Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     1. Mine's on the slow boat as well....

      Genevieve ~ how do you put photos in? I change my Flickr to the html option, and just copy and paste - it does it on it's own. I don't remember how I used to do it, but it never worked for me either until I started using this option.
      And yay for heads shipping!! :D

      Heh, I'm tall and my #1 pet peeve in clothing is having them be too short, so SD17 is out. I'm not super thrilled with what Dollmore has, but I guess I'll have to make it work.

      I guess I shall be taking my Ripley's sales thread down after this post. I've thought about it and I'm giving him another chance. I already have plans to redo his faceup (Which is a shame as it's an LE10 - but oh well.), boil his wig and work on finding him something to wear that's not his full set. He's also going to hopefully share his body with a MNM I'm hoping to get next year just for fun....

      Now I'm going to have to dig him out of his hiding place and find space on the shelf again...(he's totally sitting on the shelf - just wrapped in a shroud)

      Yes, my biggest bugaboo is pants that aren't long enough for me. I've got a big behind, and it seems I'm only allowed to be wide and short, or tall and thin. I never find jeans that are both wide and long! They're all two inches too short, and drive me batty!
      But I've recently discovered the joy of overalls. ;) Thirty-one inch inseam, but the way they hang, it's more like a 33 inch inseam, and they FIT! If they weren't so expensive, I'd get several.

      I'm glad you're keeping your mummy man. ^_^ I kept looking at his sale thread....

    4. I tell you, shopping sucks! I don't think it matters what body type you have, nothing will fit right, or your size will be the one size not there. :\
      I have often wondered if part of my love for Dollmore dolls is that their odd body shape is very similar to mine. Long legs, no waist, long arms....I pretty much look like my Eve lol

      Thanks! :D I'm glad I'm keeping him too! I didn't really want to let him go...I'm not a fan of parting with my Dollmore dolls (I've only ever sold one and a head! Both Kids). Hmm.....I wonder if I still have eyes for him now D:

      Anyone know off-hand if EID shoes will fit?? I have a pair....somewhere....

    5. I wonder if it weren't easier to commit to kimonos once and for all, and forget the casual wardrobe. Wouldn't it be less of a hassle? And the elegant... no, not the suits. Or uniforms. Everything (their size) looks just too good on those Glamor Model guys :...(- same will go for the girls, but I'm a boys' addict.

    7. Girrl: Model dolls look wonderful with Dollshe's lanky guys like Hound. My white Spider Queen was paired up with my white Hound for a couple years. but, she went to live with someone else. maybe it was because she kept flirting with Hound's friend Bermann. she was hell to sew for. (tiny waist, large....um....bosom.) love the photo of your literate girl. :XD:

    8. VampireAngel13, I know EID shoes fit the Model M guys, but I can't say if they fit Glamour Models. Noé can wear Gabriel's EID-sized shoes. They're a little big on him, but not so much that they'll fall off.

      Girrl, that's a great pic. I must go check out the story that goes with it! ;) Don't know why the model women aren't more popular. Mine is certainly well-loved.

    9. Girrl; My Dollpire, Guy Winston would like to make friends with your CJ. He's very fond of girls with glasses. He doesn't mind at all, bcause he has 3 eyes of his own. But, he wouldn't want to frighten CJ!.:roll:

    11. You've seen CJ's roommates! A 3 eyed vamp is positively tame after surly night elves, unsocial elemental guardians and the eye-searing fashion choices of the resident Franken-siblings ;) (not to mention her master assassin ex and his incredibly hostile family)

      Aww, poor Noé! Now that Scarlett is in the picture hopefully things get better for him :)

    12. Her head is here, at least! Now comes the hard part...finding the right body for her. I've figured out her eye size, so I'll be ordering eyes and a wig for her in January. She might not get to the faceup artist until sometime in the spring, but I should have made up my mind about her body by then. Her makeup is actually inspired in part by Dollmore, ironically enough; it's going to look something like Skylar Grey's makeup.
      Meanwhile, Noé likes to stare at outfits like this one and imagine what Scarlett will look like when she's all completed and wearing something like that. He's very anxious for his 'friend with benefits' to be completed, as he's getting quite tired of being the proverbial third wheel to his sister and Gabriel.

      He looks pristine to me! The listing said they might be a little yellow, but it got a good one! Yay!

    15. lol he is a rascal but, the truth of the matter is, that is an outfit Scarlett would actually wear. A friend and I were kind of giggling over it the other day because when we saw that outfit it was like it had 'Scarlett' written all over it. :XD: She's the sort that would drag Noé to various seedy nightclubs and then, in front of other men, drape herself all over him like a life-sized accessory. ("Sorry to disapoint you, boys. You can see I'm already spoken for.") Not that Noé would be complaining, of course. :wiggle Let's just say they are a little less morally upstanding than Élise and Gabriel. ;)

      Excuse the horrendous picture, but it's the only one I have of her (it was taken at the Holiday meet a week or so ago). Sitting next to Alex is the new Isis - Biwol. She has the tiniest eyes of any SD sized doll I own!! I love her.
