1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. Dollmaster movie

Aug 23, 2004

    1. I agree with Pyrope, I found it really sad... The story to me, was left really openly. It didn't round off too well.

It's a nice story though, I picked up the DVD at my local HMV ^^ It's worth watching but the large dolls scared me. To me they looked like the dolls we burn for people's funerals ^^" I found the making more interesting than the actual movie itself. The idea is definately one that is interesting.

    2. I watched it on Monday with my friend, and for some reason we found it rather funny(we find a lot of horror movies funny), but we also thought it was a bit saddening in parts(particularly involving Mina), and freaky.. Like the dolls holding the mirror, lights, toilet :?

    3. I picked up dollmaster a few months ago and I have loved ever min of it. most of my friends say its good I don't think any of them like it as much as i did. I will say this too My shiwoo as much as i love him is a big baby and was scard of this movie as well as dead silents...XD I mean a doll afraid of dolls that kinda sad but we love him anyway.

If it helps The translation at least this is what a friend of mine mom told me who is from korea and wanted to watch it because she rarely can find movies in koren around here.

She said the parts that they are talking about where mrs Iam dies and the dolls starte attacking is what they are saying at the end of the movie. Iono why my Dvd mess up and shows this as the old man and the girl are gettign out of the house but apperetly its like this on most dvd's. I hope that helps.

    4. This movie was so unbelievable sad T_T POOR mina ;~;''' I watched it with my best friend... She HATES dolls  She was already very afraid of my dolls before... But now? xDDD I said "Now I love them even more. You see, if you are nice to your dolls, they will protect you. Just don't make them angry!" x'D

I asked in another thread for a doll:

Does anyone know her? A friend of mine and me are curious about who she is T_T

... Btw I would LOVE life sized dolls but only if they look as pretty as our "smaller" ones :)

    5. I can't even find the movie on limewire..... Sadness

    6. hey i just watched the movie and i have a question? We're they setting the dolls on fire at the end?

oh and i found the movie here.(Right after i bought it to!)

      http://www.crunchyroll.com/showmedia?id=16931

      It's the whole movie!

    7. Its a great film, saw it yonks ago.. but just for info if you buy it in the UK, some of the DVD's have scenes removed/edited out,its only a total of a few minutes, but they def arnt there a friend bought it from HMV and she had seen mine and told me about this..

    8. oh it was a united stated seller one ebay...what is def?
And also whitch dvd comes with the second disc? Or do all copies come with a second disc?
witch scense get cut out? i think there we're cut out one the internet version...

    9. HMV is a chain of store in the UK that sell games/music/DVD's etc and apparently scenes were deleted because of censoring, but ive never read anything confirming this. its only a small amount and wont spoil the film.

all copies should have the 2 discs as far as I know.

I bought mine from Korea, which is why the scenes were not deleted.

      def = definite

    10. Awsome! (Yeah i told my brother he has to watch it with me when it get's here...with all the resin family of course:))

Do you know what the movie is rated (My brother gussed R, But i think it;s PG-13)

    11. I saw this movie online somewhere, it's really good. I actually watched it with one of my dolls haha. Hopefully it won't give him any ideas!

    12. Probably R, I just saw it online;)

    13. I love Dollmaster!

    14. I just watched it and I simply LOVE this movie. First horror film I ever really loved at all. :XD:
I found it very sad though. Poor Mina. :( Makes me appreciate my dolls even more than before- it was such a touching film, especially towards the end with the childhood flashback.

    15. We watched it during a dollmeet. I was like holding a friend's doll cause he was so sad looking, but during that scene where she drops Mina out the window, we're all like NO! We knew someone was there to catch it, but we're like "Dumb kid!"

    16. spoilers below

I pretty much cringed at all the dollie abuse >__<
I wonder if all the bjd's were loaned to the movie or if they had to pay for them all or what? Makes me wonder if a few of them were fakes and not real resin, especially during the bonfire.

    17. >.<

I neeeeeeeeeeeed to watch this, it sounds awesome.

      I love horror movies.

      :3

    18. Just watched the movie - its pretty good and so nice to see some of the beautifful dolls and thier outfits.

    19. I bet during the bonfire they were fakes. Or at least ruined parts they couldn't use to begin with. And underneath, was just stuff to burn, like wood or trash.

    20. *nod* They'd be nuts to burn away all that valuable resin o-o
