Hi there I'm new to DoA and dolls... I have a little bunch of cuties started. My first new-from-the-box doll is Demeter, a white skin Fuyumi! I just got her last week as an amazing surprise. I love her face, and the feel and glow of new resin. I was wondering, did your stock faceup come with ridiculous lashes? Because mine did o_O I have lots to learn about customizing still, and I'm looking forward to making lots of outfits and costumes for Demeter. Sorry for the huge delay everyone, but the rain finally cleared and I took advantage of the sunny day to photograph my friend's Doll Love Youyou (Yoyo). Unfortunately, I don't have any clothes for her since she is not my doll and just arrived with my doll in the same shipping box, so I threw on an animal hoodie that one of my smaller boy dolls wears. Enjoy!

I just stumbled onto this thread looking for photos of yuyu, and you guys have helped out a lot already! I'm completely smitten by yoyo, and if luck is in my favor, I'll be able to put one on layaway in the next couple weeks! But before I do, I was wondering if anyone might have photos of the pink resin and the white resin next to each other? I have a doll love msd in pink skin, and it would be my first new white skin and I want to make sure it is not to blindingly white if I choose that route.
One other question, where did you purchase your dolls from? The reason I ask is YouYou isn't even on the Doll Love site and Mint On Card doesn't have any of them stocked.
Princess sarah- Well, I put a yoyo on layaway on the minoncardinc site! And right now they have an event so you can get a free head. As for getting one already in stock, I think that may be difficult. most bjd's aren't really in stock and have to be preordered.

well sara, besides a couple I know what you mean ^^ I don't see many dark haired yoyo's. So I took my (terrible) editing skills and came up with this: Maybe this will help the visual a bit? I think darker hair would look really cute!

Sorry for the double post, but what size eyes do you guys have for your darlings? I have 14mm in Echo right now, but I'm wondering if 12mm would be better, any suggestions?
I got my tiny youyou in the other day! I'm really happy with her xD moc accidentally gave me a default faceup so I'll change that when I have time (I have a couple others that need a new one) I've named her Allison, or Alice for short ^_^ I think someone here was wondering what the youyou looked like with dark hair and I tried that photoshop, so maybe this will be more help ^^
I am expecting my Doll Love girl to arrive this Tuesday :-) She is (what seems to be) everyone's favorite sculpt: YoYo! I love Fuyumi, too but YoYo has been my favorite for a long time and I can't wait for her to get here!! YoYo spam???
