Dolls you want.... that don't exist!

More bats! My boyfriend has a bat OC and we have been trying to find a good doll for him but there is very little out there and what I can find I don't really like ><

 

No creative but greedy answers from me :

• Would love for Dollmore to resize some more of their Trinity Dolls (LUMIE LUMIE LUMIE) like they've done with Elysia and Kate! So not too unrealistic of a wish. They also released Zaoll Luv as a Trinity doll recently.
  
• To continue with the resizing wishes, I'd probably die if Luts released a Baby Delf Ani or Aru, but with my luck they'll instead end up discontinuing the Baby Delf line altogether.

 

Starting to seem like to me my ability to get a cute cyclops doll doesn’t exist since all the companies who use to make them are retired or they are not detailed enough for my specifications.

 

I want a red bjd, especially one that reminds me of Karlach from the BG3 game.

this is my project girl, Acyra (started her way before BG3 released but she looks like Karlach). She was originally a soom Garrion head, and à loongsoul 73 cm body that I modded boobs onto, because I wanted her taller and buffer than any “female” body I wanted to use. I then tossed the entire modded body into a batch of RIT dyemore racing red.

if you want a red bjd, and you’re not into any of the companies that will colour match, à quick bit of RIT dyemore racing red will get you the very vivid red colour.

 

I would love for Volks to release dolls in the Icon colors outside of the limited Icon releases. I really want a little MDD alien girl in that mint green color.

 

I know a few people that say if you want a bjd a certain color, find it and dye it yourself. But, I feel there's just something a little extra to bjds where the sculptor says to themselves "this has to be red" or "I want to sculpt a red bjd". And, the Garrion head is one of those examples. I don't even know why I think there's a difference between "birthed as red" and "forced to be red". If I was creative enough to design and make it myself and dye it, I would.

There's one bjd I can't bring myself to buy because it has to be 800-900 USD before import fees from Europe and it's only 1/6. (I think that's the price regardless of color.) So, if I don't get along with her, I can't imagine the loss of inverstment. And, there are probably none second hand either.
By the way, your Acyra is beautiful. I know I want to try modding way in the future. But, did you start small with her, or jump right in? (I'm the silly person that would jump right in, btw.) How patient were you with this whole mod?

 

Thank you so much. I modded her because I had the body for one of my Very Bad Ex’s characters, and it didn’t immediately sell, so I wanted to do something to change it. The character was so tall that I knew I wouldn’t find a female body buff or tall enough, so she was a perfect candidate for modding. All I’d modded before this girl was a neck hole that was too big and too deep, so she was me jumping right in, and my next mod project was more unhinged than her. She was my first big mod project. Am I patient? Usually not, but I have executive dysfunction (my brain does not like initiating tasks), so I’ve slowly chipped away at this project as I’ve had the juice. She’s not actually done being modded (still needs wings and a tail).

she’s also one of 2 (soon to be 3) red dolls I have. The other one was NS when I got her, and honestly looks better to me in red than she did in NS, but I do a lot dyeing, so I think I’m just used to seeing dolls in different colours. I also used to edit them different colours in the photoshop app, to see how they’d look before I dyed them.

 

A new Volks SDC sculpt in white skin... It's been so long since their last one in 2017... And never have amy white skin available.

Honestly, I was so disappointed when Volks released latest new mini boy from Journey to the Dream Night in SDM

There's so many SD sculpts I like that I really wish were available as a 1/4 size or even smaller (particularly mature looking dolls but in 1/4 size) although I am seeing some small mature sculpts cropping up I'm still pretty picky regarding the sculpts.

 

I would like an Impldoll Imara head in 1/4 size. If IG could also create 1/4 doll heads, I would try to collect em all.

 

A doll that is a cross between Supia and Dollshe sculpting styles!

 

Dolls that are stylized in a cartoony-anime way, think Panty and Stocking. Forest Doll Cartoon exists, and I have it, but I want MORE.
