Yeah me too... I like the new Girl model but I'm not much of a girl doll buyer... but I'd really want to see new pictures of Kyle. Frankly, I'm beginning to wonder if we won't get owner pictures before we get the new pictures at Dollmore... LOL He must be close to be ready to ship right?
I'm not much into the Model girls either. There's just something about them that turns me away. So, poor Kyle will just have to have an extremely short girlfriend :P Yeah, he should be shipping before too long... I think... I hope... *keels over*... I can't wait for some good owner pics!!!
Bumping in the hopes of news about new Kyle pictures... me want yumminess I also have a question... this is what he comes with: << organization >> - Model Doll Kyle head + assembled body - 14mm Acryl Eyes (random) - blonde wig - boxer short - Box, 2 cushions, COA What does the COA stand for... first thing that popped into mind was Coat of Armor... And How the heck am I going to transport him if they don't add a carrier ;.;
Has anyone purchased a Kyle yet? I'm wanting one but I don't think I'll be able to get him before next year.
Certificate of authenticity ^-^ thought a coat of armour would be cool. a carrier is gonna be expensive.... maybe the $15 one on soom would be big enough, its pretty big...
Being how tall he is, it seems like they would have given a carrier with him... but oh well. At least with his long legs, we'll have something to hold onto right?
well I've been to the Dollmore store and they now have Model carriers... I'm going to e-mail Hyon tomorrow and see if she can't get me more info on it.
I wish I had more information on Kyle but we are still waiting for couple more process to be done before they retake pictures. Since we are also waiting for 2nd head mold to appear soon, it will be worthwhile of waiting to see & compare both boys. Acexkeikai & few others want to know about model size carrier, here is the info. Model bag This bag is made for Dollmore models & other 70cm bjds like Dollshe boys. I have pink one in my L.A. stock if anyone is interested & want to save shipping let me know. Nicely made but if you are travelling through airplane, you will not be able to take it as a carry on bag because it is too long for compartments. Also, Double bag This bag holds 2 of model size dolls also Dollshe boys in sitting position. This is perfect for air travel & sturdy so your kids won't get hurt from shifting around. No matter what carriers you use, it is always a good idea to use some cushiony protection around your dolls. Their fingers are too delicate & break easily. I will let you know as soon as I get more info on male models, promise!
Thank you KRdollymom I would be interested in the bag... I wanted to order one with my boy when I was finally able to order him. I wanted to e-mail you to know how much it would be with shipping. the doll and the carrier. I might get a few trinkets also ^^;; Are you sure the double bag would hold Model sized dolls? Thank you for the info!
Gayle, one of our senior member of DOA recently bought this bag & this is what she said "If anyone asks you about it, two 70 CM dolls fit in there just fine. They have to have their knees bent, but they fit and seem to be well-protected." She ordered this bag because one of her Dollshe boy's fingers broke while travelling. You know how tragedy it can be when our bjd break any part of their body.
mmm I know too well my own Hound Russell broke 2 fingers. =/ well if Gayle says they hold then they must =D Does this work too? I love this model of bag (hopefully they'll still be availlable when I'll order ) http://www.dollmore.net/shop/step1.php?number=1941 I have 5 dolls and just 2 bags so I have to get a bigger bag so I could transpiort 2 at the same time
Oh man I can't wait to see the new Model boy and Kyle's new pics X3 Yeah I'm curious as to who ordered Kyle on this board? Hehehe! I'll stalk their Kyle's pics X3 Eeerr..should I start a Kyle Reese waiting thread in the Incoming Doll section? XD
I have ordered him, but I ordered him with a slightly different face up. ^_^ I'll post pictures as soon as I get him.
To reiterate what Hyon shared about the Dollmore double bag. Two 70 CM dolls will fit in there fine. You just have to bend their knees and have them sit with their legs tucked in between each others. The bag has seatbelts which hold them in place, and their hands are then free and not crushed up against anything. I am SO happy I bought this bag as I don't want anymore broken doll fingers. Also, this bag is airline compartment approved, when in the upright postion, and no one can put anything on top of the dolls, which is also really comforting. I went to JoAnn's fabric, and bought 4 inch foam padding and custom made some padding inserts to further protect them, then once they are in the bag, with the padding , I also cover them with bubble wrap. Also, anytime you travel with your dolls, be sure to wrap their hands securely in bubble wrap as well.
