Dollshe Ladies

@animemom Your new girl is fabulous!

Count me in on the waiting club. I already had a big guy on order, so I figured what the heck and added an Amanda beauty head. I've wanted her since I saw the first production images, so what's an extra year if it comes to that? XD

 

While it's sad that you never got your dolls I am glad that you were able to get your money back with no hassle. Honestly I don't think he's even been working on Diana or Natalie even though Diana appears 99% finished in the blog post. I am truly disappointed by Dollshe atm and I have another 30% coupon that I'd like to use but I can't bring myself to do it.

 

It's truly awful that Dollshe has taken people's hard earned money to buy his lovely dolls he has promised to make, but instead just makes more promises and leaves people waiting for way too long. If I hadn't placed my orders for all mine through BJDivas I would be asking for my money back and just buy second hand. I am waiting on four MSD sized dolls from Dollshe and I haven't been waiting long, but I could have used that money to cover other things instead of trusting Dollshe to follow through. I just wish people would stop placing new orders until everyone has their dolls. But I can't blame them when he keeps offering sales on dolls he said would be discontinued.

 

I have an Amanda Beauty head that I need to hybrid - I am just not willing to place an order with Dollshe for her body and endure a prolonged wait.
Does anyone know of a compatible body that works well? I have searched through the threads but can't see what works with the Dollshe ladies.

Granado Nuevo is closest, Impl Doll Idol or Star has necks a little bigger. The Dollstown 18 yr old girls body maybe. That Amanda neck at 10cm sits between a bunch of dolls at 9.5 (Granado at 9.7) and others at 10.5 (Impl Doll and Iplehouse).

 

Dollstown 17 year old girl may not match the neck in terms of measurements (I haven't checked, but assume the 17 neck is smaller than the 18 year old neck), but I know of at least one person planning the hybrid and another who has actually done it. I have also seen an Ausley head on a DT 17 year old body. In both cases I think the proportions may look even better than on the original 26F body.

I know he had dolls in line before Diana but aren't they shipping them by now? Shouldn't she be next to ship? It's been so long I don't remember.

 

On the other board someone has posted that he is claiming the molds are being made and shipment should start in May....but we've heard this story before.

 

@StellaMarigold That does look good. I agree the proportions are better. Dollshe's heads always look a little smallish on their respective bodies.

Yes, Dollshe sent me an email saying that they were working on the molds for the 16F body and were hoping to ship in May. But I'll believe it when I see it. Dollshe's the king of empty promises....

 

Thank you Dollhausen and StellaMarigold, that is really helpful. The proportions look spot on in the photo too . I shall go and have a look at the different bodies with some hope now!

I just adore my Amanda Beauty head and she definitely deserves her own body. Her face up came out just as I had hoped.

If you have been reading the Dollshe thread, I cancelled my Dianas. I was sad to do so but had waited 1 year and two months with so many promises. Dollshe did not return the full amount and I have been a long term customer with lots of purchases so I will not be ordering from Dollshe again. If Diana does get produced and someone decides they do not like her - please let me know as I still would like one Diana.

I had another look but can't see an arrow on the photo my end. I can see a sharing icon, but none of the options seem to give me a bbcode - everything else but though lol! My desktop computer is crashing, so I will need to try and locate it soon myself.

I really wanted a Diana too, so feel your sadness. I just knew that I couldn't put myself through a long and trying wait - I am way too impatient. I also don't want to do business with someone who thinks that it is acceptable to treat his customers like this. It shows a scant respect imo. He is happy to take our hard earned cash and then give us one broken promise after another.

I have Arsene who I adore and would love a Diana one day, I can't see it happening for me though now.

I bought the current Dollstown 17 girl body, yesterday for my Amanda head. It was being offered with a 15% discount and free shipping and was showing in stock, so I am hoping it will be here within the next six weeks hopefully. I don't mind if I have to fiddle with it a bit to get a perfect fit. Fingers crossed that it will look as good as I hope! Otherwise I will have to rethink and get a Dollstown head for it.....and so my collection will grow lol....

Thanks Jo, yes this is what I see on my desktop, but the Flickr app on my phone doesn't give me the same options, so I shall have to try and work out where it is. The link below is a screenshot I have saved to Flickr of what I see on the app. When I click on the share icon I get options to share with other apps etc (Facebook/Twitter etc) and email, along with saving the picture in a certain size and copying the url.

My desktop is having issues with the hard drive, and is taking 20 mins to load up. I was hoping the Flickr app would be the same as the desktop version but it appears not, lol.

I don't own any of the Dollshe ladies. I can't deal with the long wait times from Dollshe, so I keep putting off getting one of them. I think the pictures with the Dollstown 17yr body is just great. That looks like a very nice alternative to the original body, but do anyone know how great a poser it is compared to the Dollshe body? I just assume the Dollshe ladies pose really excellent, so I would hesitate to get a body with less posing for a hybrid.

@Saraht It is not possible to get the BBcode from the Flickr App. I can't remember the reason, but I looked into it before because I couldn't figure i out. The only way to get the BBcode is from using an internet browser. Really frustrating...

 

Thank you Prinsessen for confirming the BBcode is not available on the Flickr app. Although it is a shame it is not on there, at least I won't go mad looking for it now!

My ' in stock' Dollstown 17 body should be here in the next month or so with any luck hopefully, and I can let you know how it compares to my Arsene and Robin pose wise, for my Amanda head. I will be mindful not to go too off topic on this Dollshe thread, but let's face it - needs must and if Dollshe had got his act together I would be buying both a body, and Diana from him! Not an ideal situation......

 

It does look like her to me. The eyes are quite deeply shaded so she does look a little different to other owner photos.
