Dolls with the same hair color as you?

No, none of my dolls have hair that resembles mine, I have a unusual shade of red brown hair. Though, Crobidoll does have a wig that looks and is cut just like my hair, and im allways messing with everyone saying that i am going to buy it and make my doll look like me. ( I would never do that , it would be to wierd )

 

My hair color is black and I like black hair, too. But I tend to dress my dolls with different hair colors like blonde or red, cuz I cant have those color myself!

 

I've never had a red-headed doll. Now that I'm thinking about it, I would love that! Twinsies! Haha! I've seen some gorgeous ginger dolls on flickr. *-*

 

Mine's a brown with red and blonde highlights, depending on time of year. More blonde in summer, and more red in winter. In water it's black! But if I could find a wig like that, yes, I'd buy it.

 

Seems I do. My hair is a deep black brown. All of my dolls either have the same or pure black except 2 one is a very deep wine and the other is a mix of black and purple. I generally prefer dark hair on guys.

 

Alys's hair vaguely resembles mine. Sort of. Then again, she's based on a roleplay character of mine whose bright blonde hair is symbolic of lots of things, and my hair is blonde.

 

I have dark hair and most of my dolls do too. Maybe it is subconscious.
I think I just like dark hair! I love ginger too and have several gingers.

 

I have blond/reddish hair and green eyes... I have only one doll with these features, his name is Reiner (actually a male)!
I wasn't aware of this until I came back to my original hair color. We also dress in a similar way... but this wasn't planned at all, I wonder if he is manipulating me in the shadows: he is the one with more clothes and pictures, afterall X°D
Oh well, I'm definitely not charming as him... and our personalities really differ a lot, so he is not like some sort of version of me, but the coincidence is quite funny!

 

I am an augmented red-head myself. Two of my three diva dolls (they know who they are) are both red-heads, though one plays with black occasionally (he's a vampire) and the other has gone blonde from time to time. The third is red-blonde. Another doll recently settled on ginger. But I have blondes, black headed dolls and brunettes as well. The only thing I don't have is white or grey. I've got wigs in both colors but my dolls don't wear them much.

My dolls decide. I've got a new boy who is supposed to be brown haired, who snatched the latest ginger wig that came in the door and is wearing it in open defiance of my wishes. Arggggh.

 

I am a brunette, but I tend to like dolls who have fantasy hair colors like white, blue, green, purple... Currently my doll has a blonde and a white wig and right now she is wearing the white. I think I like the colors that part of me would like to try on myself, only I am too afraid to actually do it.

 

Heh heh... I have brown haired dolls, like my natural hair colour, but I also have five or six pink haired ladies- my hair is pink most of the year around too ;D

 

I couldn't find a wig with my hair color. I have a white streak similar to Anna Paquin's Rogue in the X-Men movies set in black hair (always have had). If I did find one I'd probably buy it and put it on a doll.

 

Since i dye my hair all the time this topic is kinda hard xD but i have found that most of my characters are blond~ im a natural blond and i hate my natural color xD

 

Oddly enough, none of my dolls have the same hair color as me. My original doll was supposed to have my hair color, but the wig I got just didn't work out. Some day I would like a doll with blonde hair though.

 

Considering I have black hair and it's the most common hair colour ever, this is unavoidable *lol*. Currently I have two dolls that have black hair.

 

I wouldn't deliberately try to get a doll in the same hair color as mine (which is blonde on the top layer and dark brown on the bottom layer, so that'd be hard to do *anyway*). I don't strongly prefer certain colors. My characters have their set hair colors, so their dolls get corresponding wigs as close to their style as I can.

 

Actually, I'm leaning towards the same hair color for my doll as my own--black. But I made her with the intention that she'd have a light brown/dark blonde mane. After getting a variety of wigs, though, I'm beginning to think black just looks best with her skin tone. Similarly, I've changed my mind about her eyes and discovered that with black hair, her skin, and freckles, blue looks best. (Mine are brown.) So...yeah, she has the same hair color as me, but only coincidentally.

Now that I think about it, I don't think I've ever made a roleplay character in a video game that looked anything like me. They're usually either way darker or way lighter, and rarely with black hair. Weird!

 

My girl has blonde. Because it just suited her better than any other colour (my personal preference that is). It brang out her eyes more and the pink in her cheeks. (:

 

Until a few months ago, my hair was bright dark purple, which I see plenty of dolls wearing every day. But now my hair is on hiatus while I figure out what to do with it next, so the purple has mostly faded out, and now my hair is salt-and-pepper (grey/brown) with a mauve tinge on the ends-- and I have NEVER seen a doll (or wig) with that color hair before.

Actually, I would enjoy seeing a middle-aged female doll who's letting the grey come in & rockin' it au naturel. However, that would require admitting that women age, which Asian doll manufacturers will never do, and that women can age attractively, which Asian doll manufacturers would rather die than do. xD

My own dolls have never matched my hair, although some of them have matched my past hairdos (I've done every color of the rainbow ^^). However, I have noticed that many of my dolls wear olive-green eyes, and many of them are just the same shade of olive as mine...! And, many of my dolls do wear the same kind of boots I wear. I guess vanity asserts itself in its own way.

 

..I may or may not have used my dolls wigs as reference when talking about how I want to highlight my hair because my hair stylist wasn't getting it. Until recently, my dolls have all had black hair, but now I'm drawn to lighter colors, and 2 of my dolls have blonde thats a pretty close to mine. It wasn't intentional, - it's just i like that shade of blonde, and was trying to achieve it for myself, and it happened to suit two of mine. So it happened.
