1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Dollmore Lusion Discussion - Part V!

Aug 13, 2014

    1. Thank you so much for the info! I will certainly check out Kaiser stands, since I saw the price on the Dollmore stand and did a double take. I do like the idea of the stand wrapping flat around the waist though for more support.

This is a bit off topic, but can you identify the second doll in that Dollmore stand page? I don't recognize it at all but it looks about the same size as a Dahlia...

    2. I didn't see the stand page as I order privately, sorry. I'll go look though. I do love their stands.Cost a bloody fortune, but they're the only stands that will hold up the Trinity dolls. And they're very sturdy. Kaiser stands are the old kind of doll stands, but in the large sizes, they work well for Lusions, but are bulkier.

    3. That would be a Trinity doll, but don't ask me which one.

      Teddy

    4. I don't think that's a trinity. I don't recognize the head, hands or feet!

Update! Just above the first picture is this information:

      * Model 1: Dollmore Lusion Doll - Golden Dahlia (80cm)
      * Model 2: 'Thanatonautes' made by Doll Artist So-Hyun (80cm)

    5. I was gonna say, seems way too small in the waist and not tall enough for a Trinity. Plus, the way her toes curl up suggests she has heel feet. And her nails are too pointy. She's interesting, though.

    6. That's it. Now I remember. There was a lot of talk about her, the little'un, on my Yahoo group for BJDs, long ago. Aren't you clever to have found her out!

    7. Well, that was me making an incorrect assumption.

    8. Well I like the red underdress and the shoes, but the fancy bathrobe style doesn't appeal.... The doll is OK, but Dahlia isn't ever going to be the sculpt for me. So I'm safe.

    9. Thanks!! I actually like her a lot. I'll have to look into her more.

I adore the new Dahlia. The brown-toned color palette of her faceup is right up my alley. I also like the black and gold fabric of her hanbok, and her little shoes are precious!

    10. I was pleased! I bought the pink and the red ones!

    11. Those are cute too! They also have Hanboks! They would have to be altered but it might be easier than starting from scratch.

    12. I just put a Schlierenist Dahlia on layaway with Dollmore! I asked for a year but I'll probably pay it off earlier if at all possible. So glad I was able to snag one before that particular fullset sold out. :aheartbea

    13. Congratulations. She's one of my serious favorites. Glad that you're going to get her. Won't that be wonderful?

    14. That's wonderful! I adore her off-white dress and really like how her faceup looks so different than the others. She has such a vulnerable expression.

I have just one more payment on my Royal Floraison Dahlia to go!

    15. Awesome that you'll have your Dahlia paid off shortly! And yeah, I just love everything about this Dahlia. Her outfit, her faceup ... she'll probably end up in a darker wig, since her eyebrows look darker than her hair, though. That's okay; I've got plenty of wigs to choose from! Probably way more than they need (and I just ordered that pretty pink and blue long straight wig with Dahlia, too). lol

      I was hoping to maybe put a good chunk of my tax return down to get her paid off early, but probably won't happen now since I just leased another Rav4. So most of it is going toward that, instead. lol Not complaining, though! It has all-wheel drive which my last Rav didn't, so if we have another snowstorm I'll be prepared this time. Getting up and down my driveway with front-wheel drive is NOT a fun time, especially when you have no room to maneuver without risking hitting the cars on either side of you. ^^;

I like my location but living in a townhouse neighborhood sometimes is no fun when we've got three feet of snow and nowhere to PUT it all. heh

    16. Ker46, I think Royal Floraison is about my all-time favorite, not that they're all not. And Stormlight, if you don't have a good sized car, how can you take your child out for healthful airings? They are the most FUN dolls!
