DollClans Discussion Part II

That is exactly my plan ^ ^
I ordered last month the Ringdoll 03 body (although I think it might be a little on the pink side comparing to Vezeto !)

 

u guys seen the teaser of DollClans upcoming dollie Rynx? he is Jaquers brother?

 

YES! I love his lips! But I'm a sucker for Jaquer's lips, so it makes sense. He looks quite devilish with that grin. Can't wait to see more!

 

Oh dear. Another interesting Dollclans sculpt. I must stay away, I don't need any more heads!

On a happy note - my June pre-order Wyper head has shipped! Yay!

and i cant wait to get to see the new sculpt in its full beauty ;D the smirk is already sucking me in and ive already got plans for a Vezeto head, oh noees xD

 

between the Kien-esque smirky mouth & the promise of another great, manly nose, I think I'm hooked already. my Vezeto doesn't even have a body yet. maybe this one can share my Benkel's. I'm starting an army!!! (a very peaceful one)

Just had the ransom note from Customs for my Wyper head - so I better pay up before they cut one of his ears off and send it me in an envelope.....

My Wyper head is here!

I'm honestly not too sure what I think about him at the moment..... He has a very much more feminine face than I'd expected - maybe it's the lashes? And absolutely none of the eyes I have fit him properly. And he needs a smaller wig cap. Ho hum. More shopping!

Resin match isn't too bad with Doll Leaves, just a bit darker. But the neck's quite gappy.

I'm going to have some lunch and then come back to him. Maybe I've just got too used to his old head, but I'm really not too sure this will work for his character. *sigh*

I'm afraid that after a day of looking at him and trying on different wigs and stuff I really can't like him. I want to like him (especially after waiting so long and so much effort to get him and find a body and stuff), but I just can't

 

humm.. I think it's the make-up, the sculpt is not very feminine... but I understand what you mean with your pictures..

 

yea i think the face-up makes him very feminine too, he is very dark around the eyes, i didnt even know he had teeth! lawl :P

rynx's full sculpt now?ouo i think he looks gorgeous, except im not too fond of his plump lips :P and (in my opinion) i honestly dont think the faceup did him much justice with the shadow between his eyes and his brow x)

 

Sylph7 I think he needs a heavier, more manly eyebrows to really bring out his manliness

 

Maybe. His face up is a bit darker and more gothy than the company photos. I think I've just discovered I don't like gothy so much as I thought I did. And maybe I don't like more realistic sculpts as much as I thought I did either?

My boyfriend thinks I've gone insane. I waited (actually very patiently!) for this head I really wanted to arrive and now that he's here I don't want it and can't wait for it to go. He can't see anything wrong about it and likes the more realistic much better than the old head that he called the "little space alien". I think I've got used to the little space alien and I want him back now

Oh well. File under "expensive mistakes" and move on!

 

Wow Rynx's head is way too small for the S line body.
Sylphe, have you looked at other face ups on the same sculpt? What was it that attracted you to it in the first place? That faceup is a little flamboyant, and I like the goth look.

 

Actually when I first saw Wyper I couldn't find many owner photos at all - and I tried very hard to research as much as possible before I ordered, he didn't seem to be around much. I really liked the sculpt and the different face ups on the Dollclans site. It was only in the last few weeks when I saw a few more owner pics that I started to wonder if I might have made a mistake and I didn't like him so much as I thought. Unfortunately when I opened the box I discovered he's just not what I want. It's difficult to decide what it is exactly that I don't like, because I do like the photos I've taken of his head. He's just.... wrong.

I really don't like Rynx much. That's the first Dollclans sculpt I haven't liked from their photos. (Or maybe I'm just having a little allergic reaction at the moment! )

 

Actually when i first saw my python i also fell out of love with it...and i wondered is it i made the wrong decision buying him..i bought him second hand from my friend!! But after leaving his head around for awhile i looked for the right wig and clothes and when it finally arrived....

It fits him so much and i fell back in love with him...sometimes i feel u needa put him on a body with the right clothes and right wig to full bring out what u fell in love with.....
Don't be discouraged and get rid of him right away....give him a chance~ take yr time~ but if after a long time and you still don't feel anything then i will advice you to put him up for adoption... Hope you don't mind me putting ny opinion on this..

This is my python on my akagidoll body...his body has yet to arrive...gahhh!! Hate waiting!!
