1. It has come to the attention of forum staff that Dollshe Craft has ceased communications with dealers and customers, has failed to provide promised refunds for the excessive waits, and now has wait times surpassing 5 years in some cases. Forum staff are also concerned as there are claims being put forth that Dollshe plans to close down their doll making company. Due to the instability of the company, the lack of communication, the lack of promised refunds, and the wait times now surpassing 5 years, we strongly urge members to research the current state of this company very carefully and thoroughly before deciding to place an order. For more information please see the Dollshe waiting room. Do not assume this cannot happen to you or that your order will be different.

Dollshe Ladies

Apr 22, 2014

    1. I love Dollstown bodys as well. Looking good!

    2. I have not been up on the DoA board in ages - seems as if life has gotten in the way. Dollshe makes my favorite dolls and it is lovely to see some new ones on their site.

    3. Finally got my Dollstown 17 Vision body for my Dollshe Erica Snow. ABSOLUTELY PERFECT. The proportions are beautiful. She finally feels complete after a 6+ years as a floating head.

I have purchased a Dollshe Diana 16f body. Would anyone know a compatible heel feet by chance?

    4. I've managed to acquire a Dollshe body but it came with no silicone kips -- will filling in the holes with hot glue be a suitable substitute or are there any other recommendations?

    5. I haven't tried it yet, but a few people have recommended using silicone sealant to suede dolls in general.

    6. I'm going to echo @ElizabethStiles and suggest silicone sealant - clear aquarium caulking specifically - which I have used to suede a couple dolls. Mostly I use it in place of silicone wigcaps to keep slippery wigs in place (thick ring around the headcap). I've had issues with it peeling up when spread in a thin layer over large joints, but that shouldn't be an issue with replacing the silicone kips in a DollShe body

    7. Hiya, wanted to given an update! The silicone sealant worked out well. The smell was gone after leaving it alone overnight. It was definitely easier to manage after curing than hot glue would have been.

Meet Ofelia! She's a series of firsts for me -- first time stringing, first time body blushing, first face up. While these aren't her final eyes (the only spare I have don't fit quiiiite right into the wells...) or wig, and I need to finish the manicure on her hands and feet (I got impatient once this quick wig fix arrived) and I'm still waiting on eyelashes too, I think all the work I've put into her has made me understand the addiction now. Apologies for the crappy phone pics, but I'm so excited to finally have her together after seeing the box of doll parts week after week.

Also -- it's incredible what a difference body blushing makes, even if the finish is a bit fragile. Really happy about this head-first foray into customizing!

    8. Congrats on getting your girl put together, Momotion!

My Ausley Love is finally coming together, yay! Finished her faceup, finally found a pair of eyes I liked (I went through 4 pairs of eyes before deciding on these) and got a wig that felt right for her. Just need to do her outfit and body blushing, etc and then...I may be able to come up with a name lol.

    9. This is very helpful, I have two DollShe bodies where some of the kips are worn off. I assume there is no way to do it on a strung doll, you have to unstring it? Thank you!

    10. Beautiful Ausleys! I wish she wasn't too big for me (apparently I can't handle anything over 57cm lol). I love her unique and natural face a lot, though!

    11. Maybe you could try hybriding? It worked for me.
I have hybrided mine on an Ariadoll body and put on my Kdoll Kasis head on the Dollshe body.
I'm very happy with both hybrids.

    12. @Blablette - Thank you for the idea! I don't mind hybriding so I'll keep that in mind! Your Ausley looks lovely - I like the contrast between the pale skin and very dark hair.

    13. She has a narrow enough head that she doesn't look bad on smaller bodies definitely. I haven't really tried my Ausley head on smaller bodies yet, but it seems like she's one of the better ones for hybriding smaller.

    14. Thank you @StellaMarigold I'm really happy about how she turned out. She was supposed to be a red head but she decided she wanted to go darker.^_^
Indeed, @TatterPunk , she looks great with a smaller body than the Dollshe one.

    15. I’ve also done the original tiny Ausley head on withdoll’s ~57cm body, and an Amanda on sooms new supergem body (~58), and had decent results! They made the original heads really small, so they fit a surprising number of bodies!!

This is my ausley (whose wig direly needs to be redone)

    16. Hi~ Does anyone know if Sartoriaj SD Women's clothes are a good fit for the Dollshe 26F bodies?

    17. Think it really depends on the outfit. Anything too tight or tailored is gonna be a no go.I just got a bunch of clothes in from Sartoriaj for my girls, and I can see how they work on my Dollshe girl tonight.

    18. Thank you so much. That would be super helpful.

    19. So the bottoms (which have stretch) fit with careful maneuvering. The top was a no go in my opinion. Maybe if someone fiddled with it more. I have the medium bust on my girl but I felt it was less the chest that was the problem and more her shoulders.

Took pictures of front and back.

    20. Okay I tried an outfit that was sort of the opposite of the first (Loose top and more structured skirt), and the top fit pretty well, and the skirt wasn't a bad fit but it wouldn't zip all the way. I don't have any of the more modern clothes to try unfortunately.
