    2. Congrats, aernath! He looks amazing! It's too bad about his ankle breakages, though. That seems to happen an awful lot with Dollmore dolls, it seems. :(

      I wish it was fit to go outside here and take photos. With my flash unit dead and only about 8 hours of daylight each day now, I make do the best way I can. :doh Noé wanted to show off his suit, so we are adding to the well-dressed resin men goodness in this thread:

I'm sure we've all whined about grails at some point. ;) haha My family has names for my resin folks too, so "eyepatch guy" doesn't seem that strange to me. My mother refers to Tyler as "the blind boy" because she can never remember his name for some reason. Zach is "the biker one who needs a haircut" and Noé (known as "Noah" to my mother) is - apparently - "that poor boy who looks too much like a girl" ...to which I respond :|:roll::doh
      Can't wait to see your Haneol when he comes home! I'm excited for you! :)

      Or is it me? Did they change their name, or did they decide to only sell through dealers now? Does anybody know what's going on?

    6. Thanks, @Grouchy Gnome! Noé and Élise both got new red-and-white holiday outfits. Noé's suit is from Pink Fantasy (mybayer2008 on eBay). Élise and Émilie got matching dresses from Alice's Collections (which I need to take photos of them in). Gabriel got holiday attire too, so we're going to do a family portrait when my new flash unit arrives, hopefully tomorrow.

      M3 Studio's web site has been down for at least a week and a half. I was getting the garbage code and the 404 error intermittently. It seems they have moved exclusively to taobao, which is unfortunate because taobao is notoriously difficult to order from. Alice's Collections carries quite a bit of M3 stuff, so if you go to http://www.acbjd.com you should be able to find a lot of it. Alice speaks English extremely well and is great to communicate with, so if you need any M3 stuff that you don't see on her site, you could always email her and ask about it.

    7. Good to know stuff from AC fits model dolls. I am adding lots of extras to my Lawrence Owen head order for Haneol and a few other people, but it's mostly small stuff like eye lashes, accessories, and string. XD Lots of underwear for some reason...and epic shoes for Haneol. I am going to get him Model F high heel feet as well but they seem to be sold out?

      Does Elise have heel feet? I am wondering if they fit the model guy! Do you think they would fit on Noe?

    8. hahaha @Genevieve you should see Noé & Élise's underwear collections! I don't know what it is about these two, but they've got more underwear than most of my other dolls combined. Noé's favourite ones are the metallic red ones. He also has the sparkly neon green ones. :XD: Haneol won't be alone in his underwear collecting. ;)
      Élise does not have high heel feet, but the ankle size should be about the same between the flat and heel feet. I can try her feet on Noé if you want. I think they might be too small, as the Model F girls have super tiny ankles, but I will check. :)

    9. It is probably because Dollmore has such a great underwear selection...he is getting both model F and model M underwear. XD Although I think Model F hips are too wide, I compared measurements and the model M would fit the Eve girl's underwear better. He should fit Model F stockings though! He's going to be a rather androgynous guy, his character has been greatly influenced by the Evgeneia fullset/styling.

      And lol, I saw the metallic red ones and thought of Noe! It would be great to see how the feet fit, thanks a lot!

    10. omg I missed a lot...

      Not that it makes a huge difference, because it would be personal preference (and I like huge feet) but the Model F feet are the same size as the Adam feet (some of the shoes are labeled as Model F and Adam). I have the Model F high heeled feet on one of my Kara Klums (58cm tall) and they're the same size as his flat feet. So I agree with Sapphire, they'd be too small. But Dollmore feet seem to be proportionately larger than other feet - My 70cm dolls all wear Alex's shoes.....so if it doesn't bother you it would work if they fit.

      OMG Genevieve, I want to see so many photos of your Lawrence Owen!! I love that mold but never had a reason to own one! And so many yays for Haneol Moon!!! *clapclapclap* I'm so happy for you (officially!!)!

      Lol the Eve underwear will probably be perfect. My Eve wears their MSD size underwear because Eve underwear is too big.

      aernath ~ ladlahgorghsd he's gorgeous!! Sad about the ankle :( Will DM replace it? But he's sooooo prettifuls!

