I think the only difference between the 68 and 70cm was the joints were different? like i know some people have said that the knee joints are weird on some of the popodoll bodies... and im kinda picky about that haha. so if you could just snap some pics of his joints that would be great!

Hi guys!
I've been admiring DollClans dolls for a while now and I've kept an eye on Vezeto. Last week a Vezeto head suddenly popped up for sale at our local Finnish doll forums and the price wasn't bad either so I had to jump at the chance!
Now I'm anxiously waiting for him to arrive home, checking the postal tracking service every now and then to see if there's any update on his whereabouts right now! I'm so excited! :'D


Wow, I have to say that you guys have done a great job on listing the various bodies that could be used with DollClans heads! It's been a lot of help! I've honestly never had this much information about getting a doll a suitable body before. I'm thinking about getting my Vezeto the new Dikadoll 3rd type male 73 cm body in normal yellow. I've wanted to get that body for someone, but I'm not too impressed on any of the Dika heads they have at the moment (aside from Autumn and Adler who I have already, of course).

 

Granado just posted photos on their facebook page showing a Volks Sakomoto Ryoma head on a Granado "lads" body & it looks very good. which means Kien & the other U-liners would fit as well. a nice choice for those who like lean young adults.
the Granado normal skin is a bit different in resin color from the Volks pure, but it's close.

I have a question about how DollClans words their order status. I placed my first order back in August and my status says "cannot cancel". Does dollclans not use phrases such as "item processing"? For some reason it's starting to bother me and I'm feeling I may have been forgotten about.

 

There should be 5 columns once you click into the Order Status tab: Order Date, Order Number, Sub Total, Process and Status.
It's the Process that you should be looking out for. They changed from: Money transfer received, Item processing, Before shipping, On shipping, Shipment completed.
I'm not sure what you ordered, if it was accessories on hand and clothing, then that should have shipped around 2 weeks after payment. If it was items like earphones, monocles, skulls and doll heads...that would take longer. I think earphones and monocles take about 1~2 months. My head took 4 months to get to me. So you're still good until December. Once it passes the middle of December...you might want to drop them a question on their Q&A.

 

Thank you yuan_mdx. That helps a lot. I ordered a head with faceup and a few preorder accessories, and it still says money transfer received. Maybe it's time to ask them if that should say item processing. Thanks again!

 

Ah ic...usually after you pay them via paypal, you post on their Q&A and tell them that you paid via paypal and have them check that (they then change the status on the system). Hopefully, you noted your order number on your paypal so they can locate it easier. If not, you'll need to tell them the exact date you paid and the amount.
I hope they just forgot to change it...if not...it might mean they never processed your payment and never started making your stuff .

I have to ask another question, because I don't understand the DollClans Q&A board. I submitted my inquiry into my order and it's locked. It asks for a password to see the question I just submitted. How will I be able to see the response when I don't have the password? Thank you so much for all your help!

 

Ah! When you click the "write" button...it takes you to the next page with a couple of blank boxes.
Name, Password, Type, Email, Title.

Password <<< you type in your own designated password. This is useful if you are in a group order and want other people to be able to access these questions. so whatever password you put in this box is the one you have to use. If you've forgotten it...just write another question...but make a note of the password next time.

A couple of other sites use this method as well...so it's good to remember this system.

 

It took about 5 months for them to ship my first order. There were a few delays they posted up due to conventions. That order stayed as "cannot cancel" until it shipped, then it went to "on shipping" and that's how it stayed, never updated after it arrived.
My August order is still marked as "cannot cancel". I don't remember what the shipping date was supposed to be for it.

 

Yay! They wrote back and my order *is* processing! That is such a huge relief! Thanks for all the help, yuan_mdx and Sylphe_7. I've learned a lot for my first order and I'm sure Kien will go much smoother in December.

I got Jaquer with the Wild Life face-up. And I hate to say it, but I honestly still have no idea what body I want for him. I've been through the thread so many times looking for a revelation. But I just can't decide. At all.

 

Will you be able to share the pictures? I need to decide what body to get for my Rynx too. I was thinking Spiritdoll Proud v.2 or Popodoll 68cm vs 70cm. But the herculean is nice and beefy......
Well, there is plenty of time since those bodies are not limited or preorder during limited times.

 

Oh nice! I ordered Jaquer too, but blank. I was considering the Wildlife face up but I decided it was too much eyebrows!

I'm not too sure what to do with mine actually. The character the Jaquer head was meant for has been just about hijacked by my IoS Osiris. I'm trying to hold off getting him a face up until the Jaquer head gets here so that I can see them together and make up my mind! The Dollclans heads are a better fit on the Doll Leaves body I have for him, but Osiris is gorgeous, so there is going to be competition! Hehe!

 

Sylphe_7, I'm all about eyebrows and noses! Jaquer and Kien were the first boys I really fell in love with. I'm so eager to see them in person! Lately these IoS boys have been catching my eye too. They seem really versatile. I forgot about Doll Leaves. I'm off to check out those bodies too.
