It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. DollClans Discussion Part II

Mar 26, 2014

    1. So anybody gotten some jointed hands on the u-line body? I'm so nervous to order any, what if the color is too off, what is the ball doesn't sit right, what if the size is off?

I'm thinking my kien deserves a new look. I have a pair of vampire sd gals so maybe he should be a vampire hunter or a dr. Van Helsing. I also think he's make a great Howl of Howls moving castle, but that will definitely require me to make some customs clothing pieces.

    2. There are a few parts in here showing jointed hands that work well. Mine came from illusion spirit.

    3. Hello everyone! So I'm not sure if anyone has asked already but at this point I've exhausted all my resources. Does anyone have a Dollclans babe with the S-line body? If so clothing wise what size do you feel fits best? I went with a semi cheap suit on Ebay that was made for an EID but obviously its a bit large. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

    4. have you already try sd17 clothes? I think it's fit well ^^

    5. I have not only because the way his body is shaped he's super broad chested and shouldered. Nothing like Iplehouse's boys but he's a pretty big boy. And I always thought that SD17 size would be too small but I suppose I could try that. ^-^ Thanks for the suggestion!

    6. My rule of thumb is to check measurements and compare them to other dolls in the similar size range. SD17 works great for U-Line so it could very well be too small for S-Line, unless they're just taller U-lines.

    7. @Pinkypink56 I have S0line body. He wears EID clothes(from Iple), it fits very well. Same with Soom ID72 clothes (but S-line has preddy wider shoulders). SD17 - no way, S-line body is really big and tall.

New Year, new faceup, new photos! :D

    8. Ack! The knee of my U-line kien just cracked while I was undressing him! What do I do?

    9. That happened to me, too, skyealloway! I brought it up to DC and they said they'd work on fixing the problem on the prototype and going from there with me.

    10. Thank you for the advice! I'm surprised E.I.D clothes fit well. I bought clothes on Ebay designed for E.I.D's and it was too large for my boy.

    11. Were they for Superhero or for Model? Models would be slimmer.

    12. I'm going to have to assume Super Hero. It was just so large on him. Especially the pants and jacket. I definitely have to try Model size, hopefully I'll get lucky with that.

    13. This should help you!

    14. Thank you so very much! This is quite helpful! I'm browsing E.I.D Model clothes now!

    15. @Pinkypink56 yes, I use model size. Good luck with your boy! :D

    16. Thank you!

    17. That's good to know that I'm not the only one. Looking at it, I can tell that the upper and lower leg pieces do not sit flush inside the joint on this side. I think that means I have room to reinforce it with some epoxy putty without interfering with his joint movement. Wish me luck!

    18. I dunno... I tried sanding it down to take the pressure off to keep it from breaking more and that didn't help. The piece ended up breaking off completely. :/

    19. Well, I used "oaty fix it stick" aka home repair epoxy putty. I let it set for a day, then had to sand and sand and sand just to get his leg seated back in properly. Naturally, within minutes of reassembly his leg cracked back open. I'm crossing my fingers that the putty will reinforce the resin against further cracking, even though it didn't hold the existing crack together. There seems to be a sharp angle on his lower leg that puts a lot of pressure right on the cracked area when his leg bends. I'm not sure of sanding off that point would prevent this problem, or if instead it would make his leg unstable and make him unable to stand. :(. @ZennoSaji when you contacted doll clans did they seem like they would be willing to sell you a new leg piece? I suppose that's the next plan if this all goes terribly wrong.
