    1. In general, I like to not draw too much attention to myself. I may go with a friend with me, but personally, I think pigs will fly before a person like me brings her doll, alone. lol

    2. I've thought of taking my dolls out in public with me before, but never to the mall. For me there just wouldn't be much point to do it.

    3. Absolutley never to the mall near me--there's always crazy amounts of people, and lots of theft...lots of it...i would be holding her so tight i might break her. Unless I go to a meet or will do a photoshoot I doubt I'll ever take them out in public

    4. I bring my dolls with me places (I'm sitting in the library as we speak with my MSD) before dolls I brought stuffed animals places with me. I kinda feel naked without having that extra thing with me since I've always done it. It doesn't hinder my ability to look around, shop for what I need to, and the like. I haven't dropped my dolls, gotten them dirty, etc. I've taken them to conventions maybe that's why also because conventions are as hectic as all get go. But eh to each there own. I like bringing my dolls places, some people don't. It's all a matter of opinion on what people like and what people don't like.

    5. I have, but I usually take a tiny, and they fit in my purse. It's really fun to take them to the American Girl store in DFW area! It is amusing to see the kids looks as they are very different from the dolls there. The staff is always nice and I can see if any of the furniture is to scale! I've taken mine to Wal-mart, the zoo, A-kon, build-a-bear, and they loved to see me and my friend bring in our dolls, they remembered us!

    6. its the only place i dont bring them.
a)because when i'm shopping I dont want to have to carry my dolls too.
b)i dont wanna end up on peopleofwalmart.com xDD
i dunno, mall is just NOT the place to bring doll.

    7. I've gathered that malls here in Finland (and Europe in general) differ quite a lot from malls in the USA, being much more spacy and much more like a collection of boutiques connected with wide hallways than the Wallmart type of malls, so things are a tad different here, but anyways...
I usually avoid taking dolls with me in public unless I have a reason, for example a meet up, or a photo shoot. So I usually don't have a reason to take my dolls into malls, unless I'm going to a meet up in a café in the mall. The only exception is when I've gone to a mall to buy accessories for my dolls - then it's only natural that I take the doll in question along so that I have a proper way of measuring scale and such :)

    8. Ugh. I'd be too afraid to take a BJD somewhere like that. I'd rather play it safe than end up having something happen.

    9. Depends on the mall and why I'm there. I won't take them when I take my brother school shopping because I don't have a reason to. I'll probably take my Benny to the Galleria when she gets here because there's a huge American Girl store and some of the AG accessories and props are super cute. I did take my LittleFee to a restaurant once when I picked up my husband; it was either leave the doll in the car in July or take him in.

    10. Actually I brought my Ai to the mall yesterday, but it was more out of concern for her own safety of leaving her in the hot car than "hey I'm going to bring my doll to the mall for lulz."

Actually I was originally only transporting Ai from my house to my mates house and he wanted to go shopping along the way. My mate was worried that leaving her in the car might damage her (and as she's a limited she can't be easily replaced) and I debated whether or not to leave her there in the car. In the end I took her inside with me, along with a small backpack for when I don't feel like carrying her. My mate was happier that I brought her with me. I got little if any attention... probably because she's MSD sized so probably wasn't as noticeable. Though I did make a little girl who was playing with her new Build a Bear in the food court drop her jaw as I was passing by. And a lady at Wendy's complemented Ai. But other than that it was uneventful.

Would I take her again? Her, probably as she's small enough to tuck into my side but only if I'm shopping for her and I have a backpack to put her in. I doubt I would ever want to bring my bigger girl.

    11. I don't like the typical human fare that malls attract, and I tend to avoid subjecting myself to that, much less my dolls...

    12. The only reason I would take my doll to the mall is because my fabric store is there. Aside from that, I would just feel too worried about heat, dust and hyperactive poorly controlled children.

    13. the mall, i doubt i would take any of mine there.. i've taken one to burger king though, we went there after i did a photoshoot, but that's cause i didn't want to leave him in the car, i got some cute pics though.^.^

    14. If I have my doll with me and we happen to stop at a mall for some reason, I will definitely take my doll with me. There is no way I am leaving them in the car! My BF looks at me funny the few times I've taken one of my brood out and we've stopped somewhere for dinner, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

As a general rule of thumb, the kids don't leave my apartment. I don't trust the world at large.

    15. Naw. I don't think it's safe (I don't trust myself to keep them safe either, lol!) and would rather shy away from public attention/stares.

    16. I will not take my doll to the mall 。
Most person can not accept them , they are noly curious about him,I do not want to let a stranger touch his face or body。
If you want to take your doll out to play, you can participate in meetings with doll friends。
It would be safer and more interesting!

    17. Noooo, I would never take one to the mall! Unless it's my tiny, that is, 'cause he'll fit in my pocket. I work security at a mall, so I'm well aware what sorts of weird things happen there.

The only other time I'd take 'em is if there's a meet being held there, seeing as one of my local meets is hosted in a mall. But while I'm shopping? Nooo way.

    18. There's a new art store opening in a close by mall to me. I really have the urge to take my doll there because I feel people will be less weirded out in an artistic environment. I love carrying my SD outside with me, but I'm trying to find somewhere I can take it where I won't get dirty looks and whispers. I'm sensitive...but at the same time determined to express myself and be brave XD

Has anyone ever taken their doll to a Hot Topic? My doll is goth because it reflects a side of me that is long gone...I thought it would be pretty hilarious to take my doll to a store like that. I don't know if the reactions I get will be better or worse at this kind of store.

    19. I have no shame, I take at least one everywhere I go, and I've taken my DZ guy to the mall more than once, and I didn't care or have issues. So what if they stare? They could be staring at me (my hair looks insane most of the time) or the doll, either way they have to be really bored to be staring. I don't have time to stare at other customers when I'm shopping, except to make sure I don't touch anyone.

    20. I've taken my dolls to the mall with me a few times. I used to feel sort of obligated to try and bring them out with me, like it was an initiation thing or something. XD The few times I've taken them with me I've only gotten positive feedback from the general populace (and a lot of strange looks haha). I actually had two people get really interested in my dolls and ask a lot of questions about them. One time was the owner of a cute little Hello Kitty/anime store and I had Makenshi (my Abio Angel Er..an SD) and she thought he was super cool and was asking me where I got him and how much he cost and where she could get one! :D That was pretty cool, I'll admit. The other time one of the ladies working at a kiosk in the center of hall called me over to ask about my MNF I was holding. She thought he was huge..haha I think he's pretty small, but I'm used to SD's. She loved everything about him until I told her how much he cost..

All times I bring them out I'm with friends or family who I know will protect me and my doll should something happen. :)
