Dolls You're Planning to Buy

I’ve been eyeing up a Resinsoul elf for a while. I don’t plan on having a big collection (ask me in five years if I stuck to that) and I don’t want to wipe the company face up of my SartoriaJ doll when she arrives, so I’d love to have a more affordable doll to tinker with rather than just make clothes for.

 

Welp I found one (and a Goohwa) on here and they’ll be arriving within the next week or two!!!

 

I'm thinking of getting a Dollmore Suntan Pado (sleepy eyed) and Dollmore Dear Doll Apple boy in the future - either this year or even next year. Right now though, I'm planning to buy a Dollmore Trinity. I've been thinking of getting one for a while, so we'll see.

 

Ideally I would really like my next doll purchase to be secondhand. But I dont know when that will be! I have been thinking about Minifee Karsh for a bit, and curious about Fairyland/Minifee dolls in general. I would really like another boy doll hehe

 

I am looking for a dollshe Diana msd second hand. I know about the problems with this doll companie. That's why it is so difficult. But this mold is so amazing

 

I just realized… I don’t have any plans. There are dolls I want. I mean, I love getting new dolls. But, when I see them, there is this little voice whispering, “you have enough dolls.” And I guess that’s true. I love what I have now. I’m just looking for something to be excited about so there is a lot of window shopping going on.

 

I'm really tempted by the new Dream Valley VEX on the new muscular female body. She'd be just about perfect for one of my OCs, but I know if I got her I'd eventually want the other 3 main characters from that world in an appropriate scale and style... I'm still thinking about it, but I just might if I can save up some money for the next month or two.

I myself am hoping to buy a 60cm double jointed Supiadoll body this year. And maybe find a mediumg tall, curvy SD body with extra shoulder joints, in a dark skin tone. Oh, and preferably suitable hand options too. Lol good luck to myselfSculpt wise I am actually really happy with what I've got. Though I am still keeping my eyes open eitherway

 

For right now I'm focused on the 1/4 MSD dolls from Raccoon Doll. I ordered Henry & Ivy a couple weeks ago. When I can afford it I'd like to add Brendan, Damien, Annie & Nina to my collection. I plan to have them all "live" in my late 18th- early 19th century world. I have patterns on the way from Designs by Jude that I can't wait to put to use making outfits for them. I'm going to try my hand at making a kilt for Henry, wish me luck!

 

I really want the new oil painting body, but I have no idea what I would do about the head. I only like very realistic sculpts and most of those seem to be sold as a whole doll only. I don't want to buy a whole doll only to have a body sitting in the cupboard! So frustrating.

 

Ugh yes, that body is breathtaking. If only it weren't terribly out of any budget I could hope to put together.

As for me, when the stars align for me to do so, I intend to buy a Lillycat Chibbi Moon doll, in pretty much any resin color aside from transparent.

I think Nakanadoll sells standalone heads. They're very realistic and fit the aesthetic.

 

Hm, this year it’s either another Angelphilia or a Ringdoll not sure which yet…

 

I'm planning to get the ADVillage Kaia Raspberry Choco fullset, my first time getting a fullset or a 20cm doll, but I just can't resist the sweets themed faceup...

I've also been looking at the Dollzone Echo a lot, and hope to get her eventually, feeling very thankful she isn't limited! I've been looking around for more mature female dolls and she just felt perfect, even more so with the pointed ears and the possibility of fangs. Dollzone Sapphire would also make a very cool lady, but honestly I don't think I have the funds or the space for any 70cm dolls at the moment unfortunately :') I'd also love to get a Guard Love PPEI05 one day, and if Miu Shima ever does a release of Moon overseas, I'd grab that immediately lol.

I just saw the oil painting body on rednote a few days ago and didn't realize it'd be up for sale so soon, it's really lovely but I'd have no idea what head to pair with it.
