1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Dollshe 28M discussion

    1. I'm wondering if DollShe will going to make a special event slae price as it was for Ausley, Mr. DollShe pretty please?;)

    2. Amen to that!

    3. Wow... wow wow wow...

Ok, honestly, Dollshe is usually not really my taste. But this? This is incredible. I like the elegance of Dollshe's hands, but I am not a fan of the very elongated stylization of the body. Here, it has all the detail, nuance, and grace of the sculpture and a fairly realistic body proportion.

      I love it, I love him! :D

He does not fit into my collection and would not match my other dolls' aesthetic at all (I collect stylized/boyish/"soft" aesthetic type dolls), but my goodness I am so tempted just because he is a work of art.

    4. Not a fan of dollshe but this.... holy cow... The body, muscles, hands, feets, everything is a work of art here! Mypocket will doommmmTvT

    5. *faints* As others have said, he is a true work of art. I absolutely love him!!

(Did they ever sell the Ausley bodies and heads separately? I'm hoping to be able to split this gentleman, because while he has a gorgeous Roman nose, I tend to prefer a slightly larger head-to-body ratio . . . but that doesn't mean that he isn't sheer sculpted perfection!)

Oh, and add me to the "my wallet is crying" group -- our medical bills have been AWFUL this year, I have no business even LOOKING at new dolls. I blame Jola for sending me over here for happy distractions from stress!! ;)

    6. I really really love this guy.
He is amazing. And im seriously thinking of changing my doll plans for this.....

    7. If they come with separate body and head, I would totally buy the body.

    8. Wow baby got back! Incredible body; absolutely love all the muscle details. I hope Dollshe will bring back the skinny guys though (but maybe more realistic body features?)

    9. Haha, I saw the description talking about how this guy would bring even the most jaded urban woman to her knees first and went "Ahahahaha yeah right..."

      ...Then the image switched.

:aeyepop: Was all I could muster.

    10. Okay....screw my wishlist. He's going to be mine and that's that!

Has anyone noticed in the fourth pic on their website how his head is practically falling off his neck? Like it wouldn't even fit? It says the head is 21cm but I'm thinking that might be a tad small.

    11. Hot damn, can't wait to see what people do with this sculpt! The level of detail and realism makes him a game changer in my eyes...

    12. Dagnabit, Dollshe! I had other plans. Thought it was time for another girl.

Now all I can picture is all my boys engaged in Greco-Roman Wrestling. :D

      And those toes....yeah, the toes....

    13. I like Dollshe. I do not like this. I cannot tell you how utterly disappointed I was to see him this morning. I respect everyone has differences in taste, but I don't like that they stopped their existing lineup for this. They've alienated much of their existing fanbase by eliminating what they were known for and trading it for something completely opposite. I'd like to see them offer the lines side-by-side rather than on a "this is all we have" basis, that way everyone wins. I no longer have any interest in Dollshe at this moment, and I know I am not the only one. I have to wonder if their current offerings will be as popular as their old lineup, and if it will keep them afloat or not.

    14. I understand where you're coming from but Mr Kim has always been quite vocal about being a sculpter & an artist and not necessarily someone who focused on the customer. I think the changes with Dollshe were maybe about boredom (I'm hypothesizing here!) and a change in interests & aesthetics rather than concious change in business model. For me, Dollshe has never really been about the business of selling dolls...

P.s. I love the sculpt! Though I have no idea how he would fit in with the rest of my crew :/

    15. Well I just got another email from Dollshe. Apparently I paid the wrong amount for shipping to the UK and they wanted more money. That's over $90 on shipping for one doll with 3 extra heads. I dread to think how much this guy would be to ship! It would make me think twice about it.

    16. It's beautiful, realistic. But I just liked the more original body.
We'll see how it will look live.

    17. What an incredible beauty!

    18. What you're saying is true. However, and this is just me, I think that's where it would have been good to start a side project, or to just add a new line to the existing offerings. Why stop everything else when it's been so successful? It's not like he has to sculpt what's being cast already. He abandoned the signature look entirely. Never a good move. Imagine if McDonald's suddenly decided they were going to stop making burgers and everything was going to be Chinese take out. That's what Dollshe did.

We'll just have to see how it goes for them. Of course, as I said, I like Dollshe. So, I want them to do well. I just hope this isn't the end of what we've all come to expect of Dollshe.

To focus specifically on this sculpt though, what don't I like about it?

Head doesn't fit well on the body- it seems a little awkward, joint in the chest is inelegant, forearms appear too short, and I'm not fond of the joints in the knees, and the expression is a little off-putting to me. At the same time, I do have to admit the detail is wonderful and it's nicely sculpted. It just doesn't.... well, feel like Dollshe.

And yes, shipping would have to be insane for this guy!

    19. Please allowed me roaring a while...
Oh, gosh, Dollshe's new guy looks very amazing, and this size very closely Soom ID guy, although this DS are little fat and than ID..I'm fall love into him..WoW~~
But just a little problem, that dollshe always like made guys ** looks very protrusion, so that the pants will hard for make patterns..I hate this structure.

    20. OMG I need him, I need him so bad! D8
Beautiful body!I hope he can wear EID-clothes, or that this will extend the supply of big boys cothes ._. <3
