Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023.     1. I'll be barging in with a probably idiotic question - I am thinking of getting Judith Maxima, but the only problem I have is that she is supposed to wear 7/8 wigs according to Dollmore... in this thread I've read that some people got her in 6/7 wigs and that 7/8 was a bit too big. So is she able to wear 6/7 wigs? That is currently the main point that will either make me get her or not XD

    2. If they are stretchy enough, yes.
      If they have a very firm cap then they will not fit.

      Judith heads measure about 7.25-7.5 inches around.

    3. Roterwolkenvogel, my Judith (hybrid) wears 6/7. Right now she's wearing a Monique London and I've tried a couple of Leekeworld wigs without problem. However, she's not wearing a wig cap. One 6/7 I have that doesn't fit is a Crobi - but it's tight on my LTF.....

    4. Thanks guys! Now I am truly tempted to get her... I've been searching high and low for a tan girl to use as the human part of my LUTS Yul Satyresse body and so far she's winning that race

    5. Hmm, I've only tried 7/8 wigs on my Judiths. There is such variation in fit within each wig size that when one doesn't fit I just toss it back in the box and try another. I'm finding that Iplehouse 7/8 wigs fit very well, probably because they have no stretch. The dolls all come with a wig cap, which helps keep wigs on.

    6. Yeah, they come with 7-8, but I've used a few 6-7 on them (without the silicone wig cap) and they can fit if they are stretchy enough. Monique wigs tend to be on the stretchy side.
      But if you were to get say an alpaca wig, they tend to be snug so you would need bigger.

      Hope you decide soon, sounds exciting. :)

    7. Sorry to change the subject, but I made a corset top for Alida (Suntan Maxima). The pattern still needs tweaking--or I need to rethink how I deal with the seams inside the cups because it came out looking a bit lumpy. It's my first experience of drafting a pattern for her. I wasn't expecting to come up with something she could actually wear!

    9. Thanks! Except for the pintucks I had to sew it all by hand. The pieces were too small--my machine would have chewed them to bits.

      I posted a couple more pics in the photo thread.

    10. Hey does anyone know if a Zinna head can fit on a MNF body by chance? Off hand I'd say no, but I would love to see (if anyone has MNF with no neck key laying around XD....not likely)

    11. I don't know if they will fit (as much trouble as I had getting her head on my FMD body, I can't even think about removing it), [MENTION=26466]VampireAngel13[/MENTION], but the skin tone is completely off. Zinna is pinky normal as opposed to MNF yellower normal.

    12. Ok so I can't weigh in on color match because Nemesis is suntanned skin. But I tried her on my MNF boy body and the fit is OK. Not exactly seamless but definitely functional. I will note that it is a boy body and I am not sure it would be the same fit exactly as the girl body, however if the girl neck is slightly smaller it may be an even better fit.

    13. yeah I'm not worried about color....and the newer FL I have gotten in the last two years is really pale pink, so it might not be much of an issue (tho my girl's head is over a year old, so she's yellowed....still not worried)

      ack that's perfect!! I actually have no idea if the necks differ on the boys and girls, but I can check when I get home (I have boys, my friend has girls). Thank you!!

      I'm happy to have this as an option. I might just go on and get her another Judith body (or she can have her body back and the new body will go to the other head) but for height purposes, I kind of want MNF.

    18. I think the price reflects the textured scarring. She's not quite my cup of tea.

      Their caveat made me laugh:
      *Photo of this doll is very horrible.

    19. Has anyone noticed that the new Dollpire Kid Girl Roo (Definition of Hazy) is on the Judith body? They list her height as 43.5cm. I wonder if that's a mistake? Judith Girls are 44.5cm. She has the heel feet, so that can't account for the difference.

    20. Two of my girls went to a doll meet-up yesterday, the first time for Arasa Blue and second time for Maxima Suntan. Here is Zora, my Arasa Blue Zinna, with Timofey, a Dollpire Kid Shiloh.
