I agree that I dislike her styling, but I think with the right "look" she'll be just as beautiful as OE Mio!

I was wondering if anyone could post detailed measurements for the Dollmore Adam boys? I've head a lot about them being shorter than dollmore says- but are the other measurements accurate? Thanks

 

They're not. I am not at home atm, but I can tell you off hand the waist is 19cm...not whatever is listed....That's the only one I know without having them in front of me measuring...Not really helpful am I? XD

 

Gaahh I love everyone's dolls in this thread! I always overlooked Dollmore's dolls (as I'm sure a lot of people do unfortunately...) but now I'm in love with Mio,Kara Klum and Claudia Neel! The new dreaming Mio is gorgeous,aswell! It's too bad that only a handful of people on DoA own DM Youth dolls, it's really hard to find owner pictures of all those dolls....

Ok here they are, in centimeters

Waist: 19
Low on hips: 21
Leg (all the way from foot to hip ball): 33
Largest part of the thigh (circumference): 14
Chest: a smidge over 24
Shoulders: 12 accross
Torso:18 (tall)
Neck (circumference): 9
arm from wrist to shoulder: 19
and height: 58cm

If I missed anything, let me know. I don't sew so I don't really know what's typically done with measurements^^;

 

VA13-- The hip measurement should be the widest part of the hip, which usually includes the butt. If that's what you mean by "low on hips," then those look great to me.

I can't believe he's only 58 cm tall! The company page says he's 63! That's really misleading.

Little update: I got the body I ordered for Maunier, but her little head looks too small for it. I'm on the hunt for a smaller one, so it will be a while before she appears. Fortunately, another of my floating heads fit the body, so at least something was accomplished. I think Dollmore plays fast and loose with their doll heads and I don't think they are very consistent. Maunier's face is small on that head, so even though it seems to be the same size as the other Eve heads, her features look very small and young. I had the same problem with one of the Narsha friend doll heads. It was too small for the Narsha body and I had to put it on a smaller one. I guess DM had some complaints because now they sell that head on the little 26cm body. I think Maunier would look about right on a Zaoll body.

 

I don't think I went low enough This time I measured all the way to his hip-balls (XD) and got 22cm. not much diff. He's got a round butt, but it's still small enough to fit in and be too small for pretty much every pair of pants in existence. Cause I've tried most of them.

Lol I know. I honestly think these are the measurements for the original DM body and they never bothered to change them! Who knows why.

I actually have an Eve head on a Zaoll body and I think it looks ok, so it would probably be great for Maunier! I've always thought that they make both adams and eves to fit the adam body which has a thicker neck because my Fine seems to be too big for her body. It's not enough so that I think it looks wrong, but it's not like my Kara Klums. and the neck hole is so big I have to suede her or she's crazy. At least you could probably use an Eve head as a boy! Though there's only a few that I think could pull it off. DM makes some womanly looking women with those lips these days.

 

Thanks, this is good to know! I really want her for a girl, so will have to wait a bit until I can swing the Zaoll body. I wish DM would just sell all their bodies by themselves so that you could just buy the Zaoll body without the head. Such a nuisance to have to hunt everywhere, then wait until one has funds in place.

 

Srsly, I had to buy one on the MP, but I got really lucky that someone was selling just a body, and it was already partially modded to a boy! Though it might be better, especially for you, to buy one on the MP, a "yellowed" Zaoll will match a little better. Brand new they're still very close, but mine got closer with age. And by age, I mean a year XD that's how old he is.

 

Does anyone have both a kara klum and dollshe saint? I'm considering between two dolls to shell a character of mine, but I'm really trying to see how They look next to my saint.

 

I don't have a Saint and a Kara Klum, but after tomorrow, I will have a different Dollshe and Biwol. If you're wondering about the height difference, I could take a photo. I bought Biwol to be the girlfriend of my Saint, who has been on order forever.
