Dollmore Model Glamourous Bust Body - LE Eva, Leah and Mellow

Mar 17, 2009

    1. Hurray for more bust options in the doll world~ These girlies aren't for me, since I prefer small or no bust on my girls if I can help it...but they are pretty none the less. ^^/ Only thing that bugs me is how...uh...gravity defying their bust is. xD IF I got one of these girls I would feel the need to keep her in a super pushup corset all the time...which isn't bad, per say, just limiting. I also can't wait to see what people do with them! I'll be stalking the gallery when they start arriving for sure. <3

    2. they both are very beautiful but i just im just not feeling the large bust. its just too much for me.

    3. The portrayal doesn't really bother me.

      http://www.dollmore.net/shop/step1.php?number=3118

We've seen almost identical outfits before -- it's just the cleavage that's different. Dollmore seems to release a 'lingerie' version of most of the girls first in LE form from the look of things, so I'm seeing that as more a matter of just the way they do releases like this rather than a matter of 'women with this build need to be portrayed in this manner only'.

I get what Yuna-Ki is saying about the art issue, so this is absolutely not a flame; but then, I'm as much a fan of classic pin-up art as I am of anything else I like. Megabewbs don't intrinsically disqualify something from being artistic -- to me, anyway. I love Klimt, Bakst, Amano, Mucha...

...but I also adore Olivia in a big way. These girls remind me a great deal of her work -- yes, in the portrayal in lingerie, too, because it's fun and frilly and super girly and a little bit cute in its over-the-top-ness (especially with the pink satin kitty ears) -- not especially -sleazy-. They really aren't any sleazier than the ones in the link there in terms of their wardrobe choices, and again, I don't think it's entirely fair to say 'big boobs = not art = just for porn', but I've mentioned my personal bias in this situation, too.

So, my question is essentially: why is it a big deal when it's a bustier body in the same outfit, when presumably it wasn't when the ones in the link were released? Would it be the same reaction if, for example, they released a heavyset body and made lingerie LEs for it like they do with other things? I suspect a lot of people would actually celebrate that one, though, yeah, a lot of people would hate on it, too. (I know I'd be thrilled to see it, personally.) Just food for thought.

    4. At first I was like :aeyepop:, then I wanted to see owner's pic. :XD:
Big boobs are not my type but I still find them attractive. I like Eva Louise!

    5. It's not really to my taste, but I am glad resin doesn't get backaches.

      ... Okay, time for Tylenol.

    6. Wao! I just love them! *__* Just imagine what a corset would look like on these lovely ladies! Damn, too many ideas for victorian inspired photos here to make my bank account feel safe. *sigh* Dollmore has done it once again... XD

And if I might say a little something about too big so on... How about these ultra thin waists, super long legs, huge eyes and heads? -.- Besides these bodies are still waaay from being as extreme as worldwide accepted Barbie. Just a thouht.

    7. Ugh, breast wank. -_-

...wait, that sounded dirtier than I expected. :sweat

Although I think these dolls will be difficult to pose and dress and the perma-cleavage tends to look truly bizarre when naked, it does frustrate me to see people knocking big boobs as if they're something only strippers with implants have. I myself am blessed/cursed with a large set (I'm not as thin as a model doll, but then who is? I'm certainly not fat for a real person) and the whole assumption that big breasts are unnatural and only belong on a stripper or in a porno really does bug me.

Dollmore... puts out tons of linergie and bondage fullsets (and outfits, remember the infamous Narsha lingerie?), I don't really think it's a special treatment just for this body. And honestly, that fullset shows does do a good job of showing off the unique part of these limiteds- the bust. I'm not really bugged by it, it makes me happy to see some bustier dolls since I find a lot of BJDs to be pretty small in the bust. :sweat

    8. I don't think I have a case of boob envy ^o^ but after first laughing at the Dollmore description and some of the poses, I would definitely buy one of these girls-if they offered the body as a standard with another type of head. Not a fan so much of the head molds but I would love to see this figure in a suit and something else figure flattering but not really revealing. I wonder though if the boobs are hollow mostly cuz if not it seems like she may? be harder to pose....

    9. WOW!!! I love this girls:) They are so unusual. Imho, well done. Tastes differ. Of course, Eva and Leah have a grotesque figures (as in some anime films), but i like to see anime films and therefore i apprehend such figure with a serenity.

    10. :o:o:o:o:o

I now NEED them! I thought Obitsu/volks vinyl dolls were ridiculously hirlarious with their squishy hollow boobs. Now we get amazon girl boobs that are solid resin~! WOO!

If I actually bought one of these girls home, my poor 58cm (and under) gay boys would probably hide in utter fear.

But I love ridiculously large bewbs on dolliehs...

    11. Ummm... I'm thinking about purchasing. They are death to my purse :|

    12. mmmm I think the only thing that bothers me about it is how the gals seem to just jut perfectly outward like torpedos. I cant imagine any nude photos of them are going to seem even remotely natural. And I am stating this from a viewpoint that on rare occasions such boobage does exist in reality. Even in such cases it would take an incredible amount of support to get them to stand so well.

