@dollhausen it for me is strange that her measuremts are almost the same as the large women doll. 30cm hips and chest that is so more bigger than most 1/3 girls. I wish her to be slimmer to fit the clothes for 1/3 girls

I saw this page for Natalie is it not the actual cast? Or is this a different version for Natalie and not the 16f? If it is rendering I think I will wait until later in the year to order
Natalie Portman from Leon - DollShe craft there is options for heel legs and gun and special hands and a sad Natalie face but there is no photos or update. I’m thinking maybe he is not interest in female doll because even there is no update on Monica Bellucci doll also?

Dollhausen and Nauticaa and other waiting I hope the wIting is worth it and that maybe include a gift for you for waiting too long. It is bad business to want to get new customers but not the retain of older customers. I feel bad

 

I think in another thread we had a discussion about this and sadly I feel it is true. He must not feel as deeply for the girl sculpts as the boys because Diana, Monica, and Natalie are nowhere to be found with no updates to be seen. Oddly enough he produced the Mini and Max Manga dolls before anything with the three that everyone has been waiting for. So strange.

 

@Nauticaa I'm totally crack-addled because I took that 30% off and applied it to a 26F Ausley body (the old one). I asked my Magic 8 Ball when I'd get my doll and this is what it told me:



@StellaMarigold I measured Ausley's hands and the numbers match up pretty closely, 6.5 cm x 2.5 cm. The only thing is the wrist seems thicker than my Ausley but I was measuring with a ruler so I'm eyeballing it so I get a about a one half inch, so 1.25 cm but it's hard to eyeball where that point is. Overall I'd say that's really close.

@GreenTeaSlug I think Dollshe missed the boat with the size of the 16F body. I don't know what those pictures are on the Natalie page, it looks like some digital mock-up more than a head.

But yeah, Dollshecraft has always been more of a sausage fest than anything. That and a black hole of sheer craziness that makes the theory of relativity and quantum mechanics seem logical and easy to understand in comparison. He went down a wormhole long ago and only occasionally comes back to the real world.

 

@dollhausen - That's terrific! Thank you! After a lot of research yesterday, I was thinking that it would be close as well. Illusion Spirit Female hands (sadly discontinued) are about the same size and look very good on SID dolls - and I know SID hands fit on Ausley.

 

I noticed the difference between the official photos on the website and the actual sculpting of the new 26 female body (Amanda and Erica`s body). There aren`t any additional pieces inside of her chest, and it makes me very sad, because without it this body cannot slouch forward. But I like this body anyway and I think of getting it.

I am sorry for the inconvenience, but could anybody of the owners take a photo of this body slouching, please?

@de_maria_na - I agree, it is too bad they took out the additional chest pieces. They looked nice!

You might want to look up a video on Youtube "Dollshe Amanda BJD Body Review" by sdrcow (I'm not sure if I can link videos or not). His Amanda has the largest bust size, so he says she can't slouch (he doesn't demonstrate slouching) but I thought it was a useful review for the doll in general.

@GreenTeaSlug I think Dollshe has the incorrect measurements for Diana - at least I hope so. It would not be the first time he has incorrect information up on his site.
I have emailed dollshe 3 times in the last 3 weeks asking if Diana is still scheduled to ship this month - no replies. Not good - as I think no replies means he has no idea when Diana will be ready to ship.
No Q&A - I know they are a small company but he seems to get his doll pours out for other companies on a schedule - geeze, why can he not manage his own sculpts on a reliable schedule?

 

I just emailed him as well. I've been pretty patient and haven't contacted him about this until the end of January the first time. But this is ridiculous with no notice at all as to what the plan is. Perhaps if we all start spamming him he'll get on it. I'm getting pretty annoyed with the constant sales, the never ending discontinuation doll scenario, etc. He's definitely pumping some dolls out from what I see on the other thread but I think it's time for him to at least tell us that there is some movement on Diana at all. Of course, he's got nothing to tell if he's done nothing.

 

maybe an odd question, but has anyone ever done a mod of the Erica Snow head? I like a lot of aspects about it but it seems like the edge of the lower lip is weirdly... sharp? ledge-like? I was curious if anyone had tried softening that a bit, and if there were pics around

I'd also just love to see more Erica pics in general! I've looked on insta, flickr and tumblr as well as here and there just don't seem to be very many of her out there -- at least compared with all the (really lovely in their own right) Amandas.

(still thinking about who would look good with my dsam35 Saint and Rosen over here. no immediate plans, which with dollshe is basically a requirement lol)

 

@jo1961 Im crossing my fingers and hoping the measurements are a mistake. Im comparing her measurements with the bigger dollshe girls and she's not that far from them in dimensions but I like her shape better. Im surprised he has disappointed his customers this way. I studied in marketing that its always a priority to retain customers vs gaining new ones.

The frustrating thing is he seems to be on schedule for the Venitu and Dollstown releases but with his own dolls it looks like people are now in almost 2 years? I haven't gotten a reply from him either but Ive decided that if I do order, its going to be through BJD Divas. She's replied to me within hours and she's very nice and she's honest. Ill be waiting until you super patient people get your orders and we see some of the IRL photos of the body and measurements before I order Natalie from BJD Divas. I really like the extras thats coming with Natalie, but seeing how things are going, Ill wait to order for my own sanity

 

About every week I have been writing Dollshe asking about Diana and shipping schedule as we were told March. Yesterday I got this answer:

I think Diana is not even ready to pour. It is well past a year but can I ask for all of my money to be refunded?

My girl arrived today. I purchased her on DOA a Dollshe Amanda in Fresh skin. She only came with flat feet so will keep her look simple until I can find high heel feet.

I am trying to find leggings with some thickness to fabric as don't want them to be see through. Can anyone guide me to a pattern site or actual pattern for such pants? Also to a maker of tube tops or again a pattern.

No I didn't see the movie. I just love the idea of her having 2 looks, esp since she is my only big girl. Finding her stuff to wear has been an adventure.

I thought I would let everyone know that I did cancel and get my refund for my Dianas. If they do ship sometime this year and if someone decides they are not happy with this bjd - please let me know as I would still love one Diana. I very sadly cancelled my order - still think Dollshe makes the best resin dolls available.

 

I was told that Iplehouse EIDW size clothing fit the larger Dollshe girls with the new body that Amanda comes with. I think you might have to change out her small bust and put in the medium or large bust. I don't know how to switch them out and I don't want to try with my Erica when I get around to opening her.

Sorry to hear that. I got the "we'll let you know next week" email yesterday. I'm going to hang in there but after I get Diana and the Ausley body I ordered, I'm done with Dollshe.

@animemom Congrats on the arrival! Let us know on the thread if you find shoes for her....that's been the adventure for me....

 

I didn't get other busts with her and I doubt anyone will be selling their busts plus I love her in the small bust.
