Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order.   2. Dollshe Craft and all dolls created by Dollshe, including any dolls created under his new or future companies, including Club Coco BJD are now banned from Den of Angels. Dollshe and the sculptor may not advertise his products on this forum. Sales may not be discussed, no news threads may be posted regarding new releases. This ban does not impact any dolls by Dollshe ordered by November 8, 2023. Any dolls ordered after November 8, 2023, regardless of the date the sculpt was released, are banned from this forum as are any dolls released under his new or future companies including but not limited to Club Coco BJD. This ban does not apply to other company dolls cast by Dollshe as part of a casting agreement between him and the actual sculpt or company and those dolls may still be discussed on the forum.     1. I hope when the new Dollshe site is up that things work well. I have had an awful time with IH since they put their new site up. I can not purchase using my browser but have to go in and use firefox. I had no problem with their old site but they seem unable to assist me - so have not been spending money at Iplehouse. ;) So fingers crossed that Dollshe does some testing on the site before it goes public.

    3. Wow, I think he's the most beautifully rendered doll I've ever seen! I'd been trying to resist but I think I'm going to have to scrape together the funds to buy him.

      it would be quite fun to dress him in Grecian robes and bring him to art museums with me.

    7. Someone asked on the Dollshe Q&A board about when they will take pre-orders and layaway.

      Dollshe...."We will be taking pre-orders after we post closeups and faceup photos soon. Layaway will be available".

      Not soon enough....LOL. I check everyday. :)

    10. I'm already getting tired of waiting his face's close up photos.. The feeling you don't know is he for you eventually before you see the face better >.< I don't want to plan anything if he's not the right guy argh!

      jo1961: I use chrome and safari, and firefox and IE sometimes as well, all of them works fine with Iplehouse sites.. Maybe the problem isn't Iple's site then.

    12. Iplehouse did tell me that others are having the same problem but they can not find an answer. I finally was able to put more than one item in my cart yesterday, as for the first time I saw cart and buy. Before I only saw buy and buy would only hold one thing in the cart at a time. I don’t know if IH has solved the problem, as I have not had an email from them.
      What were you thinking was the problem?

      But Dollshe seems to do a better job with their site so I expect they will make sure the bugs are out before opening that site. ;)

    14. Wow...just wow...I think this is about all I can muster for this amazing creation. He is freakishly lifelike. I would love to bring this guy home but he'd be on a shelf by himself for sure. The face up and body blushing on him are amazing.

      Anyways, the head choice disappeared but the sleeping head is included in the promo pics so I guess they're not really done updating?

      Edit: for some weird reason he reminds me of Eddie Redmayne. Does anyone else get that vibe? Or is it just the wig?

    16. Dunno about you guys but I think this face-up doesn't flatter the sculpt at all. He's doing the same thing he did with the other dollshe heads...

    17. He'll be up for presale from August 12, 2013 (it's already August 12, 2013 in Korea! <tap dancing>). Yeeehaw! This past two weeks have taken AGES!

      And now the long wait begins. Perhaps they'll surprise us and be timely this time? <heh! Riiight. And - Terry Pratchett books and other assorted mythos aside - there's actually a tooth fairy?>

      I ordered him without faceup -- their faceup was striking, but I found the deep red lips disquieting.

    18. I'm definitely not a fan of the red lips either or the styling of the face-up/outfit/wig, at this point I'm postponing buying him for a while (maybe the owner pictures will change my mind) since I preferred him in the original pictures (and the $100+ shipping cost!)

    20. I've got to say that I'm not a fan of the face up but he's still really cool.

      My husband though thought these photos reminded him of someone else ....Bobby Fisher in these photos