Yes I know these are dolls only bringing it up since so many people are directly relating it to reality. I agree with prior statements, I'd probably like this body more if it had more curvy hips to go with it. But gigantic gravity defying boobage isn't really my thing even if that were the case. LOVE their faces though. Something about the makeup makes me like them better in these pictures than in the other versions they sell. *steals head and faceup to put on a not busty body*

    13. Being the owner of a "large bust" myself, I think the thing which bothers me about these models is that the bust is not properly shaped. A natural breast tends to appear to be a bit flatter on the top, and a bit rounder on the bottom, simply because of the effects of gravity.

I do agree that in real life, one need not be heavy to have a large bust, nor are all large busts the result of plastic surgery. However, IMHO, these particular dolls appear to have have "falsies" because of the shape, NOT the size, of their busts. (I think of the cartoon I saw many years ago: "What did they implant in that poor woman's chest? Great scott, they must have used cantaloupes!") They really do have an unnatural missile-nosecone sort of shape that I find bothersome.

I wish they had given the bust pieces a more naturally-weighted appearance to them. :(

    14. In all fairness, they're hard plastic, though -- they're going to have to decide if they're 'in a dress perky', as in a bra look, or 'out of a dress natural', which, let's face it, is going to not be shaped like that forever without a bra if they grew that way on their own, and that would be a much harder to dress doll body.

It's why I don't actually mind the existence of those 'squishy', gumby-like dolls which do seem more aimed toward guys and the aforementioned hentai market -- the real things do squish around and droop or bubble over things, though the kind of resin in these isn't going to do that. All sizes (and even most of the fake ones) do that, it just tends to be a little more noticeable in the naturally-endowed, "My, aren't we looking three dimensional today!" ladies.

If they made a 'natural shape' bust piece and a 'wearing the push up bra' version bust piece you could change to go with different clothing or have for a nude? I don't do much with nude anything, but I definitely would have liked that. I have a feeling they'd be getting more grief about it, though, if they went that route, since it would seem like too much 'attention to that area' in some way. (But I still would have liked it if they'd done it.) I have the same problem with any size bust with my girls, though.

I have a few bras that create that same 'Oh, did Dee have a shelf installed just below her neck?' look. One of them came with push-up pads. Truly. I looked at that and promptly howled with laughter before yanking them out. (Why?! Just... why??? It really was the funniest thing ever. Well, no, the funniest thing ever was one of the cats thinking it was the best new toy ever and chasing the pad around the bedroom while I tried it on with a nice shirt, but I digress.) It's still a little small on me and it does exactly that effect -- as in, one sneeze and it's allllllll over. I showed those to my fiance last night and he promptly cracked up, too, thinking about the same thing. If I take it off, though... oh, yes, the girls migrate southward at a pretty quick clip.

They actually tempt me for historical style costumes that involve corsetry in a big way, though. It'd be easy enough to build the hip outward to visually balance the bust since, dressed, it's hard to tell the difference, and it's not like it's possible to pinch in a doll's waistline when it's hard resin, too. They're slim enough that the bust/waist ratio would work out well for a dramatic effect and they do, indeed, look pre-boosted. I'd love to have a flock of them scattered over a vanity in various bits of wild Victorian or Rococo frippery.

    15. Personally I think they are awesome xD and I don't mind the push up look o.o

    16. you know, I saw these dolls and like most others I was.. err.. surprised? :sweat
I'm not opposed the the big bust part
I have a "big bust" doll, but after seeing these dolls.. pssh. Colette looks like a preteen compared to these ladies!
anyway, I only got the big bust so they would look more.. natural, and less perky (as minifees are famous for).
but.. yeah, the gravity-defyingness of the boobs kind of kills it for me.
it would be great if they had the curvy hips to match!

    17. I personally adore Dollmore Model girls, and quite like these two new girls too. I think their bust make those already-released lingerine sets (as provided by surreality:
http://www.dollmore.net/shop/step1.php?number=3118) looks much prettier. I wanted to have those lingerine sets on my normal bust model girl at first, but then I quitted after comparing the pictures. They just won't look that good on my girl! And, I like both Eva and Leah's face-up too.

    18. I kinda like the whole package of the black LE Eva Louise. I never liked her standard face-up, but this just works as a whole, so I ordered her. As far as her bust is concerned that's a plus since I already have 6 female model doll body's and I didn't need another identical one. If they had released a model doll body with a smaller than standard bust, I would also have bought it.

    19. I don't find it at all disgusting or weird when a company makes their dolls look sensual or poses them in beautiful underwear. Seriously, I think it's a part of the human beauty and a doll is a miniature human after all.

Besides, when it comes to Dollmore and underwear/any kind of clothing, they usually shows their boys off about the same way as their girls and I haven't seen anyone here complain about that yet, so flame me to death if you wish. DOLLMORE BANZAI! ^o^

    20. I just had to show these to my husband. His first and only comment was "Well, I guess that's the way to get guys into your hobby." :sweat

I'm not against larger chests. I just think these look like somebody stapled balloons to the doll's ribcage. There must be a better way to model a larger bust on a doll. (FYI, I'd feel the same if they made a male doll with a giant package. Sure, it happens in real life. But it probably doesn't look like that.)

However, I do think the faces are lovely.
