Hey guys! I dont know if this is the right place to ask this but I need to know if Kien can be on a 70cm body? it says he can only be compatible with 60cm bodies DX I really like that sculpt but I would love him on a larger body OmO

 

I think I saw some Kiens on a 68cm body somewhere before and I have my Phython which is a same sized head on a 68cm body and the proportions works nicely.

 

Hi thankyou for the reply! and may I ask what body that may be? ; 7 ; I've only heard april story bodies works well with u line heads (kien is u line I think?)

 

I have him on a Mirodoll 68cm body which I'll be changing to a Loongsoul 68cm body some time this year or next year. I saw some Kien on the Popodoll hybrid page.

 

Ah, I ordered mine with face up so maybe that takes longer. I'll contact them anyway just to make sure. Thanks.

 

when i ordered my Rynx and Vezeto head (blank ones) back in October i think it was, it took them 4 months before i got the heads

 

OMG I LOVE the loongsoul bodies! I do hope to see your upgrade ; u ; I really want to see how the 68cm body will look on Kien x3

 

Hello everyone! I've been a long time fan of DC and finally bought myself a Jaquer. So now I have the inevitable hunt of finding him a body. I've done my research but I'm not sure how much of it is reliable since companies tend to change their resin and add new dolls. I'm mostly refering to the body guide. I would prefer a 68-70cm body for him, on the slim side. As close to the DC resin as I can get too. I just went through this with hybriding my Migidoll Jina so I know what a pain it is. Hybriding definitely isn't my favorite of things. If anybody can offer me any assistance, I would be forever greatful

 

Hey all! I'm in the process of getting a Kien head (FINALLY) and I had a quick question about resin comparison/body matching.

I'm looking at the April Story body (either the third generation or classy) and the Telesthesia (formerly Dragon Doll?) 68cm body. Dem abs, unf. Does anyone know if these bodies work for a normal skin head? Even if it requires a little blushing I don't mind. I read back in the thread and it said Dragondoll worked, but I'm just asking as an update.

 

here's my Benkel head with an April Story normal senior body + Granado new normal hands. very close match with all three companies.
my Kien head is on a Volks SD17 pureskin body which the head was made to match & it's perfect colorwise. (3 years ago I think) I can post a pic if anyone likes.

 

Benkel is an S line, right? I wish I was able to get a Volks body though, I'd love that.

That match is close enough to me hah. Nothing some blush won't fix looks like. Now I'm trying to figure out if the classy body or the senior body fits better, because I'm afraid of having to mod the neck on the senior. Totally regretting selling my granado body now. Ah well.

[MENTION=67407]Littlebirdzoom[/MENTION]: I was lucky (& obsessed) when I bought Kien, I immediately searched the MP for a SD17 body & found a brand-new one posted within hours. so both the head & body were from the same year. or maybe months apart in casting. you'd think they were made together. (+ the seller asked a very reasonble price) it was Fate!
I'd suggest the Grenado Lads body, but Kien has a fairly big head. and my Grenado Pancho is tiny! not sure about the proportions.

[MENTION=43965]skyealloway[/MENTION]: the hands are very nice, but the wrist joint is rather big with a heavy resin loop to hook onto the elastic with. I had to get bigger hooks & wiggle them a lot to get everything back through the rather small slit in the ball joint. at first, I didn't think it would go, but gentle persistence & red-tipped fingers won the day. not taking those babies off any time soon.
the ball joints look over-large to me on the AS body. but my only other jointed hands are 2 pairs of Soom which are so elegant. AS has tiny ball joints at the wrist with tiny hooks & a metal loop.
maybe ask Dollclans which jointed hands fit their body best? they are always very nice about questions.

I'll have to keep an eye out then. Good thing I'm in no rush to get a body. I guess the safest bet would be to find something that matches the older Volks batches if I'm thinking correctly... because they made their resin to match. My Kien head is a 2011 one so it might be safe. Oh I wish Little Monica matched... I've been gushing over the bodies all day xD

 

I got bot benkel and siber floating head, their head did fit loungsoul bodies amazing well, i wonder if it'll fit ringdoll also course the body was in grey skin so i'll need a CW and see if i can get an artist to dye it to match , figure i'll be doing major art work anywho so skin tone doesn't really need a perfect match

 

Yeah doesn't need to be a perfect match, just needs to be blushable. I wonder if it will fit Ringdoll also! The only Loongsoul boy I have is white skin so I'm kind of kicking myself over that haha. Oh well! Oh the endless hunt for bodies hahah

Their shipment dolls from Korea has been held by Thailand customs who refuses to release it.

They have decided to put in their order again.

It mainly effects the April pre-orders:

Which we have very, very low stock that can be shipped only 1~3 orders.
Starting from the earliest orders first.
Shipment will be started within start of August after August 3 onward.

Wow, that sucks. This could be financially devastating for a small company to absorb those kinds of loses so I hope most customers do not ask for a refund but wait for their dolls to get remade.

 

wow. I can't believe Thai customs would do that. it just hurts their own country's economy to treat a local business that way. + if they're treating Dollclans like that, imagine how many other small businesses are being bullied. I do hope most people will wait.
