Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     2. Clothes for the larger of the Himstedt dolls fit Lusion though.

      I've made my Daish a dress using a Himstedt pattern:

    3. That is true, even if a bit big in the waist. But beautiful on her, Teddy! I have heard that some of the My Twinn clothing can fit well. Like their longer dresses...with a pair of leggings, any Lusion would be stylin' it!

    4. I haven't tried My Twinn stuff (doesn't crop up much in England) although I tend to dress Daisy Bacon old-fashioned so the My Twinn clothes would probably all be too modern for my tastes.

      I do wish, however, they'd given Lusions proper child proportions instead of making her so narrow around the middle - I'm considering making her a set of Victorian undies with padding built in around the middle so that I can get a good child's silhouette when making clothes for her.

    5. But she was, or they were, fashioned after some of the great Japanese artists dolls of the nineties and some of them have the same odd and yet pleasing proportions. Mine have all kinds of clothes and actually can wear antique doll dresses with elan, as I have found out. And look very, very pretty!

    6. Makes no difference to me - they're too thin around the middle to have a properly childlike shape. If I could get hold of the boy body I'd mod off the "boy bits" and swap Daisy's head onto it, but even that is a bit skinny 'round the middle really.

    7. LOL and I like those wasp-waists as they can wear tons of layers and still have a shape. But i do understand. How about the OT Spirit Doll? They have a beautiful childlike shape.

    8. I've never seen one. I just Googled them to have a look but couldn't see pictures showing the body (except the boys) From the bits I coudl see on the girls they have busts (albeit small ones, but there was clevage visible in some of the shots) and the waists are still small going by the measurements - again boy body and modding off the boy bits would be my way to get a better shape of girl body.

      Looks like I'll have to continue with the padding-her-around the middle plan for my Lusion girl.

    9. Did you get on their website? i think the girls have very similar bodies to the boys. I have to go to a doll event in ten minutes but when i get home, I want to look. Always loved their dolls looks too.

    16. I'm lucky, I just got a Daish (a rehome). Now I will have to save so I can find her a Red Riding Hood set so she can match her big sister! Irony, My Trinity is 'not' the big RRH either LOL but I got lucky with her set... I can't upload pics though right now... i forgot my PW to flickr and ... getting it back is complicated now ><.

      I had a minor crisis yesterday after I checked the Dollmore website and saw Royal Floraison Daish was out of stock, after being 4/5 in stock for literally years and I was kicking myself over never taking the leap to buy her to match my Royal Floraison Dahlia. She was at the top of my wishlist after I bought Dahlia and now she's gone.... some time in the last 8 months (when I was away from all things doll related and wasn't paying attention) she sold out. At least regular Tell Me Daish is still available, and Dollmore told me they can do custom makeup on her. My Dahlia doesn't wear her limited outfit very often anyway but the thought of them matching was nice.

    18. yeah i got the golden dust Elysia so it wasn't like i missed my chance cuz i 'waited' ... they were both done before i really got the chance lol and Ely is who called to me... Took me a long time to settle on Daish. I am not a fan of the Dahlia's. but omg the Florian's >< funny thing, i wanted the Dahlia dress on the Daish doll.... i preferred

      the colors of Dahlia more lol. and testing a picture idea here.... My girls right after getting Daish and got them temporarliy set up (in my computer chair lol
