1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Dollshe Classic 8B (39cm) Robin & 6G (35cm) Rosa

Oct 3, 2015

    1. @MadamMauMau oh well, maybe I should give Glazki a try then, too. Which iris size would you recommend? The small or the normal?

    2. I am not sure. For adults, the small is the way to go. However, children have larger irises. Why not get one of each? They are that cheap.

    3. I think I'll try them out as well. I'm all about having different sources for eyes. :3nodding:

    4. Glazkis are by no means perfect, but they are a good way of getting odd sizes and small irises cheaply. I did a mini review of mine, which show their strengths and limitations. https://denofangels.com/posts/11982381/

    5. Why not, then I will get one of each and also a pair for my Grant (hopefully he will ship next).

    6. Just adding my Rosa to the thread. She is my first doll from the DollsheCraft and I'm definitely amazed by the quality of this doll not to mention the cuteness of her face and body. She has Leeke Word wig (6-7) and glass natural flatback paper weight eyes (10mm) from Kemper Doll Supplies. I looked trough Google images of the 5-6 years girls and think that irises look proportional for this age.

    7. Wow...very nice!!! I love her! I can't wait to get a faceup for mine....

    8. Beautiful Safray. Wonderful child. Her eyes look great.

    9. Loving all the Rosa pictures! Can't wait for my girl to arrive.:)

    10. Shipping notice today! So psyched to finally see my Rosa.

    11. Woohoo! That's what I like to hear!

    12. And she's here! Solid and chunky with the little belly. Very cute. Lots of hands! Now off to faceup artist.

    13. Cool! Glad to hear she made it safe and sound. :celebrate

I know, what to do with all those hands??? Lol.

I'm a noob when it comes to changing body parts, does anyone know if there is a tutorial for it anywhere?

    14. Pull the hand out, so you have a length of elastic on show. Shove a pencil or chopstick between the two bits of elastic you can see, to stop it from pinging back into the body when you remove the hands. Unhook the hand from the s-hook (if the hook comes off as well, just reattach it). Hook new hand onto hook. Remove pencil.

It sounds scarier than it is. Once you have that pencil in there, it's all good. If teh worst happens and the elastic pings into the arm, it is just a matter of getting some wire and stringing the arms back on again. Annoying, but straightforward.

    15. I have only removed my doll's heads, but I read somewhere that for hands and feet, after you pull the hand away from the arm, then put a chopstick to hold the elastic to keep it from going up the arm while you remove the hand. Gonna try it! Meanwhile, I had gotten an outfit made for KW body that fits Rosa's body pretty well, but a little long. I find her feet pretty narrow for the shoes that I have for my Dollstown MSD girls.

Edit! Must've been typing at the same time MadamMauMau!

    16. Thanks MadamMauMau and Theresa! I will try it today. I've heard that minifee shoes should fit Rosa so if you have one try them out. Unfortunately I don't. :sigh

    17. Yes, the MNF shoes fit her well. Even the high-heels work great. Only that it sorts of looks odd .... a 6-years-old in high-heels ;)

    18. Congrats on the new arrivals everyone. Robin and Rosa are really cute!
Sadly I don't know what's going on with the fashion size dolls, and the last I heard from Dollshe there were still issues with the hands and feet being worked on. They offered me a refund and I ended up taking it. Maybe the larger size Rosa will be in the future for me some how...who knows.

@Sharkyra Minifee heels might not look exactly right, but it might make for a fun photo shoot with a larger doll (like if Rosa played dress up with big sister's heels or something) :)

    19. Rosa came with high heel feet! And also with sandal feet which I find very cool.

    20. I was sent an email from Dollshe, that stated all the dolls ordered had been shipped. I have not received a shipping notice. Is that normal for Dollshe?
