Dollmore Judith Girls discussion part 1

I think they are using a new resin. My skuld feels way different than my gossip. The skuld feels a lot nicer, more of a matte texture.

 

This is so incredibly weird.

I went to put on the clothes I made for Natashah on Aubreigh. And they are too big! But they fit fine on Aubreigh. Even the wig I made on Aubreigh for Natashah is too big cause Natashah's head is like 1/2 in smaller. Meanwhile Aubreigh is popping out of Natashah's clothing. o___o And they are the same sculpt!

After close inspection, there are markings and crevices that are in Aubreigh's head that aren't in Natashah's head, Natashah's head is also thicker than Aubreigh's. So I don't know if they re-sculpted it, or maybe cast it off one of the older Judiths, or what... Quite odd.

 

Has anyone made their Judith tan yet?

I've been wanting to see that....

 

I just seen the new Judith's! I have to say it felt weird seeing them in different skin tones but i am madly in love with them. I also noticed they are a bit bigger only 5cm but my gossip black has different measurements? I really wish i could get Midnight a sister!

 

Actually the new ones are smaller. Dollmore just seems to not be able to measure right. oO

 

I rather like the new dark-skinned Amaranth... I gotta admit, Judiths have a bad habit of being tempting... >_<;

Note, the only reason Natashah is taller is because she has Aubreigh's huge high heeled feet on. Otherwise she is smaller, you can even tell she's a bit thinner.

 

I was sanding Aubreigh earlier and found that one of her calves got cracked when she fell the other day! T.T

 

Wow i never realised she was smaller? i also never noticed she had pale skin either? I really need to wear my glasses when drooling on dollmore

Do you find Natashah is easier to pose then? I find Midnight (gossip black) was quite temperamental till a friend who has many bjd's helped me tighten her strings and she has the odd moment of being a diva but is a lot better now. Also i see you went with the heeled feet, i am currently deciding on getting Midnight a pair. It's nice to actually see them on in person other than just stock feet!

I have to say i am loving all the Judith picks and i really would love a second one it's just raising enough and justifying the price but i absolutely adore the Judith dolls.

 

Yeah, she's a bit smaller. Her head is a whole half inch smaller around then Aubreigh's! It's odd.

Aubreigh is normal skin and Natashah is a white skin, I didn't think they'd be too much of a difference cause Aubreigh is pretty pale, but boooooooooy is Natashah WHITE. I think she might have yellowed a tiny bit already from all the outdoors cause she doesn't seem quite as blinding as she was originally.

Natashah is easier to pose. They seem to have changed resins in between, Aubreigh is very very smooth, where Natashah has a lot of 'tooth' to her. I think it helps her joints stick better. Both are sueded, but Aubreigh's legs still pull up into her body all the time. Now that her leg is cracked I'm going to loosen her a lot so it doesn't get worse.

The heeled feet are very nice. Those actually came with Aubreigh, though they were broken when I got them. >< My boyfriend's dad just fixed them for me so I've been using them a lot.

I was planning on having at least 4 Judith's, they are making it hard though when they keep raising the price like this. Dx

 

So they have changed her head too? I was looking at your pictures and thinking that maybe i was seeing things? I also noticed the thinner looking legs, Midnight does have quite chunky legs and is a bit of pain when it comes to leggins, trousers and even skirts due to her hips, bum and legs.

I have to say Natashah made Aubreigh look quite darker to me, i wasn't sure if that was my screen or my eyes playing tricks with me. I personally thought Midnight was quite pale in person but i like her skin tone. Some colours do wash her out but i try to get colours to make her look better. I never realised that the the newer ones would be paler or have new resin or measurements. I guess having only one bjd and only having had her a year makes me still a newbie in it all really. I have been tempted to sued Midnight but part of me is scared to damage her as i am as clumsy as they come. Midnight loves to kick her legs up in the air or fling forwards haha!

I am sorry to hear Aubreigh's legs are damaged. I would cry if something happened to Midnight as she is my little resin baby. I am so precious with her as i know it would cost me a fortune to replace her body etc! I hope you can fix or save her.

I keep looking at the heeled feet thinking Midnight needs them but i have trouble finding shoes that i want for Midnight. Seeing them in person really makes me want them for her. She has quite big feet and i love the dainty look of the heeled feet.

I would really love the Rouge Judith and i was drooling at one for sale on here but i have to sell on older dolls i used to collect to fund her. I have had far to many people flake on me so i haven't had the chance to go after her. I would love one of each style but i would need to find a black market or win the lottery for that. Midnight was the first bjd that made me want to buy her instantly! I keep looking at others to go with her but i think it will have to be another Judith when i can afford or justify another to my partner :P

 

Yeah. Natashah is baggy in everything I make on Aubreigh. @.@ I just put Aubreigh back together so I will take measurements.

Aubreigh just got sanded, so she is a little paler now, but still much darker then Natashah. Just paler then other normal skin.

If you suede, make sure not to do the knee joints, there is a lock there that even with just a little bit will not lock anymore then they can't stand. @.@

I put some super glue on the inside and outside of it, and I loosened her leg strings A LOT, so hopefully it wont get any worse. If it gets any worse I suppose I could epoxy it and then do a scar mod over it. Since she seems like the clumsy type. BUT THEN, she was on Natashah's body yesterday so I could make a wig while hers was not together, and the body pull an Aubreigh and spontaneously curled into a little ball when I was pinning a pair of pants I was making, and she cracked her nose. Dx WTF, seriously, she seems to be getting hurt constantly lately. >< I was even holding onto her and she jumped out of my hands.

Yep. I was going to get both of these in a few colors, the MSD size is just about the right size for them.

If you just want a tan one, if she does sell out that quick, I'm sure they'll make more of them.

I suggested they make a tan belly dancer one, and then they said that might be cool and came out with this tan one. So maybe they will come out with a cute belly dancer set soon.

I also suggested a Model Doll F sized Judith... Lets hope they use both my suggestions.

 

But I want that outfit too! And HOW do you guys know how many are left? I don't see anything that tells you. ;0;
