Dollmore Model boy Kyle Reese Discussion

Damn I don't know which one I like best... I love themboth... ouch... I guess my bank account is going to suffer.

 

Thank you! Jee told me in e-mail there would be a new boy in December, but I didn't realize the "new" head was the new boy so we just had a little communications breakdown.
If I like the new boy head I'll get him on the buffer body so I have two totally different boys. I like different bodies as well as different heads.

 

I thought there would be more of a difference between the two bodies... but, I think I like the thicker one better. He still doesn't look very healthy, but he does looks.. umm.... less starved. :P I'm liking the smoother lines.

I do wonder why folks are referring to the new body as "the buffer body". It seems to me the muscles are actually less defined on the new mold.

 

I sent an e-mail along to Dollmore with some Model boy inquiries...

I got a response that they'll release a new model boy in December! Maybe he'll be the Bella to Kyle's Ipsae X3

I hope we get photos soon :3

 

Is it going to be a NEW model boy? Or just a new version of Kyle? They sent me a picture of the new torso for the Model Boy Kyle, and oh man...it's absolutely stunning. Their whole model series is just tremendous.

I believe it'll be a whole new head mold, rather than just the new body :3

Yes the muscles are a bit less defined in the thicker one, but think about it , if they added more muscle, wouldn't he be too buff?
They would probably have to resculpt a new head since the body would look bigger and probably resculpt the arms to look more buff.

I guess both bodies have their positive traits either more muscle and thinner or less muscle more thickness.

Yes the other day I took my Elf Ducan head and placed in on my SA Husky just to see , and dang! since the hold was not deep eough on the ducan head it looked like he had a long neck and little head.... So too buff of a body would make the head look even smaller...

I need some help with my new Kyle. I ordered him in November and he just got here, and I am trying to make sure he has the skinnier body that I ordered. I've confirmed that the neck is right, and the chest is probably right because it has that "ribby" part under the arms that the "beefier" body does not have. However, when I tried to measure his hips I couldn't get an accurate measurement because his butt pooches out and you can get different measures depending on where you put the tape measure. Is there a fast way to confirm he got the right lower torso? He's got really defined stomach right below the chest - am I correct in thinking the "beefy" body doesn't have that definition? Anyone know a quick way to check and make sure my Kyle has the right skinny tummy?

 

Just received my Kyle yesterday and I am fairly impressed. To date I've only ever had Volks product but he is amazingly posable. I do wish his feet locked a bit better as I fear he cannot really stand on his own as securely as the Volks SD 16 can. But he is a very very impressive doll.







Sultry, sexy, and adult looking; not anime, vaguely cartoonish like the Volks dolls. I'm quite pleased.

He looks really gorgeous. I like him more every time I see him. I'm in the process of buying a Roda hopefully but after that, he will be the first guy I aim to get.

Hi everyone ! I've received today the Kyle I've ordered and I'm very satisfied because he's gorgeous ! But I wanted to ask you something, he has like... blue rings under his eyes, I have'nt made make-up but perhaps you can see my problem on my picture....

 

I had the same thing myself, but it just disappears (or at least, isn't really visible) once you put a face-up on him. ^^;
