1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

    1. I haven't posted any pics of my girls in a while...and I don't believe I've shared this pic before...

Yes...I still haven't gotten around to painting my Pale Tan Amanda. *^^*

    2. The dealer I went thru spoke with Dollshe and he said Diana's delivery process will start in July. Here's for hope!

@lyn_r Your girls look wonderful, those wigs!!!

    3. Did you guys see the announcement in the news section about the discontinuation of the 26f line? I'm kind of shocked.... I have wanted an Ausley in strawberry or peach for a while now, but I'm not at all saved up for "by the 30th of June" :o:sorry

    4. It's the 30th of July if that helps any?

    5. ah, forgive me i misstyped, that's what I meant. June would be even worse lol! ugh..... I'll have to make decisions.

Doesn't it seem odd that Ausley is only 25% instead of 30% off in the large size, though?

    6. @Lirin I wonder if there is an upcharge for the Ausley head as the Ausley body is no longer available. I had hoped to get extra hands for my Ausley body but Dollshe told me that they would no longer make that body or head. So they have brought back the head (new mold). Maybe??

    7. hmm. maybe, but all the big girls have been listed at the same regular price for quite a while, and the Ausley listing only shows the 'newer' body. I don't know when you asked about the hands, but during the last sale, the anniversary sale, the girls were all the same amount on sale, so if anything this is a really recent decision.

idk, it's probably going to end up that the timing means i have to pass anyway, I just thought it was odd.

    8. @Lirin The body that they are producing now is the newer female body - not the body Ausley came on. That body is slightly smaller at the wrists, ankles, shoulders, maybe neck. So when I asked for parts that fit the original girl body (Ausley) I was told that the doll head and body would no longer be produced-ever. Apparently he has decided to produce the Ausley head again but it is on the newer body so that makes me think he had to make new molds for the Ausley head that I was told would never be made again.
      Gosh, who knows with Dollshe??

    9. yes, I know. I've done my research and I've seen the first body around from time to time. I like it better in some ways, especially in the hands. But ever since I started paying attention to Dollshe again in the last year or so, Ausley has been available with the newer body, at the same price as the other two. Maybe she was discontinued farther back than that, but she's been available on the newer body for a while now. That's why I didn't understand why one of them was $40 -- not that that's a lot when it comes to doll prices, just confusing.

and now they're all getting discontinued. though @BJDivas said in the other thread that it's likely only temporary.

    10. I really don't think this will be a permanent discontinuation, especially since the notice seemed to mention they would still be available sometimes. I've lost track of how many times Dollshe has "discontinued" over the years, so at this point I'm more in the camp of "I'll believe that when pigs sprout wings" ;)

Haven't shared a picture of Lavel in a while, she's fast becoming my favourite of my SD sized dolls.

    11. @Rivon Your girl is lovely & the blue eyes and red hair are wonderful together.
@JinCIncy And your Ausley has the most lovely face-up. Did you do the face-up?
I thought I would share my experience with my purchases with SartoriaJ on Etsy. I think that I mentioned the one pair of shoes did not fit and they were so kind that they send me another that did fit and it was for free. I am liking this company very much.
Here is my Ausley body/IH head in one of their outfits. Very nicely made and fits beautifully.

    12. @jo1961- Thank you! Lyn Raftis did her face up. Good to know you had a good experience with SartoriaJ. I have been debating ordering some things from them.

    13. I will have to order from them at their Etsy store as well. The outfits are so well made. I do wonder why Dollshe has all these different size bodies out now or coming out. Does he notice that it is very hard to shop for clothing and shoes for them? I get that he does not want recasts of his products.

    14. Yes, the recast market has hurt lots of doll artists and certainly not right. Even amazon is selling recasts. But Dollshe could limit sales to the honey resin line only. I don't think recasters would be able to reproduce that. After a few years folks would know that if the resin was not honey and new it would be a recast. The Strawberry matches normal, the honey matches copper oriental and both are much more beautiful and don't yellow. I prefer the honey resins over any other resin dolls I have.

    15. I think that the desire to constantly update the bodies is more related to Mr. Dollshe's artistic perfectionism than anything else. He probably looks at his older bodies and thinks, "Oh my god, that's complete sh*t, I NEED to do it over." Of course, I may be presuming too much and/or projecting, just speaking for myself when I look at things I've made in the past I feel an overwhelming need to shred it and delete it from ever existing. :XD:

I personally would have no issues with the moving to honey altogether, but I think that no small amount of people prefer to have the option of pure resins, and honey resins would be really difficult to hybridize with other companies. Is there even anything similar to Dollshe's honey resins on the market? I know that Iplehouse has their "glow" resin line but it doesn't look to be the same sort of translucency.

    16. @sno4wy I have hybrid the strawberry fresh head with normal resin bodies and no problem. In photos with flash it is not noticeable. The Peach fresh did match IH realskin but IH has darkened their realskin now. IH peach once matched my peach fresh too. I would think that most white resins might do well with snow or milk pale. I have some strawberry fresh bodies coming and will post some hybrid dolls once they arrive. I only have a later IH head in peach with my peach fresh body - (IH hands too) and I am not unhappy with the results. One does take a chance that the resins may change over time although my honey resins seem very stable.

    17. well, i did the thing and got an amanda in copper oriental on layaway. i've been wanting her for a while, and i'm glad i could get in on the discount.
i have a question for any of you who own amanda. what is her exact head measurement? i'm wig shopping and i'm considering having a wig made for her.
thanks in advance, i can't wait to get her home!

    18. I succumb to temptation: I ordered an Ausley Love in pure pale tan skin. She will be my first tan doll and I'm super excited! I paid in full and I'm hoping for a 2-3 months wait. We'll see Dollshe, we'll see. She will also be my first Dollshe girl. The Dollshe boys didn't manage to stay with me and found new homes but I hope she'll stay. :)

    19. Has anyone heard anything about Diana? I dislike bothering them all the time. I am waiting for the old Dollshe Bernard Pure body too. Some of those are shipping but I ordered in Honey Strawberry - may have to wait awhile for him. I have messed about with more 20's fashion - Two dollshes and one Elfdoll head on a dreaming doll body.
