1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Dollshe Classic 8B (39cm) Robin & 6G (35cm) Rosa

Oct 3, 2015

    1. I'm relieved to see that I'm not the only one who's disconcerted by their hands :sweat

    2. It's the high-heeled feet that get me... o.O

    3. That too! :XD:

Mr. Dollshe may need to go back to the drawing board or whatever, and re-do them before production. However I think I'm not going to get on this year-long train this time... :|

    4. I also ordered Rosa. I think that she will be adorable in the real skin colors. The clothing is going to be the challenge, but I looked at Dollmore Alexa body and although taller, the proportions are similar, but I am sure it's not easy to find clothes to fit.
She will also be my first from Dollshe, Belinda.

    5. Well I'll be making my own clothing for Rosa, so I won't have to worry about finding any. LOL. Theresa, you and are in the same boat. I think Rosa will fit in nicely with my little family of dolls.

    6. elfstone, I'm already looking forward to see what you will create for your Rosa. You always make such beautiful clothes for your dolls :D

As for me I just hope we won't be into another year of waiting until they will arrive, but with dollshe you just never know ;).

    7. Thank you Sharkyra! That's very sweet of you. I'm hoping it won't be as long as a year. :pout:

    8. We're all hoping that ^____^

    9. Do you think the long waits were because the artist was ill?

    10. To be honest I do not know. He was (and still is) ill, which slows down his working schedule considerably, but my best guess is that this is not the only reason. I think another big point is that he is very, very, very perfectionistic and will usually overwork and correct each doll even after they went on sale. Chances are we might even see some corrections on Rosa, before she will finally ship out. Who knows ;).

Though I do not really mind the wait anymore these days - and with Dollshe at least you know that you will be getting your doll, no matter when.

    11. I placed an order for Robin in Caramel brown. I wanted Rosa also but think that's pushing my limits on doll orders. I have no idea how he will look and no clothes for him (Iplehouse Jid may fit but be too big). As he's on Layaway I'm wondering if it's worth paying off early so I can get him sooner. Really excited though!!

    12. I have Rosa on order and I emailed Dollshe and want to know when she will be ready so i can pay it off. Have not heard anything yet. getting excited to have some info!

    13. I have sent another email and haven't gotten any response yet. No updates on my order page either. Does anyone know another way to contact him?

    14. DollShe generally does not start to make a doll until it is fully paid off, even though the website states that a doll will be poured once the second of three, or the third of four, payments have been made.

    15. Well, I did pay off my girl some weeks ago, but I don't expect mine to ship very soon. My last Dollshe order took almost one year to ship and somehow I can't imagine that Rosa will ship faster. (Although I really hope she will, of course xD )

    16. Ugh! I don't want to hear that! I'm really hoping she will ship in a month or so. Sigh.

    17. Hello :) I am not too familiar with Dollshe, but Rosa caught my eye. Am I seeing correct that there will be two sizes? (22CM &35CM).

    18. Yes they have the Fashion doll size Rosa and Robin dolls now that are smaller and I was a bit confessed when I saw the dolls pictured together at the size difference.

    19. Yeah, I didn't realise that until I got an email response from them when I emailed asking when my dolls would be ready ^^

All the more reason I'm tempted to pay it off sooner.

Also on a separate note, are Dollshe eyes worth the cost? $40 seems really steep.

    20. Nauticaa, will you please tell me when you heard back from Dollshe? I am still waiting for my answer.

I like the Dollshe eyes. $40 is not a bad price for urethane eyes.