      This thread makes me want to keep my big guy. If I knew where to get him clothes....or if Minimee heads would fit on that body so he could share......maybe I should look into that.

      About the broken ankle, I don't know if I mentioned I received even two lower calfs (right and left) for replacement (for just one damaged leg), a nice move I think. Let's hope this won't happen again to anyone (even if it's not the end of the world thanks to Dollmore's great customer service).

    14. My tattoo Nayuta Kenzo arrived in perfect shape, so I didn't expect any trouble with Keskin Yarn Sae.
      He was wrapped within an inch of his resin life, but it looks like the feet got pushed hard enough in the toe area to crack the ankles. I still need to take photos. I put the clothes on him and ran him out for the photos I took when he came in. Thankfully it doesn't seem to affect his posing.

    15. Both my Mettaa and Victor Lou arrived with no problems thank goodness, but Mettaa was secondhand and shipped unstrung. XD I would've been very sad if anything were to happen to any of their parts. D:

      On news of the heels, DM said on the discussion board that the heel feet won't fit. :T Blast it. I may be stubborn and try it anyways. They should follow in IoS's footsteps and make heel feet for their big guys! :D

    16. I've asked this before in....some thread somewhere (could be this one), but where do you all dress your Glamor Models?? If I keep mine I'm going to have to find him clothes. Which I just can't seem to do. Or possibly revamp his character so he can wear clothes I can find. And maybe redo his faceup. I have to do something with him.

      So I wonder if it's just fluke shipping accidents or if there's a flaw in the mold or something...? Hopefully it's just a coincidental two isolated incidents.

      Random High-heeled feet laying around doesn't seem like a bad idea to me lol if they don't fit him they might fit someone!

    17. Granado also makes high heeled feet for their boys. Well, the old 68 and 64 cm bodies. I don't recall if they do it for the Nuevo or not. I'm sure they don't on the new Lads body.

      I'm guessing it was a fluke during shipping. It just happened to get thrown hard enough into the truck/plane at some point in time that he got slammed around hard enough on the feet side of the box.

      Clothes. Well, for short sleeved tops, SD17 are good. I think. I just got this guy. lol And my Scrimshaw runs around starkers, so I haven't really had to mess with dressing them yet. Merlin came with the suit set, so again...
      I do currently have my Scrimshaw in a pair of pants from Alice's Collections. I think they're the generic 70cm size. They're big in the waist (about 2cm) and long in the leg - but I like that look. And AC is having a saaaaale on a couple pair of the pants. ;) http://www.acbjd.com/clothes-boy-pants-c-3_30.html

      Here you go. A shot of Scrimshaw in a Volks SD17Gou jacket. The sleeves are just a touch short for me. Short sleeves would not be a problem though.

    18. love love Scrimshaw! Volks clothes are just too small IMO. but I wonder how different in size my old Calix is from the new glamor men. I buy Dollmore pants & shoes. they're beautifully made & fit perfectly. generic 70cm shirts/tops fit him. although he looks so big, I haven't made any clothes for my guy. as opposed to 5th Motif Venitu & Goowha who have wardrobes being created constantly.

      I can't imagine Srimshaw or my Blue Epoch wearing clothes most of the tme anyway. :lol:

      And as far as what my Glamor guys wear, they either wear Dollmore stuff or Volks SD17 stuff. The Volks are a bit short in the arm length and pants length but they fit well, I think. :3 Generally these guys can wear anything SD17, but have wider shoulders than usual SD17 size, and most definitely longer legs/ arms. XD

      Also...random question
      How the heck can i get one of those little preview images on my post in the customer gallery on Dollmore's site?

    20. It automatically does that when I use the "browse" button to load pictures from my desktop. I don't know any other way to do it. Sorry! :sweat

      Thanks! Scrimshaw is usually naked all the time, but I was recently taking photos of shirts I made, and he didn't want to be without pants for those. ;)

      My Thinking Kara Klum head shipped as well, but it is going slow boat, so I don't expect it for a while.
