well this: suggests to me they altered the upper body on the slim (as compaired to the original promo phots) but will be offering both indeffinatly, I could be wrong though. hopefully they will keep making both as I want one of each!

Pam, where/who in the world is that outfit from? (The one in the picture near the top of this page) It is GORGEOUS. And I just love his sultry eyes- he was nice in his official pics, but wow- looks infinitely better here. That has to be one of my favorite face sculpts now.
That's an outfit I made for him for his arrival. I am working out the kinks in my pattern before taking orders. Thanks for the compliment...Trevor loves it.
Eep, I didn't know they were changing Kyle's body. I ordered him today because I was worried he would be discontinued due to the controversy (see other thread). I'm going to go on the 1:1 board and make sure I can still get a skinny Kyle as that is what I wanted. If they do another boy with a thicker body maybe I'd like that for a different doll but I pictured my Kyle as thin.
Dollmore replied to my inquiry today. I asked whether there is any possibility that Kyle will be taken off the market... and whether or not I should buy him now. They told me that I can buy him whenever, if I want... and that his new, "fatter" body will be released tomorrow, together with a new head.
Me too! They said the new head would look more western... but then they said that before Kyle was released (and he does not look very western to me).
yes I'm curious about the new body... can't wait to see it. Kyle fittted as my character because of his face. I wonder what they mean by a more Western face cause... gee I think most dolls we own look more western than Asian
I dunno, for me, not really... though they present them with light hair and eyes, there is something to their features that make them look oriental as well (less pronounced features I guess)... maybe it's safe to say they look like a mix... the best of both worlds. :P I wonder if they will discontinue his thin body... but the person (Dollmore Jee) didn't sound like it did not even occur to them... though I haven't asked directly.
I just want the head he is shipping with now. This is kind of confusing, to order a doll the same week they start to change everything. I have no idea what I am going to get now or what he will look like. Hopefully when it is morning over there, I can get this all straightened out on their Q&A board.
can his head fit onto a hound or dz body? bcos it is rather expensive for me to buy him as a whole. i would love a tall guy someday too. wow... lucky those people who could afford him. envious!!!!! i'll probably need to save 3 years from my allowances to buy him.

well it still hasn't updated on Dollmore... maybe tonight or tomorrow. I still want Kyle with the lanky body but I don't know maybe the buffer one (how much buffer are we talking about anyways?) will suit me also. I think they sent pictures to people who ordered them... could someone pretty please post one here?
yes this is really really SAD..... maybe (hopefully) there will be someone who buys him for his body & will sell his head.... but i doubt so.... if there ever is one i'll never get the chance.... other will be many others lining infront of me.... i'll never be able to have him. (admires from afar....)
