Wigs are definitely difficult for the Kien head. Right now I use a Dollmore wig with a wig cap and it is alright, but the wig itself is just too fluffy

My husband really wants Kien to have jointed hands lol. Is anyone creating/maintaining a list of hybrid options, or is everyone doing individual research? Seems like we should compile everything in one place so each person doesn't have to start fresh each time (unless someone already did this, then my bad I missed it).

 

Phython on Soom Supergem...the resin is pinker on this body but the fit is good.

I think someone actually created an excel but I forgot who.

I spent so much time trying to find everything I could about size and resin matches.

 

Wow!! Really neve get tired looking at owner pics of python!! Its so amazing that python looks so completely different from each other!!!! I have never seen any same faces/expressions of python before!!

I don't exactly have a problem with my phython though, I love his delicate features despite he seemed slightly more masculine in promo photos

 

Im maintaining the spreadsheet, but I still need to update it to add the new body from Dollclans. Im always happy to edit or add to the list if anyone thinks there is something missing. And if something seems wrong, just send me links to pictures showing the difference.

I tried all the wigs I have on my Wyper - I don't have many and they are all fur of different colours. They look very strange on him, I think because the shape of his head is different. I won't be putting the blond wig on him again. It made him look like Princess Diana of England. That was scary! O.O

 

I was just admiring your phython and thinking the same!! You've styled him really great!
I'm liking phython's sculpt more and more, just a tiny little change in the eyebrows makes such a huge difference.

I put my Kien on the PopoDoll 68 body, with the jointed hands. It's a very good fit for proportion and the color match was perfect.

Damn, I was so hoping Wyper was gonna be released this ordering period. *sniffle* On the bright side, Rynx looks gorgeous...although he doesn't fit on the body they have him on at ALL. Opinions, DC fans?

 

I'm not crazy about Rynx actually. It's the first time I've seen one of their new dolls and not gone - Wow!
I'm not sure what it is, maybe the mouth? Or maybe it's just more that he doesn't look right on that body?

My Wyper is packed up back in his box. Ho hum.

 

I have something against lower lips being way thicker and larger than the upper lip, and also something against lips being curled unnaturally upwards.
Unfortunately, their Koyote and Rynx both fall in that category. This is a real pity coz when I use my hand to block out Rynx's lips, I actually like his eyes and nose. He looks very manly.

His head might be a little small for that body. I measured his head against the body and he is about 7 heads and a bit over. Vezeto is only 6 and a half.

 

I also think that Rynx is too small for S line body. Maybe Spiritdoll Pround would be better since Vezeto head was too big for it but Rynx is smaller than Vezeto. Or more muscular Ringdoll RGMBody-3.

And going back to problem with wigs for Kien. I took my box with wigs and I tried some on him (I did not use silicone cap on him) and thats the result:
Licht 8-9 -> I think their wigs are smaller then other companies and they also may vary depending on wig style, I tried one (short, A3) and I had some difficulties putting it on his head, but when I manage to do it - wig fits well. Maybe 9-9,5 would be easier to put, but I don't have (yet) this size.
For my doll 7-8 -> too small, couldn't put it on his head and that was wig FMDM-1106
For my doll 8-9 -> too big, but not as big as Leeke, he does not swim on it but it was moving around a bit, and I think it looked too big (I have FMDL K-002), but maybe different style (and wig cap) could work better on him.
Monique 8-9 -> I have Paris, with is long straight and heavy and at first I thought wig will be too big, but it was okay and did not looked too big (and I think my Kien will steal thath wig from my other doll, lol), didn't fell out as I was afraid, but wig cap might be needed

Rynx's eyes and nose look really great. I think the lips ain't half bad because of the smirk but the way the lips were pursed together seemed really off to me.

 

I feel that way about my Jaquer. I got him and he wasn't quite what I expected, so he's been sitting in a box since I got him. Same with the Dollclans body I got for him. I hate the slope of the shoulders. His neck is so squat and short because his trapezius just starts way too soon. I think DC was trying for realism, but it just looks awkward.

I think Rynx is pretty, but it is hard to tell because the fit on the body is so poor. I wish I could see him on an appropriate body. Grr.
