It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. Dollmore Lusion Discussion - Part V!

Aug 13, 2014

    1. That's good to know! I hope we see more hanbok from them as soon as possible!

Tbh, it's lucky I haven't found the grail lusion for me (which is a thistle dahlia). If I have her that'd be like a gateway to the rest, and... well, as they say, weepy bank account..

    2. If you search for Korea, you will find a few more Korean outfits. You could ask if a change of color is possible. The Banji hanbok is a basic design but I'm not sure I would like the yellow and pink on a Lusion! Now if they would make the top white or pale pink, it would be nice.

    3. I think we all want Thistle...! And Nancy, they have all kinds of hanboks on the site, but as I said, most are limited and the one that isn't, I can't stand. So we'll see...and I'll let you all know.

    4. Ronald McDonald House is where you can stay if you have a seriously ill child in hospital. My daughter was born 15 weeks early so she spent 120 days in Intensive Care and I lived there away from my family.

Here's a pic of my Alice

    5. Alice is very pretty

I hope there were no lasting repercussions from such an early birth of your daughter.

    6. Thanks for asking Teddy. We are surprised how well she has come through it all (that's a picture of her foot when she was born just after a blood transfusion in my profile). She has Chronic Lung Disease but she should grow out of that by the age of 5. She is on night time oxygen still but should be off of that next month. Her retinopathy (where the retina can detach because of the oxygen she received) is regressing so she doesn't need surgery. She is developing really well and surprising her doctors - she's just a bit small that's all (but that just makes her cuter).

I think Alice reminds me of her to be honest.

    7. That's a relief! There are so many problems that can effect the premature ones.

      That's sweet.

My Daisy Bacon is a bit neglected at the moment, really, as she's not as easy to pick up and play as the SD's and smaller, and I've been concentrating on easy for a lot of this year for various reasons.

    8. I'm sorry for all that trouble, whitewolf, but glad for her triumphing over serious adversity. And despite your stay at the house, I don't think you made a mistake in ordering Alice, who is stunning! I like her much more than in Dollmore's photos...Way to go. And God bless, too, while I'm at it. Enjoy your beautiful doll. I gotta go look at her again. Okay, LOVE! Oh dear, WANT!

    9. It's a Lillia that I want, but even if I could afford to buy another Lusion, I don't have space for one.

As it was I had to get rid of some of my smaller dolls before my fiance would allow my Daish into the house, and all the ones I was willing to let go have gone.

      Teddy

    10. Well, you probably won't be there forever....which is something to think about when planning another big doll.

    11. We all do, don't we? :D In fact, it was that one face and styling that reminded me of Koitsukihime / Luna Angelico dolls. Goodness gracious how I long for those dolls but it's just going to remain to be a pipe dream. Those dolls are ridiculously expensive (I had to ask Luna Angelico themselves, and even now, I am reeling from the price), and unless I chance upon a great windfall of money I just have to look somewhere else.

I feel for you @whitewolf.. And I celebrate the progressive improvement of your little one! She seems to be taking giant steps, the wee little angel that she is. It is a great, happy thing to know that in her beats a heart of a true conqueror. I wish her and your family all the love, and hope you can all go home together safe and sound soon!

In all honesty, though, nothing could have prepared me for the cuteness overload of your Alice. I didn't think she'd be that pretty, but she is... <3

    12. Whitewolf: I'm sorry for your hardship, but I am so happy that your little one is doing well! Many hugs.

I actually would really like to buy Elenoir to be a buddy for Clover.

    13. Hi everyone,

I've always wanted a Dahlia and in October I finally ordered the Royal Floraison on layaway, and only have two payments left! I'm really excited to finally have my dream sculpt. Looking at the images in this thread has been tiding me over :)
In the mean time, I noticed Dollmore uploaded a page for the new Blanc Printemps Dahlia, who I think has an absolutely beautiful face (and wig!)

    14. That's great. She's one of my huge favorites. if I didn't have four of them, blush, I'd have ordered her too. You'll love her and they're so much fun to dress...the Printemps Dahlia is the same as yours and you can get that wig and have a great time.

    15. Wow I would love to have 4 Lusions :aeyepop: Hopefully some day I will!! I'm already looking at the Royal Floraison Daish to be a friend for my upcoming Dahlia because I love their matching outfits!
I will definitely be getting the same "cabbage wig" that the Primtemps Dahlia has because those curls are adorable.

I'm also looking at some of the clothes that Dollmore offers, and so far my favorite is the Civilin set. I love the fairytale feel it has. I'm sure I'll be able to find some great clothes in everyday stores that suit Lusion size, and hope to find some good shoes! Preferably little boots :)

    16. I had 7 but that was then and this is now. :-) I think they'd be darling together, myself. Daish and Dahlia, so pretty. I love their clothes and have a jones to get every outfit they make. When I hit the lottery. But the girls also have custom clothes and some antique things thrown in. Target is wonderful for boots and shoes. I've gotten them fabulous footwear from there, plus a Hello Kitty backpack. I can't wait for you to get yours!

    17. 7 must have taken up so much room! Did you store them on a shelf or a sofa? I've been looking for antique-style kid-size furniture and been drooling over this half-scale chair

    18. We have a large house ,so they were all over the place with other dolls of all kinds. When I had just the five, they had their picture taken on the bed, which was funny...but also, I had them standing up, and then they don't take up that much space.

    19. Do Lusions stand well on their own, or should I try to find a stand or maybe lean her against the wall? I would love to display her upright rather than sitting so I could have her pretty outfit in full view!

    20. I use Kaiser stands and Dollmore stands and I never, ever, never let them stand on their own. Ever! But one nice thing about the DM stands: expensive and heavy as heck, but they wrap flat around your doll's waist, so that she can wear something pretty skin tight and you can't see the stand. They are very heavy dolls and need support.
