Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Stormlight ~ She's so pretty! And those eyes! I love them!

      Uneven yellowing can mean a couple things - is it a parts thing, like you mentioned? Or is it like the Chiwoo head I have that's literally half green and half white? I'm not sure I'd care at all if it was parts (my U-jee with the 2006 body, and head bought this year just got new hands and feet. All I can say is lol), buts uneven in the actual parts is not so cool. I don't know how that would continue to age.

      On the other hand if it was a grail, I'm not sure I'd care at all. I was able to blush that Chiwoo head so you can't tell he's even green, let alone uneven green (not that he was a grail, just cheap lol)

      He's my most expensive doll too - collectively. :B

      I have about a million pictures of him\them. And I've totally had remorse before and after buying - but never with this doll ;)

      I hope they don't release Kara with that crazy environmental-french-baby-whatever resin...I'd be obligated to buy one. They're like my Pokemon O.O

    3. Thanks all! Yeah, it was a bit scary sending her out with those long ears. I just made sure she was extra well-padded. Used box cushions and everything, and Arrowchild made sure she was well-padded for the trip back. And she made it through unscathed.

      Her eyes are Oscar Doll, which I found at Dollism. As soon as I saw them I thought they're perfect! And snatched them right up before someone else did. Most I ever paid for a pair of eyes, but so worth it. They really ARE perfect for her.

      Here's another shot of her face, showing the beautiful detailing around her eyes. I'd asked for a fantasy faceup with a wing pattern. Arrowchild does such beautiful scroll-work. I love her eyeslashes, too. I picked up a pair of human lashes. I was worried they'd be too long, but they work very well.

      (And when I sometimes start to doubt myself whether I actually want one or not, Alex is the main one I go look for pictures of to remind myself I really do want him. xP )

      So, I did it. ^_^ Nearly talked myself out of it while looking at the stupid exchange rates >_< but talking it over with my best friend and figuring out the "cost" of the extras (free wig + eyes, free shipping, etc.), I convinced myself to do it and put the order through. So he's on his way :celebrate

      But in much better news, I think the deal is working out on that Haneol from the seller I stalked and contacted. 8D Haha so perhaps soon I shall have him....but I'm being cautiously optimistic!

      My sitting dolls get to hold disembodied heads in their laps. No box here. :sweat

      In addition, someone must've searched for a Dikadoll Adler head, which I listed for trades on my desperate WTB ad for Haneol, and I will be selling him in order to reshell him into a Lawrence Owen before those deviants can discontinue him too. >_>
