Is it just me or do Kyle Reese and Huey Louis look like 2 dorn leaders from "Hana kimi" manga? And Lawrence looks like Umeda -sempai, ne? Little boy next to the model guy with black hair must be Nakao-kun ^^ hehe

Oh yes, very much so. I've been searching for the past year to find a doll that is fitting for him..and Huey could so pull off the "sweet one moment, evil the next" look.

It's great seeing new Model Doll guys being released!

I wish DM had sculpted these new guys' lips and noses on the Haneol Moon head and I would have been completely pleased with my Eiri now.

C'est la vie.

I do hope more people consider getting Model Doll guys - then perhaps I could find someone to sew front-pocketed and zip-flyed chinos for my cranky-chan.

I wish they offered white skin as an option!

Be aware of the following:

• the knee joints are terrible - talk about fuggly!
• If you get the slightly wider-in-the-shoulders torso, Dollshe shirts will be a little tight in the shoulders - plan accordingly
• the only shoes that fit those giant feet are the ones offered on the DM site, which are also offered on the Soom site for the Sabik

 

Has anyone yet ordered a Lawrence or Huey, as we have been begging for some owner pics of these two guys in the picture request area. No luck as yet...

 

I've got a Huey Lewis on the way. He will come blank so I shall post those pictures before I do his face-up.

Huey Lewis came to me today. He is love It's late and I'm going to bed so pictures will come tomorrow. If you want a hint he looks a little like an SA Hound but with teeny tiny eyes.

A little off topic, but Dollmore sent me a little doll cigarette as a free gift! Anybody want it??

Ooh, it's nice to see him without the makeup. I don't really like how they do their face-ups so I have a hard time figuring out whether I'd like the dolls or not. I already own a Kyle Reese normal version. Don't know if I'd go for another Model doll anytime soon. I'm kind of hoping they'll come out with a double-jointed body type at some point, but I'm sure that'd be years away...

 

loz64: He's really handsome even without the faceup! As for the cigarette, Antonio is bugging me to get one, so I guess I'll buy one when I order a Huey. You're lucky you got a cigarette as a free gift! ^_^ Anyways, I hope I'll see more of this handsome Huey boy of yours when he gets a faceup.

 

Ooh...he's pretty. I wanna see pic of him with a face up. Did anyone order a Lawrence Owen?? I'd love to see one of those handsome boys.

 

When I was considering Lawrence Owen, I was desperate for some pre faceup pics to really get a feel for the sculpt and how versatile it is. Now I have just received mine, I can tell you that the sculpt is beautiful and I think it will prove to be pretty versatile.

Initially, I thought he looked like Kyle Reese's big brother. However, whilst he has the same half-closed, slightly oriental eyes as Kyle, he has nothing of that "spaced out" look that one sometimes sees on certain shots of Kyle. He has a mature and quite serene look to him. He also has a wonderful, Pre-Raphaelite profile!

I have taken some pre faceup pics so, hopefully you can see what I mean

Wow, he's so nice looking!! Not a huge fan of his face up but face-up less is pretty I'll have to consider putting him on my wishlist!
