Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     3. I was really looking forward to the blank phython head I ordered but nothing much can be done I guess. I hope the issue with customs would be resolved soon. It would really hurt Dollclans if the Thailand customs continue to withhold their shipments. I hope they won't have to absorb too much loss.

      I think Vezeto has been with me for two years now - and yesterday he finally received his (final) body - the new Resinsoul 72cm body. The 70 cm bodies I have tried him on where just too small for what I had in mind. I wanted tall, more or less slender, but strong in the 'runner' kind of way. And this body is remarkebly perfect - even though it has weird elbow en knee joints. It does stand and sit well and has good proprotions. The colour match is bad, but with some blushing of the neck it is not a problem - for he will be dressed fully. I will only have to find him some nice hands :)
      He also received a face-up yesterday - only needs lashes now. His wig is from Eclips21. :)

Hi [MENTION=49815]Cyador[/MENTION] - my V is still unpainted. just can't find the right body for him. you're right; he needs a tall body with some serious shoulders. but I like lean rather than buff & I can't work with much weight. he looks great on my Glamor Model bod, but the resin match is too far off. it would take a fantasy faceup to match the colors. or a turtleneck shirt all the time.
      Love your guy. am going to paint my Benkel soon because he has a body to share. I've had both of these heads for a couple years, too. *_*

    7. Then I challenge you to make a face-up for him! :) Maybe that will help you to look for a body for him too?

      And what about blushing the chest part of the Glamour Model body? Or maybe blush the head to match the body better?

      I am no longer look for a good match in resincolours. After I have finished the face-up it won't match with the orginal body either anymore.

      April Story normal & Granado normal yellow match Dollclans very well & Volks Pure is perfect. Dollmore not at all. & I don't want V airbrushed pink. :o
      besides, Hrolf (my glam model guy) would complain if I took his head off right after giving him a new "look."

      but, I will consider your challenge ;) - at least put V's faceup higher on my list. Benkel has a body that works beautifully for him, so he's next to get a faceup. (that body just doesn't have the shoulders for Vezeto & Kien won't share his SD17 which is also a bit small for V.)
      I think Vezeto is the only head I have now without a prospective body. :...(

    9. @petiteballerine - Sorry to jump into your conversation, but you said April Story NS is a good resin match to Dollclans and I was wondering if you had any pictures of Vezeto on that body? Do you think a Vezeto head might work on the April Story 65cm boy body? Any help would be useful. Also, I too would like to see a faceup for your Vezeto! Mine is blank as well, but I can't get him a faceup until I decide on a body, so I enjoy looking at everyone else's finished boys :)

    10. [MENTION=56413]zomjirate[/MENTION]: Hi! jump in! Vezeto needs (in my mind anyway) a pretty big body. Benkel looks very good on the AS senior body, but V just looks too big for the shoulders. all that nose perhaps.
      I'm like you. waiting to faceup Vezeto when he gets a body. I just can't deal with heavy bods like the Proud or Dollstown 18 which are great for the V head. also Loongsoul. (bought one for Benkel but it weighed a ton so I sold it)

      I'm on my way to the beach for a bit. will take a pic when I get back. :daisy

Currently I am looking at the Spiritdoll Herculean body as an option, and it looks great, but it weighs a ton! I am interested to see Vezeto on the April Story body, just out of curiosity.
      [MENTION=49815]Cyador[/MENTION] - Your Vezeto is amazing and I absolutely adore is faceup! Congrats on finally putting him together :) What size eclipse21 wig is he wearing? I want to get one from eclipse21 for my boy as well, but I don't really want to have to send the head for a custom wig.

    12. I got the information for my guys wig from someone of Flickr - and I ordered a Dollshe Hound head sized wig. Eclipes has one of those. The fit is pretty good, but it does better with a wigcap. And I did not want to send the head off either....
      And the wig itself is great!

      here's Vezeto on an April Story senior body in indirect sunlight. (he's just perched, not hooked) I think the head is too big. Benkel & Kien look fine on this bod.
      the resin match is very close to perfect.
      the hands are Granado normal, but....Granado just changed their normal, so it's anyone's guess if it will match now.

      I'm putting my Vezeto on a Dollmore Glamor Model body. the resin is way off, but he looks wonderful on it & it's not that heavy.
      there's no resin color my trusty airbrush can't fix! :wiggle

      I'll post this pic in the V body thread for fit & resin match.

    18. It is likely that the neck is too thick, but I can try it out sometime in the next two weeks when my Venitu arrives. But there are some that already have both the head and the body?

    20. I've tried it, and unless you like giraffes or are ready to mod heavily the head and body, I'd say it looks pretty terrible.
      The neck is too thick and too long. It would probably look pretty nice with a mod, but my Venitu needs his body xD
