1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Doll Wedding/Marriage?

May 6, 2007

    1. I had the wedding/meet at my house, so no one was there to witness it except my hubby and other doll owners. Non-doll people probably WOULD have thought we were crazy! lol

I went through the stage of taking myself too seriously as well, mostly in my teen years when I did get picked on a lot for still liking dolls, which were "baby toys" to my classmates. so I do understand keeping the dolls more private. But now, as an adult, I have just stopped caring. I like what I like, and if that means taking a doll in public for pix, I expect funny looks, but really don't care. People who judge me aren't my real friends anyway, and my closest friends have come to expect my "weirdness". :P Life's too short to not have fun!

    2. i think i'd do a wedding shoot within my doll family, but i don't think i'd hold a gathering... that seems a little excessive.

    3. Or they're right there in the midst of the "weirdness" with you. ^____^

    4. I haven't even considered it before and I highly doubt I'll do it in my life, but that would be an AWESOME excuse to have a wedding gown, and bridemaids and the whole reception. Oh my, I love bridal and party fashion so much.

    5. I am definitely doing "wedding photos" for Rommie and Michael, as soon as I get their formal outfits. I want to take pictures outside in my garden. It'll just be me and my dolls in my back garden, though. I wouldn't be inviting anyone, or anything like that. It'd be more or less a creative photoshoot for a possible photostory.
