Dollmore Judith Girls discussion part 1

well I can't buy at this time anyway as I just bought some dolls, lol. But maybe one day they will give us a basic. My fingers are crossed!

*.* The new judith girls are absolutely stunning!!!! I really love Urd her soft looking face up is so sweet!!!
Im still a lil worried about pale skin dolls though >.< wouldn't be fun to clean them all the time~

So im safe and gonna stick to my zinna black Charnette ;3 i just finshed making her a outfit today~

 

Wow, that outfit is awesome, KawaiiTsu! I really wish I could sew so well! I really want to get sewing again but just can't find the time! Looks really pro!

 

Would anyone be interested in a Judith girl only swap?

I have a hard time doing other swaps cause the only doll I have is a Judith. And then the chest and bum are too big for other MSDs. xD

They would charge for that, as it would be a custom face-up. But small things, like removing a mole or something they wont charge for. The wig is part of the fullset, if you wanted another one you would have to add it to your order.

She stands a bit odd, with her chest pushed waaay out front. xD And her bum is huuuuge, so it's hard to find good pants.

I don't know of any patterns. I just have a white colored pencil, I put the fabric over her and draw the pattern, then cut it out and sew it together. Dollmore will make any outfit you purchase fit her body though if you ask. So if you like say an SD clothing, send them an email about it, and they are usually happy to help you.

SD sided leggings will fit though, although they are a little long. And just the stretchy kind.

 

That is a well kept secret! I had no idea you could do this, and I'd venture to say most people don't know this either! WOW!

There's a few things I want in Judith size, but they are like $100 so there's no way I'm gonna buy it. o____o

Does anyone think that this doll might ever become a regular option?

 

Nathicles; Don't get me wrong, I don't want to turn you off of them. They are amazing dolls.

The posture is just more of a "sexy" posture. So when you try to take pictures of them standing sideways, it looks a little off balance.



But then when you are trying to make them look sexy, the back arch helps, and it's a huge plus. As long as you aren't looking up their nose like I just did. xD



And they are totally not that shiny, it's just getting dark here and I had to use the flash. They actually have a really nice texture. I've felt other dolls that feel very plastic-ie and the Judiths have more of a matte texture to them. That's why I ordered a second one. o3o

 

She looks like she might just be strung a bit tight and is getting pulled backwards? Maybe sueding can help? She has a lot of joints which can make a doll very flexible but often "kicky" which is the best word I can come up with though we're not talking about the legs here ;-)

Ingie; Yeah, I restrung her, but I didn't have any extra elastic so I had to reuse what was there, and it was waaaaaay too short. I'm going to get more string, but I am waiting for my Skuld to come in, in case she needs longer string too. Then I can just do them both at the same time.

But I think that's just how their bodies are sculpted anyway. Her legs kind of naturally sit backwards. xD

You're almost there though, you just need 40 posts and an account that is older than 25 days.

The markets good though. Sometimes you just get blank dolls, but sometimes you get ones that come with a ton of clothing and/or wigs. So you can start off with a few outfits.
