Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. Heya CCU, thanks for the pix (and I loved the silly comments too). :lol: On an interesting note, when I was out at the Volks Inc (English) site, looking for the AE outfits, I noticed that they list the two new DDdy body types as "Normal" and "Shapely". Problem is, since they both boast massive cleavage, :o which one is suppose to be "Normal"? *_* Now that Ryomou is finished cosplaying for a bit, I should do comparison shots of the two (her and Kanu) of them together.

      I have a PVC figure with Kanu dressed in loli, crouching, while holding her Halberd, so I am bound and determined to get something lolita on her for a Valentine's day meet-up that bound to happen sometime in February.

    11. If the v-retailers get her, then wouldn't VolksUSA have them too, and if so, do they ship to Canada?

      If not, then perhaps you could order her directly from the Volks Inc site. If they make it over here, then there's no problem with copyrights. It would be a little more costly than if you could get it here, but less expensive than having to go through a shopping service.

      If she's not what you want, then you know not to get her. I'm sure Volks isn't going to ship a seagoing container full of them, so the ones that do make it over here will sell out quickly. I was talking with the manager at VolksUSA and telling her to have the company think about releasing a DDdy version of Aoi and Yukino. They certainly would cost less that one based off an anime/manga/game, with no licensing fees.

      I know that I would be interested in her. I have a friend in Japan who was looking into her availability. Her open mouth is just too cute, and reminds me of a lot of my PVC figures.

      Let the Dollfie Dream Dynamite revolution begin... :mwahaha

    12. Well, I sent Rochelle my thoughts. She replied quickly, sweet as usual.

      The photo differences really confirmed to me that I will pick one up sometime in the future. But just not now. A standard edition would be great, but I'm not holding my breath. I think it will get the same treatment as SD16: limited only. Maybe that will change, but I don't think for a couple of years.

      I'm pretty pessimistic about release schedules and such, as I'm sure is the bunch of potential SD16 buyers just waiting for that standard edition...

      Mr. Postman, agreed! Some volks original character dolls with DDDy body would be heaven sent, even if they were limiteds. They would be cheaper, and easier to get <3

      Oh btw, maybe that's obvious stuff, but her wig is soooooooooo long (down to her feet then you can roll it around her ankles 3 times or something) so it gets tangled very easily. And be carefull with the red glove things, I found out they might stain on the long run. So yeah, you have been warned.... hehe.

    20. Yes, we have to. I think this is a very positive step on the part of Volks, on behalf of all of us DD owners. I remember the first DD that I bought at Tenshi No Sumika, the dolls were shoved in the back corner, alone with the re-stringing tools and doll stands. On my last visit, they've moved them to one of the lower shelves, just across from where the FCS display is.

      Not to worry, now that I have that Flickr account, I have no excuses not to post photos up here in the forum. I'm working on doing a side-by-side comparison photos of the two DDdys, like you did with your Kanu and Shino. Moe shots of the two girls together? Hmm, I do have a friend who will probably be hosting a yuri panel at GoGaDoll. I'm sure he could always use a few extra shots for his program... ;)

      Well, the Kanu/Loli idea is not a fresh idea of mine. I actually have this PVC figure of her (see below for the "stock" photo of her), that I'm basing the idea off of. The main problem I see with it is, finding a dress that will fit her. *_* We shall wait and see...
