Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     3. They were descendants of the killers of the big-doll sculptor. The police man was the descendant of the killer of girl that the big-doll sculpter liked.

      There wasn't really a selection criterion. As I remember, there was an ad on the internet for models/photographer for a new bjd sculpt. All they had to do was apply. (Maybe it was emailed to them so they couldn't really refuse the opportunity.)

I got my dvd copy of THE DOLL MASTER off of EBay and when I finally figured out how to turn on the English subtitles- it was great- and if you wonder about whether to get the movie or not- it comes in a 2 disc edition ANNNND--- the 2nd disc is nothing but extras- deleted scenes and 2 special features allllll about the ball joint dolls they have in the movie! The only downside is that I couldn't get English subtitles on the extras disc, BUT- all the eye candy closeups and doll stuff- at the premiere and all are worth it! I definitely reccommend this item- and you can find affordable copies on Ebay- I did and I was so glad it was available with English subtitles and work on any region dvd player! YAY!!!!!!!!!

    11. Hi everybody, I hope that there is no other topic like the one I'm doing now, I really want to share this!!!

      Yesterday night, my sister rented a korean horror film from our local video club! The name of the movei was The Doll Master, at first my sister thought another horror movie, we really like japaneese and korean horror films but something inside me was telling me that it wasn't just that about it!!!And I was right!!!

      It wasn't just an ordinary horror film, it was a film filled with BJDS!!!!!!!

      I drooled all over the screen, I was pausing the movie every 5 minutes (my sister and mother went nuts!!! ^^;;; )

      This is the story!!! Once there was a couple who were very in love with each other, so in love that the boyfriend made a doll who looked excactly as his girlfriend (life size) but the girlfriend was killed by some people and then they accused her boyfriend for her murder and killed him too and then the doll haunted the place and seeked for revenge for the death of the man who created her and loved her as much as his real girlfriend! That happened a long ago and was something like a legend. The movie begins with 5 people gathering in an old mansion which belongs to a doll maker (who makes bjds!!!) to model for dolls, the doll maker will use them as models to create new dolls,but strange things begin to happen in there and you'll see the rest in the movie!!! If you whatch the whole movie, there is a "message" for all the ones who keep selling their dolls all the time, it's really funny:lol: !!!

      The thing is that the whole movie is filled up with bjds, there are bjds in every scene almost, I think I recognised a luts doll!!!There was a large hall with a huge exhibiton of bjds too:drool !I got soooo excited because I didn't know anything about it!!! My sister and mom wouldn't believe it either!!! I didn't get scared at all (was watching the dolls all the time ) my sister though, doesn't want to see my bjds ever again!!!!:lol:

      I think it's a movie made for all as bjd lovers, what do you think? Have you watched this movie? It's a new release here in Greece in our video stores.I'm looking for some making the film videos since the greek dvd didn't have any!

    15. ^_^ The Doll Master came out a while ago - I think a year or maybe 2 years now. Yes, it's based around BJD - lots of pretty dolls in it! There are I think more threads hanging around on the board some place about the movie and the time during it's release - I think Domuya had a special event at the screening and I remember seeing the meet pics.

      The dolls in the movie are not Luts dolls, but Custom House dolls. The CH doll 'St Mina' was made specifically for this movie (to look like the actress), as was St Damien, the boy doll.

    20. Yea I got this film... I bought the original versionas the UK version has bits cut out.. just a warning.. its a great film.... then cost me buying the Mina doll lol for my daughter as she fell in love with her...

      Mich... if u read this ur more than welcome to come round one day and watch it... well worth it...

      and yea been out a few years.. as a good while back I had a dollmeet in my night club and we played it on the huge screen... in the dance area.. was brill fun.. lights off... pulled all the sofas over and me my mates and out dolls watched it... great fun...

      also with the original version not sure if u get it with the UK released one. you get 2 DVD's one showing the making... also lots about the dolls.. etc etc


      Just to add there will be loads of threads here on DoA about it... u should try a search..
