Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD.     7. Sorry, that was probably my fault. I have plenty to chit chat about though, specifically related to DM eve's.
      I had the stupidest accident when I was washing my doll. Her wrist part splashed out of the bowl and went down the drain, never to be recovered. I ordered new hands from DM, but they are very different from the original hands. I think they are a bit too defined and long fingered. They are ok for now, but do any of you know what other hands would be good for DM eve that are more like the original?

      Of all my SDs, my Mio's hands are my favorite. I didn't know Dollmore changed the hands. I like how delicate they are (at least the old ones).

    9. Did you get the glamor eve hands? They may be different than the normal eve hands. I didn't even see where normal eve hands are available...
      Maybe dollpire hands would be the same? They might be able to be sanded to a more normal nail length.
      I don't have DP hands for eve but the Adam and DMK DP hands are like the normal ones....

    10. The eve hands were listed as the same part as the glamor eve. This is how it is described on the DM site:

      There are one pair of long nails hand set for Dollmore EVE dolls~!
      They will be shipped with the wrist parts as shown.
      This part fits well on Dollmore EVE - Chami, Ohoo, Liebe/Glamor Eve Doll/Dollpire EVE.
      But the dollpire hands have that same defined look that doesn't fit my character, even without the nails. I may end up getting "gentle" hands like Asleep Eidolon has, but I'm not sure how they would look on a DM eve.
      Here is a pic of the difference in hands, new ones on the left and old on the right. See the tendons on the new hands where the others are smooth across the top?

      Have you tried switching out the wrist pieces? I did that with my Kara Klum when one of them broke (don't ask me how I managed that, I have no idea). I bought him new hands and just used a wrist part from one of them. They might not fit if the hands are that different, but it would be worth a try....

    12. That was my original plan, I even have a dremmel to sand it to match, but they are very different sizes. The old hand hook doesn't fit inside the new wrist part, and if I hollowed it out it would bust through.

    13. That's so strange! I swear they used to have a separate short-nailed hand set listed for the Eves. I know because I had considered getting it for Brigitte because I wasn't sure I would like the long-nailed hands. I love her hands very much though. Good luck figuring out a solution :( Maybe you can find some secondhand (no pun intended!)?

      Would like to join in the discussion on this thread, particularly with regards to the new guy Sion Yoon. My initial reaction was that he looks interesting but wasn't for me and then this last hour, I'm visualising this wonderful character for him.

      What do you guys think of him? I see lots of potential! :)

    15. I saw him too, I especially love his nose and faceup. Somehow i don't like that wig on him, and I don't know why...

      I think he's a great and distinctive sculpt. Nayuta Kenzo remains my favorite though. Both of them have structure to their faces, not smooth,very manly :)

    16. Finley - I definately agree with you about the styling!!:) Dollmore's presentation of their dolls always seems to be a litte off... that wig just seems to flatten his head, I think! On the whole, it's great to see a different sculpt look for a change!;)

    17. Is it just me, because I own one, but doesn't Sion Yoon look like a much younger Unidoll Jace? I think it's the full lips, and the delineation of the cheeks and jaw.

    18. He's definitely more masculine than the Adams have been in the past. I'm happy they're moving toward more mature dolls, but I'm not sure how that will work with the body. He almost looks to me like he should be tall and ripped, not soft and puny like my boys are. XDD

      I love the face though...not so much the boxers XD
      But hey that's what we're for! To make them nicer looking!!

      Speaking of, I've been looking at those Souldoll outfits lately too and I really wonder if the Double size will fit Adams. My first thought is NO since nothing does, but if it's close I can still make it work.
