- Get face ups/blushing on them and the blank DC Bella I have
- Sell a few dolls and clothes
- Get a new face up on my DoC Si
- Keep my eyes peeled for any and all LillyCat order periods

 

I want to get them more outfits and take more pictures of them. I also want to draw them more and try to finish at least one of them.
