1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Dollmore Lusion Discussion - Part V!

Aug 13, 2014

    1. I really like that wig on your girl, especially together with the dress. You like violet/purple, dont you?
      Great combination! ♡

May I ask a question about posing Dahlia?
The thing is I found it's so hard to make my girl stand or pose. Do I have to hot glue her? Or do I need stand for her?
Poor my girl, just sit on her chair since she got home :(

    2. I have 2 of mine on stands. They are quite heavy and can be difficult to pose. I think hot glue sueding helped a bit on mine (well one of them that is since I never got around to sueding the others) I got her to free stand a few times but after she fell over once I've only used the stand since.

    3. Thank you very much for your reply, @Kitty Blue ♡ i greatly appreciate it ☆☆☆
In reagarding to hot glue sueding, I have tried to use it for my Dollstown 17yrs doll body, but after a short time handling/ playing /posing, the glue comes off easily, and cause some mess in the sueding area. Does it happen because of my glue quality or it's normal? I'm thinking about using leather instead of hot glue. I really hope that works.

      Thank you again, my dear♡♡♡

    4. I have mine on just the shelf where all the rest of mine are... but I really want a chair for my Amelia. I adore that wig you have for your girl @Magical Rin

    5. I'm a few years late to the party, but I finally got my Lusion yesterday. She's an Ice Dahlia, and no matter how many pictures I saw, it still didn't prepare my little brain for how big she is @_@
It seems so alien that she can wear clothes meant for people, compared to all the other dolls I've owned so far.
I'll come back when I have half decent pictures, but for fun, here's an SD head inside her headcap

    6. Thanks @QuanaP @AlmySidaKay !

Congrats on your first Dahlia @bluekitsune I was shocked when I first got my girl too, I knew she was big but it was amazing to see her in person. Love the picture as well, it really gives people an idea of the huge scale of the Lusion girls

I found this adorable headband while shopping the other day and it was just perfect for Alexandria. Now all she needs is a unicorn necklace and her look will be complete I think :)

    7. Her color scheme is fabulous dude, great find!
I need the weather to collaborate so I can seal her and paint her :3nodding:

For now I'm adding trim to a night gown a friend gifted her!

    8. This style is beautiful. Hair colour match well with the outfit.

    9. Thank you~! I'm really happy with how she looks in her new style :)

    10. I like her, but he leaves me cold. They're not the boys that I want. But I wish Dollmore luck with them, because even in BJDs, boys don't sell as well as girls.

    11. I like the boy body better than the girl's. I wish they would do the make up a little more boyish. The lips are painted to full for my taste. But I doudt I would buy one even if the faceup was perfect. I have three of the girls and I prefer playing with the Illua size. Boys aren't as popular as girls but there are more cute styles for girls. But when it comes to mature dolls, I think I have more men than women.

    12. I prefer the girl body, because it reminds me of the great Japanese artist's dolls of the nineties. But I I like him..but not the faceup, not his eye color, not his wig color. I think with brown eyes and auburn hair, he might be more interesting and less painted looking.

    13. I'd like to see the boy body without the clothing.

    14. There are body pictures on Pino's listing.

    15. And I love everything about him. I do hope they eventually come out with an Illua sized boy. As much as I like the idea of the bigger dolls, I just don't have the space for one.

    16. I still love the BIG dolls and want them too.. but yes an Illua Dell would be wonderful!

    17. I really love the makeup on the “Many Moons Ago Alice” Dahlia. She’d look great as a brunette, though I know that defeats the purpose of the Alice in Wonderland theme.

I really like that the Lusion Boy body fixes the weirdly narrow waist (which the Lusion Girl has). I’ll still probably buy one of the boys one day for the face sculpt but turn it into a girl. I love Dell’s heavy makeup because it makes him look like a girl lol but I think his eyes look a bit too far apart to me.

    18. I wish they'd sell the boy body on its own so I could mod off the boy-bits and swap my Daish head onto it.

The boy body is a much better child body shape than the girl body (which is too narrow through the torso to really look child-like), and is much closer to what I was hoping for when the Lusion girls appeared.

    19. The real Alice, on whom the book was based, was a brunette...Oddly, all the illustrations, including John Tenniel's, make her a blonde. Dollmore is just following tradition. But she'd make a fine brunette. I think her mouth is a bit over-painted for my taste but she's still beautiful. Dell, however...he's never going to cut it for me.
