You are both right, the dress she is wearing is from Dollheart. It fits, no problem! Of course everything is very tight around the bust. It's from the MD-000177 Alice in Wonderland Red Version set. The cape she is wearing with it I ordered from Iplehouse if I remember correctly. She's a Edgars Atelier Zinna! I haven't changed her face-up at all. I'm not really sure how I ended up with Dollpire hands, the promo pics suggested regular hands. I didn't request them but I'm glad they came because as Red Riding Hood, it's fitting she has her own 'claws'.

 

@stellarphenomena I never would have guessed Edgars Atelier Zinna. Red Riding Hood is a great look for her, although the Big Bad Wolf had better watch out for those claws! Now that you mention it, I remember seeing that red cloak at Iplehouse. They no longer have it, only a BID version without lace. It's interesting that she can squeeze into DollHeart MSD outfits. I may take another look at DH and see if they have anything else that Zinna might wear. If it ends up being too tight for her, I can always put it on my Pirouette Zinna. She's getting really tired of her tutu.

 

I surprised myself doing this because I fell in love with her stock look in the photos. When I had her for awhile everything about her tone/face-up spoke to me that she should be a red-head. Funny how that happens.

I had to hold myself back from getting Pirouette Zinna, I really love her! Good luck on the Dollheart fit. This is the only Dollheart I've tried on her so let us know how that works out. Of course the lower portion of the dress is very loose, so once you get past the chest.....it's all good....

 

Oooooh, I think the wig threw me off. I wanted to buy her so bad, but when I had money she was sold out, so I got Bitter Biscuit instead. EA's clothes are so stinking cute though, so I had thought about getting the Tara, but I don't like Tara's face very much. One of these days I'll get around to trading my Tara for a Zinna. Maybe. Cause she also has the Dollpire hands and I don't like those.

One of these days I'd also like to have a Soaked Grudge Zinna (Dead). But she costs way too much. Must have all the colors though. lol

 

Which Tara do you have? I've always preferred Zinna. I love almost all her releases, Tara not so much. I haven't ruled out finding another doll to put all this EA stock back on, it's such a cute outfit. Apparently it's never going back on RRH!

I like Ballerina Kid Brise. Do you know if you can ask Dollmore to modify that face-up a bit by omission...for example saying you want to do without the eyelid jewels and the under eye purple shadow? I'm sorry but that, to me, just looks like she's been punched in the eye!!

Also, there seems to be 2 face molds for Zinna right...one that has a fuller bottom lip? They don't all look the same to me.

 

Yeah, they will most of the time. It depends what you ask for.
I had them leave off the moles on my Skuld. And I also had them not put the nail polish on my Minuet Eve Tara.

I don't know if they would take off the purple. You can see if they will do a lighter color, or less of it. Most of the time they look better in real life than Dollmore's pictures. Also don't always trust their pictures! Had stuff come in way different.

I have 5 Zinna's and they are all the same sculpt. They just don't always paint all the way to the lip line, and sometimes they shade it differently to look more voluptuous.

 

The position of the teeth can also affect the look of the lips. It's a movable piece and not all dolls have it positioned exactly the same.

 

Yeah, that too. I really like that aspect of it.

 

Yes, I actually had to move the tooth plug on mine because when she came I thought.."this isn't how her mouth looked in the photos." I'm glad they give us that option!

 

Yeah, the face is pretty versatile as it is, but that makes more options. I have 6 of them, and while they look similar they are all pretty different.

So that's kind of neat that there were options. I figured it would just be one thing and plain. So it seems you can pick any of the face-ups from their basic dolls.

Hang on a minute... You can't get a Zinna makeup on a Zinna head? What am I missing here?

I have a Dollpire Roo on order. She has the Judith body but the Roo head. Should be interesting to see how she looks in person.

 

Nope. Because all the Zinna's are limited edition. So if they did one of those, it would be a copy of another one, which wouldn't make it limited anymore.
But you could just get a blank one and have it sent off to someone else for face-up. I love the work Angel Toast did on Aubreigh.

 

Resurrecting the thread to say that my Dollpire Kid/Judith Roo has shipped! It's taken twice as long as my previous orders. What's up with that? Whatever--she's coming home.

I'm thinking that if I end up not loving the Roo head I might order a blank Zinna head and send her out for face-up. I wouldn't have thought of that if you hadn't mentioned it, @Kielin.

 

Ah yeah, it's a good option.
I just don't have the money right now.

 

It's not an option for me at the moment, either. I just ordered a Souldoll full-set Vito girl. My money went bye-bye.

 

Well, this is the order I want to do.

I already got the clothes and wig for the Socheon on my last order, I just need the doll now.
Then a blue Judith, and the replacement head and hands for my other one.

 

@Kielin That's some order! On the other hand, if you're doing it piece-by-piece it's manageable.

Is the Soaked Grudge the blue Judith? She looks blue, but the listing doesn't say what color she is.

Red Priestess is a beautiful doll, I love her smoky eyes! Do you think they will have a new Zinna anytime soon??

Can anyone tell me why Tara & Zinna are called Judith Girls?
