1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Dollshe Ladies

Apr 22, 2014

    1. @darling_ja If you can make the clothes so that they fit Amanda and EID - I think you items would sell fine. I had the Amanda small breast and she could wear the EID clothes that I had purchased.

    2. Thank you jo1961 ^_^ you just sold your Erica Snow for a great price too! I would have grabbed her right away if I had seen the post. :doh Why did you sell her? If I may ask. I'm still trying to gather information to convince myself and my husband to cough up the money. LOL

    3. You might be able to save some money by getting her secondhand. Did you want the faceup specifically from Dollshe? If not, I'm sure lots of people will have recommendations for a style that you want for the price range that you're looking for.

I think that the fashion size mature MSDs are tricky because they're all pretty different sizes. For instance, Iplehouse FIDs, Raccoon Dolls and Dollshe Fashion are all different sizes despite all being in the "fashion doll" category. The SD size is at least a little more stable, despite its huge amount of variance too. I think though your best bet is to get the doll that you personally like the most instead of worrying about satisfying a market niche. :)

    4. @darling_ja I have too many size dolls and decided I did not need the EID size. The original Ausley body is smaller and can wear most SID clothing and that is the clothing I have the most of along with the SD size. I have ordered Diana to replace my Erica snow bodies (I had two). I also ordered them in the Honey resin as I prefer that resin. I only wish Dollshe had not discontinued the first female body because the larger body feet/hands will not fit my older Ausley body. So I just hope I do not damage anything major on my older female bodies. :shudder

    5. I personally love her, she looks gorgeous in every photos I see, but my husband won't give me $1000 for a toy that will just sit at home. (according to him) LOL so I try to convince him that I will sew some clothes to sell on etsy to justify my purchase. LOL

    6. I see. Thank you for replying. At least now you know what you want, so things are easier to decide. ^_^
I'm still new and still experimenting with bjd. There are so many dolls to want. LOL
I love honey resin color too if they don't add up like crazy for every parts.
But I always need to justify my spending with my husband, so I need good solid proof to convince him.

    7. @darling_ja I would wait for a doll to appear on DoA or Ebay or some of the other BJD web sites. And Dollshe may reduce her price again - they sometimes do that so you can watch there too. I don't think the doll will be discontinued and if you really love her than wait and watch...the right one will appear. But remeber that the first Dollshe body is different. She has slightly drooping breasts which I find more natural but lots of folks did not like that feature. She is thinner- arms, legs, waist, hips. If a dollshe body is listed be sure you check to make sure it is the one you wish. This is Dollshe's Ausley body:

    8. Thank you ^_^ I have been checking DOA marketplace. I see Dollshe Amanda on sale full set for $900. The seller is very nice too, but I can't convince my husband to spend $900 on a doll. LOL I read on dollshe website that they will not be doing anymore promotion on their dolls. They are trying to finish up the work load and will permanently reduce the work force. I joined in many facebook groups, so far have not seen anything. I like your doll. She does look natural, but I still like the new body more. It seems to have more curves. Your Ausley body blush is indeed very nice and natural. Maybe I should have more patient like you suggested. ^_^

    9. I don't have my girl yet and not he boots but, the 1/3 inner is 8.5cm, which is exactly the size of Amanda's foot. The 70cm version says it's 9.5cm inside, so it would give a little more room and would be more likely to fit. If it was me I would get the 9.5 cm ones to be sure.

    10. Thanks I will try then, the price is okay if it don't work :)

    11. Hey everyone! Sorry to just barge in on the conversation but I just got my first Dollshe!
I got het second hand and eeep! She is beautiful. :D
More pictures will come later once I have her in something that fits her character better.
      Adelaide is just.. breathtaking.

    12. Finally got a wig for my girl that actually fits and suits her character! It was made by Amadiz and looks amazing in person. I thinks she is finally complete :)

    13. @Ashemanu Beautiful face-up and yes the wig really sets it off. I like her long eye lashes too.
@AllyCat Your new Ausley is lovely. This is my favorite female doll body - EVER.
@Heceta Because the new body has those turned up toes she is more difficult to fit for shoes. I had Kim Zentner make me a couple of pair but as they fit my Ausley body will not be parting with them. If you look for men's shoes/boots to fit her make sure they are narrow. Usually if they are a little longer than her foot they will fit. A photo I put together to show shoes on Ausley foot - no turned up toes. Best chance of fitting is a longer narrow male shoe/boot or sandals.
OH - and of course these fit: Basic Layout

    14. Finally had a resolution for my missing Amanda head and hands. Turns out it was delivered and signed for at another address further up the Rd from AngelToast. Despite it being very clearly addressed the person who signed for it has never passed it on :x I am always surprised by the behaviour of people like this as I would never keep something that was clearly not for me

    15. @Ishtar Do you now have the missing box? Surely if they know where it was delivered they can pick it up and get it to you - right? I can not imagine anyone doing that either. Shame on them.

    16. Nothing was returned to me. I just got a phone call on Friday to let me know that the Couriers had managed to track down the receipt and it had been signed for by the holder of that box, even though it was clearly marked for the attention of AngelToast, and it had my return address on there. I will keep a look out for the sale of a copper oriental Amanda Head and hands though, just in case ...

    17. Anyone know how lay a way works with Dollshe? When I go to the checkout page, the button to order takes you directly to PP for the full amount? I know you have to pay Dollshe directly for lay a way, but I don't know how to check out without paying right away to obtain an order #. Does anyone have any words of wisdom?

    18. you cancel the order at Paypal and go back to Dollshe - it will show a cancelled order, but you will have an order no. You then need to make a manual payment for the 1st installment - include the order no in the comments box. Once you have paid leave a message on Dollshe's Q&A page to tell them about your payment.

    19. Thanks so much. I guess they manually reinstate your order then?
