Dollmore Judith Girls discussion part 1

Yep.

They all just have almost the same make-up. I like the Skuld's though, it's pretty cute. And the Belldandy is cute too.

 

I like the Make up from Belldandy and Skuld, too. So it was hard in the end to decide wich of them I buy.
Kielin, I hope you will post a lot of pictures of your Skuld. If she is still available maybe I buy her as company for my Cassandra (Belldandy)? Like i said to a friend: on doll per year. Ha ha!

 

Well, I definitely don't buy 1 doll a year. xD I bought Aubreigh Dec. 05 and I bought Natashah Dec. 26. I want to buy a Dikadoll head next, but I ran out of money. xP

The Skuld seems to be selling the quickest, so I don't know. But yeah, she'll have a lot of pictures. xD

 

Yes. On Doll per year is not very realistic.
I will see. If she is still available when I have money then it should be if not it shouldn´t be.
Can absoultly not leave my cats starving because of BJDs.

 

Well, they are all pretty. I think Urd would be pretty if she had black/brown/dark color eyelashes instead of white. I think the white is the only thing that throws her off. o.o

But I don't have enough for all 3. xD

 

Yes, I totally agree with you. In both points: eyelashes and money. Since I just got my driving license.In the end it was hard to decide but somehow I managed because I didn´t like the red line under Skulds eye. Now I´m not so sure about it anymore.

 

Oh, just so you know, Dollmore sells chording, if Skuld hasn't shipped yet, you might want to add some to your order??

I need to recouperate after a buying spree I just had, so I can't get a Judith for a long while anyway. So I'm good for waiting to see what they come up with next

 

Urd's white eyelashes are actually what convinced me to adopt her... she seems so ghostly... and she appears to be the most smirky Judith to date. ^_^

I'm not quite sure about her outfit, though... I prefer Skuld's teal dress. I was tempted by Skuld as a whole, too, but in my mind, her eyebrow color directed her towards certain wig colors and away from others.

I can't wait to see my little Urd! Please keep posting pictures of Judith~ She's so inspiring!

 

Naylin; You just have to decide if it's really bugging you. I almost talked myself out of Aubreigh cause I kept telling myself I didn't like her tiny nose. But I decided it didn't bother me that much and got her. And in real life, it's not a problem. It was just certain camera angle making it look a bit funny.

IngieBee; I thought of that. I really don't have any money. But I thought I would wait and see if Joann's had it Tuesday, and if they don't then seeing if they'll tack it on to my order. I just super hope Joann's has it in case Natashah needs it too. >< Or any other doll I get in the future.

Lochness; You could probably have asked to get different eyebrows. I'm supposed to be having her mole removed.

I think she'd probably look good blonde though. So I made her a blonde synthetic wig.

Aubreigh's good though cause her eyebrows are black. I've tried a TON of different wigs on her and they all look good with it.

 

Kielin, I have seen it at Joannes before! I need to see if I can find it too! I'm so forgetful!

Lochness, wait... when did you adopt her? From Dollmore or the Marketplace? Either way, Congratulations!!! I hope I can get a Judith in the future, but the list is so long! Her body looks so amazing though and I'd really love to have her!

 

A few people said they've seen it at Joann's before, so that's why I went. Meanie company took out the elastic section though. x.x

 

Kielin: I didn't even think about asking for the eyebrow change! ^_^;; I don't regret my choice, though: I would've loved Skuld, since no one at home can play a mysterious temptress, but Urd's eerie presence is truly irresistible for me!

I stared at the pics of those 3 girls so much before finally making my mind! They all appealed to me in one way or another. I knew I wanted a Judith since the first ones came out, but whenever a new batch appeared, I always hesitated until they they were all sold... until now!

IngieBee: I ordered from Dollmore at the beginning of January! ^_^ Now, although it's a bit early, I started stalking their website, hoping for a shipping notice...

 

I can totaly understand you Lochness. I ordered my Judith also in January and already check the homepage to often. Sooner or later I see me writing them a mail. Should be more patient but she is my first doll.

 

Lochness; I'd probably get all of them if money was no issue. My only worry is that I'm going to end up with a huge family of Judiths. They can't all be twins. xD

I think they are supposed to email you with the tracking number when it ships.

Annnnd, Joann's totally killed me today. They got the elastic in, but it's waaaaay too thin. T_T But the guy at the Hobby store told me that our hardware store has some. So I gotta try there soon. @______@

 

Oh yes, if I had the koney, I would also buy all three. Someday we should meet and make a picture of all three together.

 

Oh wow, I hope you all get your girls soon! Dollmore was quick with my orders in the past, but this time of year seems to put all the doll makers behind schedual :P Ugh! I'm waiting for dollies too, and it has only been a month for one x.x

It's just kind of bummer that the outfits are limited too. I'd love to even just get all the outfits and one doll.

I kind of want the body separate too. I'm going to try the to-be-ordered-still Dikadoll Rena Sleeping head on Aubreigh's body when I get it. (Since I'm going to use her for making wigs, cause she isn't going to have a face-up so I wont have to take off the velcro to make them since she wont be wearing any wigs. D: ) I'd love to get a different dollmore body for the Rena head, but the only one of the same size looks like a child. x.x

Ingie; It does seem to put them behind, but I ordered after Christmas, so the only other thing would have been the new year, and that really doesn't seem like it would make them THAT behind.

 

Yah. I feel for ya! I'm already itching for my orders and I haven't waited very long yet!

The dollmore kid girl bodies at least have nice hips and bums, so I do see my two girls as flat chested young adults!. (which is the body type I wish I had had as a young adult!). But yah, I can understand if you don't like them so much :-)

 

I couldn't resist anymore and asked Dollmore for an approximate shipping date. They told me my package would be sent around the 2nd or 3rd week of March, so I guess I'll have to be a little more patient... In case it helps anyone, I paid on January 4th.

I usually don't ask questions unless something's wrong, but last I ordered from Dollmore, they mixed up my order with somebody else's and thought I hadn't paid the full amount, so they held up my stuff uselessly. I wanted to avoid a similar case with my poor Urd...

 

IngieBee; They just look like kids, and usually I want them to look like an adult, unless they are Yo sized or smaller. xD

Lochness; Oooh, I have hope that mine will ship in the next week or two then. >w<

I just hope all this time didn't make them forget to take the mole off, or worse yet, mark the package wrong for customs. D: I do not want to get charged because they marked it as a "collectible" or something stupid like that.
