Dolls with the same hair color as you?

I don't own a single doll of any type with the same hair color as me. xD I don't like my hair color, it's brown, and I find dolls with brown hair rather boring.

 

One of them has blue hair.. and no, I don't.
Two have black hair. I used to have black hair, but now it's darkbrown with pink.
So no, none of my dolls have the same haircolour or hairstyle as me.

 

I love my hair, (long, reddish-gold) but I didn't intend to make a character with my colour. I am realizing that my new doll will be somewhat close, though... more brownish red, but well, you want what you like, right? I do really love perfectly black hair too, so I'm almost certain I'll have a fair-skinned, dark-haired doll in the future too.
It wasn't intentional, but it seems to have happened.

 

My dolls tend to change wigs/wig colour every other week, so I cannot really claim that any of mine have the same colour hair as myself. I'm sure at some point they may have though, haha~.

 

Only one of my dolls even has hair anywhere close in colour to mine and even then my hair is golden blonde and his is pale blonde. My one doll that was supposed to have hair nearly identical to mine somehow ended up a redhead instead! I tend to like hair colours that are something that would never look good on me...hence i have quite a few dolls with outlandishly coloured hair. I wouldn't look any good with hair that colour...but they do!

 

Naturally, I have dark brown hair. I'm honestly sick of the color, seeing as it's been on my head for so many years, but I don't actively try to avoid my dolls having brown hair. It happens anyway XD I have (planned) two blue haired dolls, one bright red redhead, a dirty blonde girl, a bald anthro, and a black haired girl. I can't really see myself with a brown haired doll o_O
I do dye my hair black a lot because I think it's a very striking color with how pale I am. My black haired girl is a white skinned doll, so there may be a connection there XD

 

Most of my doll have the same hair color as mine, natural black since it suits most of my family ^_^
I do change their color several times, according to my mood, but they stay longer in natural black one

 

I have two dolls with a darker brown/black haircolor, which from time to time matches the tone of my darkpurple hair xD
But I got myself a hotpink wig in the same color as my girls' hair ^^ reverse order but still sweet xD

 

Nah. Not anymore. For a brief moment in time one of my dolls was a brunette such as I am, but the look just simply didn't suit him and he's now sporting a beautiful teal wig instead. It's not because I don't find brown hair unattractive and for my future twins their planned wigs shall both be dark brown and I doubt I'll change my mind on that but you never know how things will change. I really enjoy variety in wig colors and though I do have natural hair colors among my boys I also love seeing what I can get away with in terms of more fantasy colors.

 

My dolls have all different colors of hair from me except for my Supia Rosy who has the exact same wig color as my hair is, a reddish brown. It was really just a coincidence that it worked out that way. I really loved the faceup that she had when I bought her and I found a Leekeworld wig that I thought would compliment it and it turned out to be the exact same shade as my hair.

 

I don't have my dolls yet but the only wigs I've bought so far are blonde ones. I'm naturally brunette and have only been blonde for a short period of time. I think if I ever buy a girl she will have darker hair like me.

 

I think I do. I mean, Frederick has white hair but Amalia has light brown and I tend to be drawn towards brown wigs so I guess in a way I do tend to give my dolls the same colour as I have.

 

i give my dolls what suits them best~
but sometimes i go to the doll party or meet someone who likes the doll too,i will make the doll have the same hair color with me ~
that makes we just like mother and children~

 

I love brown hair, dark and light, and I have noticed that I always want to put my dolls in brown hair so I try especially hard not too look at brown wigs. My hair is currently my natural chestnut color, which I love, but it has been everything from blue/black, bleach blond, orange and every shade of red. I would really like a doll with a soft pink colored wig. I hadpink hair a couple years ago..

 

My doll is mostly a red head, and I'm a brunette. My hair color plays no part in my preference for my dolls wigs. In fact, I think I kind of avoid purchasing wigs close to my color, because I'm not too fond of it.

 

I have black (with brown-and-grey roots ^^) hair, with purple top-and-sides... so far I've never found a suitable wig that matched my hair, so no, none of my boys wear that. Yet. Anything's possible. ^^ I haven't really looked for one, though. These guys have several bins full of wigs to choose from, in all colors, and many of them change haircolor constantly. Many of them have settled on One True Wig, but I have just as many chameleons. After all, with all the colors of fur wig out there, why limit oneself?

When the Mommy-and-Me thing DOES come into play, it's when one of the dolls & I wear the same shoes to a meetup. I wear a lot of boots that look like DollHeart or Volks made them.

 

I have never really thought about it but my doll right now has brown hair just like me, but it wasn't on purpose I just thought it looked nice. Hair color doesn't really matter that much to me, its really what ever suits the character. I usually like white hair on dolls If I had to pick a color. But generally I don't really think about it that much.

 

I don't. My doll isn't me. He's unique and special in his own way, and his style should reflect that.

 

unfortunetly black hair is pretty common, sometimes it just suits them, like it suits me. which is odd, i don't do it intentionally as in "My hair is black, i would like a character with black hair" and besides, my hair is subject to change to whatever i want, just like the wigs. so it sort of just happens, and then i realize when some one points out my doll or dolls and i look similiar. it's sort of comical.

 

My hair is dark brown and all my doll have varying shades of brown hair ranging from Kaelyn's light brown to Solana's almost black hair. I think it stems from when I was young and played with barbies. I was always so angry that the majority of barbies had blonde hair. If you were lucky there would be a black haired doll or a red head but almost never brown.
