I'm going to revive this thread because I was thinking about this today and didn't want to make a new thread if one was already set up, so yes! I had a doll that cosplayed as Hiccup from How to Train Your Dragon and now I have one that will just be my constantly switching cosplay boy. He'll have his normal outfits too (once I actually get/make some, that is) but then I also have plans to make him into a few characters starting with Mikleo from Tales of Zestiria (my current icon). After that, we'll see where my mood takes me

I tried. I got a couple cosplay outfits for two of my dolls, but I ended up deciding I wanted the characters themselves as dolls. Now I have two more dolls.
When I get my FID Grace in (which should be today!) she will be cosplaying characters as well as being her own character. I'm already planning the cosplay.
I just found this thread, and saw that @juni-fee was trying to revive it. I have dolls that cosplay and they sometimes go with me to cons too. I have no interest in making fandom character dolls, but definitely want my dolls (who are all original characters) to cosplay them instead. I have a lot of plans! So far I only have my Syr (Crobidoll Lance girl) cosplaying Motoko Kusanagi from Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. Eventually I'll commission/sew more accurate versions of her outfit. My dolls were chosen for their looks to be cosplayers across multiple manga and anime. I have a few photos on my Deviant Art, but never had time to really get things done. Now, I plan on taking care of that!
My dolls constantly cosplay. They have a lot of Dollfie outfits and wigs for this. They have 3 Miku wigs but we don't have a Miku. Haruhi Suzumiya is another character my girls love to cosplay as. I've thought about dressing up my new Super Dollfie as Miku but I don't know if that would be right. I'm not sure she'd fit into any of her outfits either. Fortunately I have a Dollfie Dream Dynamite, so our Super Dollfie should be able to wear most of those outfits.
I did not have energy or time past Halloween. But this year I really hope I can do it!! I will be having two 1/3 full girl dolls soon that I can do Practical Magic cosplay… Make the whole Addams family maybe. I have one Ghibli movie in mind to recreate sometime too
I got into dolls because I didn't want to buy fabric yardage for human-sized cosplays. So the plan is to make cosplays for 1 doll that turned out being an official character doll. So I guess she is cosplaying.
