1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Dollmore Lusion Discussion - Part V!

Aug 13, 2014

    1. New Kate released! She's quite pretty.

    2. Did you mean to post this on the Trinity thread?

      Teddy

    3. Oh yes. Sorry about that.

    4. No worries - it's easy enough to do. I once posted something to the wrong forum entirely.

    5. ah we don't mind the reminder to check lol ... sorta... this one stings... she's so whatt i want in looks... she'd be greaat with my 'some day my Pino will come' plans lol

    6. So.... I'm back! Someone was selling their Elf Dahlia and... yeah... there went a chunk of my taxes! Oops? :XD: So... I remember reading somewhere about what other brands/types of clothing fit this big girl... I know some of the infant clothing does, anything else I should look for? Should I just scour antique shops? :XD:

    7. lol when you get her take a foot off and take it shopping to kid stores for shoes... that help huge .. sometimes brands differ just enough that one size in one might not work with another.

    8. Or rather than taking off her foot, draw an outline of it on a piece of cardboard and slip the cutout into the shoe to test size. Much easier and you’re less likely to get stared at for holding a disembodied foot. :)

Incidentally, I find size 5T fits best. Make sure it’s toddler size 5, though, not kid size 5. Big difference. :3nodding:

Size 4T can work, too, but I find it just a little too narrow due to Lusion’s high instep. 4T fits a Trinity’s foot much better.

    9. Clothing for some of the SLIM Himdtedt dolls fits, I've used patterns for the slim 27-30 inch Himstedts to makle clothes for my Daish:

    10. What a gorgeous dress. If my 3 yo would wear clothes without a fight I would totally dress her in that

    11. Awww... thanks. It was meant as a tryout for the pattern before I cut the fabric I had in mind for the dress, but it came out so nice I've never gotten around to making the other version.

    12. 5T shoes? THAT makes it easy! I've got a 4 yr old girl and an 18 month old boy, so I have my choice of shoes between the two and possibly a SECOND girl (judging by how sick I've been! *_* ) due in late October. :XD: So shoes are NOT a problem! I'll have to poke around for the slim Himstedt. I've heard of them, just never bothered to look them up, I'll do so now though! :D

    13. Hey ya Everybody :)

I was wondering if any of you own Elenoir ? Or know someone that does?
That would be kindly willing to share some photos of her?
She is the only Lusion Girl who’s photos are hard to find... or at least for me lol
Any help would much be appreciated. Thank you :kitty2

    14. @KittyYoo, I don't own an Elenoir so I can't provide any photos, she does seem to be hard to find photos of :sweat
      ...

I decided recently I want to change Alexandria, my First Travel Dahlia's look to a more modern one for a while so I went clothes shopping the other day for her :D I'm going for a pastel, Fairy Kei inspired look. I've ordered her a new colourful wig from Dollmore to go with it but for now, this is what she looks like.

(The dress is actually too big for her, but that was nothing a few pins couldn't solve. I want to get her a little cardigan or something to hide them. I'm not skilled enough at sewing to properly take in the dress :XD:)

    15. My 4 yr old would go nuts over that dress since she loves unicorns and pastels! The style of it is too cute! What size is it so I know what to look out for for my girl? I've picked up a few things here and there over the past couple years for her because I was determined to eventually get a Dahlia, but the majority of the dresses I do have are too short. =/

    16. (Oh my gosh this reply is so late)

Haha~ it was on a discontinued sale and the moment I saw it I swooped in and grabbed it  It's very cute. I believe it's a children's size 4 or 5, so far too big in the shoulders and waist for a Lusion but if you're handy with a sewing machine you could take in the seams.

Alexandria's wig came in some time ago and I'm really pleased with her new modern pastel look :whee:

    17. Love it on her....That wig is perfect! I have First Traveler too, so might take a leaf out of your book...and try for that wig. They're such fun dolls!

    18. Very cute

      Teddy

    19. Thank you! I was surprised how much the wig suited her, she's very versatile when it comes to changing her looks.
      Thanks! :)

    20. That's so true. I had her in a black straight wig for a very unusual steampunk look and didn't change her eyes from her default color and she looked amazing. They're dolls who can wear almost any look, from minimal moderne to maximum ruffles...and they always are stylin' it!
