1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Dollmore Judith Girls discussion part 1

Dec 31, 2010

    1. Wake up, thread!

I made Maxima Suntan Zinna a denim suit, which she modeled at the same meet-up pictured above. (And wouldn't you know, we lost the bottom jacket button the minute we got there.) I used a pattern called Urban Beat for DeeAnna Denton from Designs by Jude. It was a perfect fit with no adjustments needed at all. Makes me wish I had bought more patterns while they were on sale for half price!

Dollmore has released two new ballerinas: a Zinna and a Tara.

    2. I was just about to post about those. I hadn't checked the site for a while and saw all these new Judiths. <3

I kind of want to get this one, Dollmore.net :: Everything for Doll & more
But I also don't want to pay $450 + ship and get no clothes.
I was bummed enough when my Amaranths didn't have shoes.

    3. Hey, @Kielin welcome back!

That's a lot of money for some Zombie wounds and bloodied gauze.
Do you suppose Dollmore would respond to requests for more fashions for Judiths? They had one outfit, which sold out. I sold my Suntan Maxima's full set, so if I don't sew for her she has nothing to wear.
Arasa Blue is sold out. I'm glad I got one before they were gone.
I wish they'd offer a new Tara (besides the ballerina).

    4. I've asked them many times before, they said ones that come with the doll, but I could pick anything from the store and get it custom made. For an extra fee of course.

So you could get like the other outfits and clothes from Dollmore in Judith size, but its almost twice as much.

    5. Yikes!:ablink: For twice as much I'll make my own.

    6. Yup, pretty much.

Also, depending on the item, you can get the SD stuff and take it in.
Like this one is this dress. I wasn't sure if I was going to want to put it on another doll later, so I just pinned the back smaller with safety pins on the inside. Besides being a bit long (which was fixed when I got the hoops to go under it), you couldn't tell it wasn't made for her.

But their bust is so large that it tends to be a bit loose, and you just need to take the waist in.
If you bought non-Dollmore clothes on the MP here, and got Slim SD stuff, it would probably need even less taking in.

    7. Wow, I'd never guess that dress wasn't her size to begin with. I don't know that I would buy SD stuff for her but it sure makes me think twice about some of the clothes I was going to list on the marketplace.

    8. It would depend on the style of the garment for sure. But can be done.

    9. Wake up, thread!

My Suntan Zinna got a new wig. It's a LeekeWorld Art Wig called Chloe, size 7-8, which she wears with a wig cap. So far, of all the wig colors I've tried on her, I like this one best with her dark skin and raccoon-like eye makeup. She's wearing a JID size sweater from Iplehouse. It's a little large but overall emphasizes her curves in a good way.

    10. Nice wig, @vermont chick. I have yet to find a wig that my Judith will accept.....

    11. I know, right? They're wicked fussy girls. I've gone through every black wig I own, including the one she came with, plus various fantasy colors. Most of them came off within a day or two. So far she loves this one. We'll see how long that lasts...

    12. Mine just has the original black wig on. Cause I'm lazy. lol

    13. @vermont chick : this wig suits her very well, the color is just perfect with her complexion and her makeup !

    14. Thanks, @luxatica. It's been almost 3 weeks and she's still wearing it, so I think it's a keeper.

    15. It does look super good on her. <3

    16. Oh my goodness, she's super beautiful!

    17. Thanks Kielin!

    18. Which one is she?

And what is that pretty outfit?
It looks kind of Doll Heart to me, but I know their MSD stuff doesn't fit.

    19. @stellarphenomena I also want to know which one she is. It looks a little like the ballerina kid face-up, plus she has the Dollpire hands. And I love the outfit. Agree with @Kielin that it looks like Doll Heart, but I've seen that diamond patterned fabric on other sites, too.
